Not stuffy or pretentious, all I ever need from a coffee spot...plus those bay windows get insane sun. Thank you for a no frills, insanely good coffee spot.
Really tasty coffee, and I would say below average NYC price 👌
Awesome coffee spot during the day frose spot at night. Super dog friendly.

Yummy coffee & good vibes!
Nice decor, looks of seating!
Very cute bear cookie 🥺
such a great mocha!
I like this place a lot. Good cold brew & good beans, cool people work here. Dog friendly (if your dog is friendly). Indoor and outdoor seating.
Great place to chill and have a coffee. The have some amazing sandwiches available at certain times.
SO happy with this new addition to the neighborhood. Very friendly staff, they have one of the best lattes I've had in NYC, and really delicious and fresh pastries.
So lovely! My fiancé and I were their first guests, and the coffee and service were fantastic. We can’t wait to see them do well! Welcome!
Consistently high-quality coffee which is what really matters even though there’s a wide range of barista personalities. Clean bathroom.
Great coffee, greater drinks, greatest people behind the bar. (don’t miss out on the evening cocktails for $10!)
Great vibe, great staff - a neighborhood bar favorite! Also fun different food pop-ups and art events.
Good flat white, nice amount of strength, and a good deal cheaper than in the city
Great neighborhood coffee shop. The coffee is excellent. The coffee shop itself is charming with killer vibes. Love it!
Good amount of space for studying/hanging out! All the staff are very friendly and accommodating! Good coffee! What’s not to love?
Cozy corner coffee shop. Love to grab coffee by the windows and enjoy people watching. They also have a full bar now!
Love this new coffee shop! Super friendly owner, vegan AND kid friendly, great place to work, plus they have soy milk.
Best tacos- vegan one! I’m converted. Really great people thanks for improving our neighborhood ! High Rec on all!
So chill and beautiful inside! The staff was super helpful and the coffee was super good.
Very cozy little cafe. And what a nice barista!
Best croissant and coffee in brooklyn. They bake their own and it shows! I never fail to stop by when in the area.
Fun and funky cafe with a great vibe. Delicious vegan breakfast tacos and great coffee!
Very mellow cafe with amazing food and great drinks
Best coffee shop in NY!!! Amazing coffee & customer service. Looking forward to stopping by everyday.
Great atmosphere, and the frozen hibiscus tea and vegan tacos were delicious!
Love this place. Has wifi, staff is really friendly, and they have a nice atmosphere to post up and work. Will definitely become a regular
This place is great! They have a wide variety of beverage choices, the staff is delightful, and there is ample seating for groups. They also do events and food pop ups (like $5 tapas Fridays!). Centrally located and definitely worth a stop — you might end up staying a while.
Extremely good coffee, with ample space to chill, study, or work, inside and outside - rarely do I find a coffee shop that has actually good coffee AND a great space. Cold brew tastes fresh, espresso is professionally made. The vibe here is awesome and honest. Great job Here bk. Y’all have created a wonderful space for this neighborhood.
Love this place. It's perfect for coffee and work or drinks with a friend. Always has great art up and the staff is always super nice.
best kept secret in the neighborhood! Delicious $8 frozen cocktails, lovely bartenders.
In May 2024, I stumbled upon this cool cafe while wandering around the neighborhood. Here BK is a relaxing oasis that makes a tasty cappuccino. The chill vibe is perfect for getting lost in a book or working on your laptop. All that & chatting with some friendly locals made this café one of the highlights of my NY trip.
Strong medium roast, efficient barista, and plenty of seating to read, or work on your laptop. WiFi wasn’t working for me, but there’s good cell signal to use my hotspot. Plus they’re playing Bob’s Burgers in the background, lol…
Not a local by any means but this was such a wonderful stop after walking around Brooklyn and taking in the wonderful shops around the area. The employees are warm, welcoming, and know what they're doing. My group ordered an Oat Matcha, a Mocha Latte, and an Espresso. The service was quick but not rushed. The mocha and matcha were unbelievably silky and tasted wonderful and the espresso was expressive without being offensive to the palate. If you're searching for a place to rest, this seems to be the perfect cafe for locals to come in and study/work. I did not get to try anything on tap or any of the wine and I honestly regret not making time to come in again before my weeklong trip ended. If I find myself in New York again, even for just a few hours, I will definitely be taking a visit to Here Bk. Much love from HTX, Dave.
I don’t normally leave reviews but this place is just great. The food is great and comes fast. The staff is friendly and cool. The place is beautiful. And it’s reasonably priced. Wish there were more cafes like it!
One wouldn’t think Williamsburg needed another coffee shop. Yet, here I am, someone completely obsessed with the newest one in the neighborhood. The owner is the nicest guy who strives for perfection and constant improvements.
Easily the best cafe in brooklyn thanks to great coffee and especially my barista Lila who made a great cortado.
Great place to sit quietly, have coffee or a cool drink and enjoy some quiet time. Great atmosphere. No one rushing you to clear your table. I’ll be back for sure.
My new favorite neighborhood spot. Excellent coffee, phenomenal vegan breakfast tacos, friendly staff and cool vibe. Right now there’s some great paintings by a local artist on the wall.
Awesome new cafe. The coffee was on point, and the vegan tacos were bomb. They also have this really tasty bear cookie! Great addition to the neighborhood.
Great cold brew, quick service, excellent food options, rotating local art installations, and plenty of room to sit and enjoy the space.
Here Bk has the best vibe in the entire area in my opinion. They are now open late night Thursday-Saturday with a full bar, great drinks and a cozy atmosphere.
Really nice versatile place. Coffee by day and bar by night. Allows humans of all ages even late at night
It’s a great addition to this neighborhood with a courteous staff always willing to help. Coffee is authentic, I enjoyed the latte and small brownies. Highly recommend!
Man I love this spot. A delicious brunch spot (that chorizo hash has been on my mind ever since first having it). Amazing coffee and punk band merch?! Seems like a spot was plucked from my own imagination. What more could i want? Hmm maybe delicious cocktails at night too. Well, guess what? they do that too.
I came here randomly, looking for a cafe to do some work in. This place was great! A nice open space with a good amount of seating, including a booth side which is comfortable. They have a lot of different cafe items and bar items and although I only got cafe related items, I enjoy the feeling of the duality. I also like that they close later than most cafes so I don't feel rushed to leave. The music was nice as well, not too loud and not annoying radio music. I got the blueberry scone and it was so good seriously. I would come back :)
Bro this place is lit! I’ve been coming here for the past two years and honestly they have a solid community and solid atmosphere. They constantly have community based events and know what their demographic needs! They recently got a new barista and they’re awesome- despite what that heinous and racist review that was posted said! Yuck! My fave thing about HERE is that they’re from BK and they make sure to always represent and give back to the community. Thanks for being HERE (see what I did there?) and giving us a place to get together.
I hosted my 30th birthday party here and it was an absolute pleasure!! The owner was SOO kind and flexible, letting my friends essentially take over the aux and the projector and put pictures of my face everywhere (lol). It was the perfectly sized space and the bartenders and owner were so generous in having to serve probably more people than they usually would on a Friday night. The cocktails are delicious, the vibes are immaculate. So grateful to HereBk 💛💛💛🙏🏼🙏🏼
How do you classify this awesome spot in Brooklyn? It’s part cafe part bar part brunch spot and has an overall punk rock vibe. I dig it! Def coming back for a cozy spot to read on the weekend.
Such a cozy and stylish spot! The vibe at Here BK is warm and welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. Great coffee, delicious pastries, and super friendly staff. Definitely one of my go-to spots in the neighborhood!
Great coffee shop and bar, good coffee, lots of natural light and comfy seating. Will come back for Happy Hour (4-7pm) on a different day
📍here bk a perfect cafe to work from, and a huge plus on natural light 〰️ there are wifi, great coffee (they use la colombe), many pastries, tons of seat, and restroom. could not ask for more 🫶🏻
Good matcha & Negroni. You can have the best of both worlds 😳 the environment is really nice 🙌🏻

