This is my go to spot. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. Service there is very good. I've been going there close to 10 years. They're open 24 hrs. I suggest the Mexican steak salad. Don't forget the chip & guacamole with the salsa verde.

We were staying nearby so we're a bit biased but this was the perfect spot for visitors on a budget. Diner and Mexican type breakfast was ideal for us each morning, and they were quick with everything co,in from the kitchen. Even the 80s radio that they had playing was good.

I have been here time and time again and it doesn’t miss. Service good. Price great. Food fantastic. Dine in, take out, it’s all good.

Clean restaurant, good customer service ,tasty food . Given four stars before because I didn't receive my orange juice I paid for. But Just recently purchased a cake there for my friend’s baby shower beautifully decorated and tastes great. So you get five stars now.

They have these amazing fruit drinks. I ordered the melon drink and my sister ordered the mango pineapple. We ended up switching but they were both delicious. Their nachos, guacamole, burgers, fries and burritos are really good as well. I've been coming here for years and the service is always great. Very friendly people. Also they are part Bakery so their deserts are great too.

Where im at nr. S. Williamsburg, there are very few options for just 'plain old' diner food. Grand Morelos hit the spot! The sausage was unique and the chicken soup had a Mexican vibe that was amazing= honestly the best chicken soup ive ever had. Ive only had breakfast items but look forward to trying everything else! Yum!

My #1 underrated taco spot. Modern jukebox, different cervezas, delectable tacos at a decent price AND they are opened into the wee hours? I love the pleasantries of this restaurant. It is delicious, hot and timely. Great dessert selection too. Never disappoints.

Ignoring my score of the service- this is one of my personal favorite neighborhood restaurants. I go out of my way to eat here. Basically, a Mexican diner that's just dependably good and comfortable. The Mexican style coffee, Cafe de Oro (I think they can it?) is delicious and how my grandmother made it. The banana milkshakes, even just pancakes, everything is great and just Mexican styled. I'm absolutely biased- I want you to come here so my favorite Mexican diner keeps existing. As for service it's like- Cs get degrees. It's good enough.

I come here as often as I can when I am in the neighborhood. Their pan dulce and tortas are some of my favorites. The tres leches slice will make my worst day immediately better. And the vibes are so great for a mid day or late night bite with friends. I LOVE THIS DINER

A lovely little diner in Brooklyn! Came here after a late night dance event and had a MASSIVE milkshake and two great burritos for a very reasonable price. It also has a wide selection of baked goods that look delicious (we were stuffed from the burritos so we didn't get to try any!) Very family friendly vibe, but chill music and cute decor gives it a definite retro feel. And the service was lovely. Worth the walk if you're around!

The people are amazing. The food is delectable. You can’t beat it plus on top of that tab dinner breakfast luncheon dessert all everything that you could ever ask for in one restaurant you can’t beat it. I love this restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant in the whole neighborhood and that will never change. it is the only restaurant I know that has all organic materials that make up all their food. They make everything from scratch. They have a bar they have dessert. They have food. You can’t beat it and everything is fairly priced. Nothing is overpriced like a normal city it’s actually a restaurant that works with you to make sure that you have the best meal that you can get for a price that you can’t get nowhere else. I had a great time dining at Grand Morelos. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes and the dish did not let me down. The plate is packed with flavorful ingredients like beans, cream and cheese. The dish had a moderate amount of spiciness, quite enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. I’d be glad to return for chilaquiles again when I’m in the Williamsburg area.

I went every week for about a year but now I don't go. Times change, I guess. It's often not crowded and if you go a lot she remembers your order and doesn't ask why you always eat alone. She was always nice about letting me order weird off-menu combinations. Everything on one plate please. The French fries are excellent. Maybe I'll go again. They have a restroom.

Great small and quiet dinner. I have been making my way through the menu and have nothing to complain about. All the good I have gotten has been great, the workers are very nice and attentive with out being on top of you every 5 seconds. There's no rush for you to get done and get out so it's nice and comfortable if you like to eat slow and relax. I will say tho the food does not take 5 minutes to come out they take their time and the food quality benefits for it. But if your in a rush and have less then 45min-1hr I would recommend calling ahead for take out.

Had the pleasure of handling business with the establishment for years, however my most recent experience wasn’t satisfactory. A worker failed to spell a name that wasn’t difficult to decorate and ended up quite sloppy. I understand mistakes made made, but within the same interaction; I told her the correct spelling over three times beforehand. Overall, this experience has soured my confidence in relying this business for future birthdays and celebrations. :(

The service staff were so patient and kind with all the tired, sweaty, and impatient high students who came after high school play performance. Food was good but their kitchen struggled to prepare everything for 20 people so it ended up having some people waiting an hour for their food while others had theirs in 20 minutes. Otherwise, they would have 5 stars. Highly recommend if you are a group of 4-6 people.

