Grand Morelos Brooklyn Reviews
Did a pickup order for the chicken burrito - really flavorful, quick easy pickup, great sauce! recommend.
Legendary spot. True if you know you know type-ish. They make the bread in-house for the torta and it’s basically stupid. Go-to is the Lengua or the tinga de pollo. Can’t beat it.
I always said NYC has no good Mexican food; I’m calling Pedro pascal and telling him to meet me here bc it’ll shut both of us up! Tacos HUGE with two your set and I am a big girl. Tamale Oaxaca was flavorful and not too oily or heavy. Al pastor taco had good flavor, texture and was perfectly sweet I will forever come here every NYC trip
I live in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, and my go-to spot for dining is Grand Morelos. It’s the kind of place I bring family and friends again and again—whether we’re craving breakfast, brunch, dinner, dessert, or just a round of drinks from the bar, they’ve got it all. The food is consistently delicious, the prices are fair, and the staff go above and beyond. They’re attentive, accommodating, and never blink when I ask for off-menu combinations—they make it happen with a smile. Whether you're dining solo or out with a group, Grand Morelos delivers every time. It’s more than a restaurant—it’s a neighborhood staple.
A lovely little diner in Brooklyn! Came here after a late night dance event and had a MASSIVE milkshake and two great burritos for a very reasonable price. It also has a wide selection of baked goods that look delicious (we were stuffed from the burritos so we didn't get to try any!) Very family friendly vibe, but chill music and cute decor gives it a definite retro feel. And the service was lovely. Worth the walk if you're around!
I love this restaurant more than any restaurant in my whole neighborhood. I usually do my birthdays here. I take anybody that I bring out of town there. It’s just a clean environment. The people are amazing. The food is delectable. You can’t beat it plus on top of that tab dinner breakfast luncheon dessert all everything that you could ever ask for in one restaurant you can’t beat it. I love this restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant in the whole neighborhood and that will never change. it is the only restaurant I know that has all organic materials that make up all their food. They make everything from scratch. They have a bar they have dessert. They have food. You can’t beat it and everything is fairly priced. Nothing is overpriced like a normal city it’s actually a restaurant that works with you to make sure that you have the best meal that you can get for a price that you can’t get nowhere else. Thank you grand morelos for a great birthday that I will never forget
I had a great time dining at Grand Morelos. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes and the dish did not let me down. The plate is packed with flavorful ingredients like beans, cream and cheese. The dish had a moderate amount of spiciness, quite enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. I’d be glad to return for chilaquiles again when I’m in the Williamsburg area.
Been here twice now. The current 4.1 average rating seems pretty accurate. The breakfast I got was pretty solid, no complaints at all. I came again for pozole (one of my favorite foods) - kinda disappointed. The broth wasn’t super flavorful, kinda felt like cafeteria food. I think I would come back again but something a bit more basic or for brunch. On that note, let me know if there’s a better pozole place you’d recommend. Music is great though - absolute bangers.
The food is good. But this is the second time I've bought a croissant. I ask if it's fresh. When I get home, it looks like a croissant from many days ago. Not fresh or edible.
Ordered a 2 for 1 breakfast burrito from Uber Eats. We only received one order. Impossible customer support on this issue, so called the restaurant and they hung up on me. Burrito was mediocre at best.
Worst veg wrap in NY, and potentially the entire country. To make it worse, the price posted outside was $6.99, but I was charged over $10. Description says avocados, which sounded great! No avocados were in the wrap, and the veggies we're flavorless...as you can see in the pic, those are some flavorless tomatoes. This place may have other decent choices, but this was disgusting, and should be removed from the menu.