I ride past this place in the mornings on my way to work at 5am and I finally got to go while they were open! An unassuming facade, then the inside is so cozy and aesthetic and the workers were so kind! Great variety of syrup flavors, which i always appreciate. The #1 sandwich slapped.
Came here with my wife for mellow date drink. Bartender was truly excellent. Very knowledgeable and knows how to make a real drink. No fussy stuff. Perfect neighborhood bar, cozy and welcoming and laid back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great local spot to relax and enjoy good company. Will have to come back to check out their various events.
Here BK is the ultimate hidden gem in Brooklyn! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with such warmth and friendliness—it truly feels like home. The vibe is cozy, inviting, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Special shoutout to Andrew, who crafts the best gin martinis I’ve ever had. Whether you're here for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail, you can’t go wrong. This place has easily become my go-to spot, and I can’t recommend it enough!
Great cafe that makes the best oat matcha lattes. I come here to do work sometimes and it’s a great place to focus. Sometimes it’s busy and you can’t get a table, but when there’s one available, it’s good. The vibes are great.
Best coffee in the neighborhood. Smooth and medium with good body. Lots of seating and natural light. I post up to work here often and love meeting friends here. Great music generally, although it is a bit loud sometimes. At any rate, I love this place
This place is the best cup of coffee in the area! The vibes are fantastic, everyone who works there is so nice. Late night is also great- the frozen espresso martini and frozen margaritas are delicious!
I can’t rave enough about this place. I go nearly every day and get an oat cappuccino. They have the best oat milk cappuccino I’ve ever had (!) and the vibes are immaculate and prices reasonable. Great place to spend a Saturday to get some life admin done.
There are 2 coffee shops closer to my apartment and I will walk to this one every time. The coffee is by far the best tasting. The people who work here are great. The neighborhood vibe, the art they display, and the music they play makes it one of my favorite coffee shops in Brooklyn.
Not a ton of places where you can order both a hot herbal tea and a Mezcal cocktail at 8pm, but this is one of them and I'm all about it.

