BRUJOS Brooklyn Taco Company Brooklyn Reviews
Love this place! Smart to leave a review to get a shot but that’s not the only reason! Friendly staff, great food and drinks, relaxing vibe! Appreciate this place
Fer made me the best margarita I’ve had in BK in a very long time! 100% recommended
The tinga burrito from this restaurant is delicious! The service is good and the atmosphere is calm but fun. Most importantly, the food is amazing! Also, I have had this burrito many times now, and the restaurant is consistent in the quality of their food. There has not been one time where the tinga burrito was not amazing. I recommend getting it with guacamole too. :)
Last night my little family I visited your taco restaurant for the first time and truly had such a special family moment. I am vegan and it is HARD to find actually good tasting vegan food and your vegan nachos KILLED! We were there celebrating the end of my husband’s chemo treatments but I shared NONE with anyone and ate that whole tray to myself because it was ADDICTING! Also the atmosphere was very cozy and great for a date night as well as a family night. Thank you for sprinkling in a bit of magic to our cancer journeys and creating a space where we could all relax and escape for a few minutes!
Great new discovery! If you’re looking for awesome Mexican food this is the place! We tried the lunch special: 3 small tacos Al Pastor, Carnitas & Tinga (this was our favorite, meat was tender with a lot of flavor) served with a green sauce which it was delicious. Also, includes a soda everything for $10. Love the decor & the vide with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were super nice & friendly! Excellent service! Can’t wait to return and try more things!

Delicious. I got the Tamarind Margarita (nice and limey), taquitos (the salsa verde was incredible and good spice), and the mango habanero wings (nice and moist with the sauce on the side but I’d get something else next time). Reasonably price. Friendly staff. Good vibes. Great music. Solid. Next time, I want to get nachos, tacos and a soup.
I think a random google search during my taco phase helped me find this place. I bookmarked it and the rest is history. Since then I’ve been here over a dozen times and have yet to have a bad drink or meal. The first visit I played it safe and ordered the carnitas bowl 🤤 w/a side cup of sour cream and a margarita. The second time I did the same bowl but with the Tamarindo - a margarita kinda drink (warning the rim isn’t salt - it’s some spicy 🌶️ red peppery flaky blend I didn’t care for. I have a pallet issue with the whole sweet/salty & salty/spicy trend. Next time I’d definitely ask for sugar sub) After that on another visit I tried the fish tacos which was amaze-balls!! I also had the Brujos margarita. I won’t keep doing down the list but I will jump to last night which I visited but stepped away from my usual carnitas and opted for the chorizo bowl. It was slightly spicy but pleasantly so, full of flavor from the sour cream, beans, tomatoes - there was definitely a party 🥳 in my mouth. Servings were amazing as usual. You will leave feeling satisfied but not disgustingly stuffed. I think you’d appreciate that leaves room for desert if you skipped the appetizers. On the drink I did something new - Picasso Paloma which was amazing and got to the point if you get my drift. A nice buzz without getting drunk. It’s exactly what I like when I want a drink but not a few. Overall the value is there if you compare price points now a days. Often times you’re paying more and the servings in some places shrink or remain the same. This is my hidden gem that I am not ashamed to say I kinda gate keep on and don’t tell EVERYONE about. I will say that if your curious about it just go! You won’t regret it at all. Even if you find you went a little over your budget at least it was on good food and excellent service + atmosphere. The place is always clean, bathrooms are always tidy (there’s 2: one tiny closet - avoid that one ladies, you have to be a magician to not break a sweat trying to move around and not let your tush hit anything. The second one much larger.) and the ladies behind the bar are super sweet that’s why I always dine at the bar. They’re super attentive and get you anything you need very quickly. If you go I hope you enjoy!! 10/10 highly recommended. *Ive added pics of all the items I tried during multiple visits including a steak burrito bowl I didn’t mention. I think it’s el pastor (don’t quote me on the name but it was definitely steak!)
This place is good! They recently opened at this location and I had to check them out. The food is delicious, service is quick and the space is so nice. They have a heated tent in the backyard, perfect for Covid times during child January temperatures. We had tortas to go. The bread was crunchy outside and soft inside and quality meat inside. The tacos looked delicious. Definitely think I found a great new taco spot!
I randomly found Brujos while coming into the area to go thrift store shopping. I found a gem! I ordered nachos and they added shrimp for me even though it was not on the menu. They have bar seating and regular seating. My friend ordered the huevos rancheros and she gave it a 8.5/10. I enjoyed the nachos too. The jalapenos were fresh and everything was flavorful. I only wanted a bit more cheese. They have good happy hour deals so I have to find my way back there.
Solid Tacaqueria! Upon entering its super dim, so they should maybe reprint the menus (instead of having them printed on Black background, making it hard to read). The bartender was polite. She was efficient. She understood the daily specials and happy hour. Tacos are $3 for taco Tuesday! The margarita was $8 (all cocktails are $8.00 for HH) , it was decent. Overall quick interaction. Service and food was good. Drink and lighting / menu contrast need work. Will be back soon!
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and unfortunately the food is sub-par. The chicken was so rubbery I couldn’t even eat it (I ordered the enchiladas) and the flavor was a bit bland. Hopefully they can improve and become a nice staple for the area as we are missing a good Mexican joint
I NEVER leave reviews but this has to be said. Was almost finished with my food when I bit into a huge peice of plastic and when I spit it out it honestly looked like glass. So sharp and hurt! Could have chipped my tooth or been swallowed. The restaraunt couldn’t have cared less. When I was transferred to the manager he said sorry once carelessness and said “sooo uhh what do you want me to do, credit, more food?” ???????? I said a refund would be nice and I wanted to let them know because they are serving this to people!!! Literally disgusted with the carelessness from the food being made to the way this was handled.
The place was quiet and peaceful...as for the waitress she was quiet and staring with a lemon look on her face she wasnt as welcoming as she should of been and lacked the happy spirit...overall myself and company were unsatisfied w the food and lack of communication as my steak tacos were chewy and lacked flavor...1st time was a dissapointment for us.