Cool place for a private event, drinks were good but nothing crazy
Had just coffee, it pretty good coffee, need more breakfast choices. Parking is very hard to find.
Nice neighbourhood spot, with v courteous service. By the time I stopped by, they didn't have much left, but my scone and Caffè latte were very good.
Good coffee, good Argentine fast food in rear. But the huevos rancheros up front were terrible : cold beans, watery plate, small portion
Nice coffee shop with food options, there are about 8-10 double seats tables, heads-up the WiFi sucks 😞
I loved my latte, and my croissant was alright. Staff was nice and friendly and the atmosphere was cool, as the place turns to a cafe by night. I would recommend.
Cafe with character. Unfortunately, the drip coffee was bodega quality.

This coffee shop is great I have one minor issue the music is so so loud like mind numbing loud everything else is great.
Cute inside, lots of seating space to do work. Good music but def kind of loud in some spots. Coffee is fine and pastries are fine. Don't get the matcha though its like a cup of warm milk with a dusting of matcha.
I came here to work but unfortunately the music was so loud and distracting that it was hard to focus on getting anything done. If you’re looking for a place to read or study I’d choose a different place.

I got a basic drip and it was luke warm and on the bland side. Props to the barista who was very kind and offered a different drink, but I really just wanted a hot cup of plain coffee. It wasn’t crowded so good to sit down for a chat but the interior and music wasn’t exactly comfortable. Overall I feel like a cafes drip should be a staple and this one was definitely not one i would come back for. Edit: owners response is wildin. “Petty” because the review contains a valid criticism that you don’t like? I respect the hustle for being a mom and pop cafe but that’s irrelevant to a good cafe experience. For the record I never advised people not to go, I simply said I would personally not be returning. I guess their expectation is for all reviews to have a heavy bias in their favor. Questionable take. You’re in THE hub of hipster cafedom and your main offering — coffee — was subpar. After a splash of milk it was legitimately room temperature. I hope you can improve and best of luck. Oh and born and raised in ny btw, rich words coming from a cafe owner in east Williamsburg. Edit 2: to respond to your edit the last thing I’ll say is that a business is not automatically worthy of praise just because it is small. I’m sorry you’re not happy to not receive 5 stars but I genuinely did not have a good experience and I’m simply being honest. I leave plenty of raving reviews for places that I think are exceptional. Good business would mean either taking the criticism into consideration or somehow rectifying it — throwing shade not only solidifies my opinion but is a bad look for everyone else who might see this. Best of luck.
Very disappointed. I got a latte and an iced coffee. Legitimately tasted like water and a faint taste of coffee-which wasn’t good, i could not give my friend the other drink. However the coffee shop is a cute and i hope to see some things change.
Weird vibes overall…both from the barista and the other customers. The coffee itself is good, but I wish they had better snack options…everything looked (and tasted) a bit old. Very hipster atmosphere, if that’s your thing. One star goes to the clean bathrooms.