Their homemade drinks were absolutely amazing. The pineapple mango was so good. The burrito I got was gigantic and so good. I didn't like the quesadillas at all but everything else was really good. My kids got their burgers they really liked them. The fries are amazing too

For as long as I can remember my family has purchased event cakes here. So many combos and design options. Raul is very nice and helpful. Would recommend. As for the food, it’s always great tasting but you can’t not rush quality, sometimes it can take a while which is why I can’t give them 5 stars.

Been here twice now. The current 4.1 average rating seems pretty accurate. The breakfast I got was pretty solid, no complaints at all. I came again for pozole (one of my favorite foods) - kinda disappointed. The broth wasn’t super flavorful, kinda felt like cafeteria food. I think I would come back again but something a bit more basic or for brunch. On that note, let me know if there’s a better pozole place you’d recommend. Music is great though - absolute bangers.

Food was good but then we recieved the check and the tip was included, we didn't mind it much but then we handed them our card and then when we got the receipt in order to sign it, they then added another fee called customer service fee. Like what? We were forced to pay a tip twice?

Soo I’ve been coming here for years, the bread is soo good, BEC sandwiches amazing, beefsteak sandwiches very good, however the scramble eggs and cheese side dish is very nasty. The sugar dounuts are good but the fried and eggs need lots of work and the pancakes are 5 out of 10.

I like this place a lot. The tortas are especially good and the green hot sauce is amazing. Really some of the better Mexican food in the city. Although sometimes the service is slow.So, I try to call in advance when I want something to go. The last time I called, they just hung up on me three times. Because of the close proximity, I regularly came here for the past two years, but I'm done. Just had a burger that tasted like pure salt. Awful. Their baked goods are very good, but the positive remarks end there. Grab a donut and get out of there. Food always cold, no matter what. Meat tastes off, like it's old or hasn't been seasoned. Rice and beans always, always cold. Have you ever seen a fajita skillet come out not making a sound? It's disturbing to say the least. And I'm pretty sure they're just microwaving the sauce when they make enchiladas. Cold! The servers seem put off any time someone comes into the restaurant. Oh, and they also like to sneak gratuity onto the check (for only two people). This place needs a major overhaul.

Let's talk about it. Had to grab lunch and decided to do this location. The service was great, warm and friendly waitresses. The kicker was the order I made. I ordered the burria. The burria was underwhelming. The beef wasn't seasoned nor sliced well. I told the owner I felt that it lacked cheese, and that was actually because everything concerning the burria was bland. He told me burria doesn't really come with a lot of cheese. Guess this was just a miss for me, but I've had a better burria, and that was from a food truck. Burria is a classic Mexican dish, I just wouldn't recommend doing it from here. Otherwise, everything else, service, was good

Just left there. The chicken soup was mediocre and there was a thin, small bone left in it. Then, I was surprised when the gratuity was added to the check. So, a bowl of chicken rice soup and a turkey burger came to $16. Upon offering a $20 bill as payment, I had to suffer the indignation of the waitress overtly scrutinizing the bill for seemingly forever. If you're going to do ghetto business, expect ghetto clientele. Pure garbage.

I've never left a review on a place before but I left so pissed that I just have to. The flautas were gross. Tasted like they warmed up some left overs. She didn't know if it came with white rice or yellow rice and didn't make an effort to find out. Service was terrible. I asked her for the wifi which I know is annoying but she said she didn't know then proceeded to tell us the password and then it was wrong. I totally get why she was rude because she auto-grated the $20 check. The only good thing about this place is that it's open late.

The owner of the restaurant is very rude, doesn’t know to treat customers. There was music playing in the restaurant at the time I went to order my food. While I was waiting on my order I was on very important call, out of no where the owner comes and tells me in a very rude way to lower the sound on my phone, I was very confused because I wasn’t playing music or anything on my phone I was on a call. I’ve been coming to grand Morelos for 5 years. They was ( in my opinion) the most authentic Mexican food spots in Brooklyn. However, my recent trip a lot has changed. The burritos was much smaller with a lackluster presentation. Meats was cold, service was terrible and to top it all off now they charge gratuity for 2 people!!!... terrible experience and I will never come back here again. They charge more for a appetizer than a main dish. Terrible, and very disappointed.

Absolutely terrible place to eat at. Foods overly cooked to the point it's as solid as floor tiles. You ask for a turkey burger and they give you a bread with meat? No lettuce, tomatoes, or cheese? I really hate it for doing but people better know that how restaurant make money. I bought few sugar donuts from there. That is a my favorite. This time , when i opened bag there was all burning non eatable donuts there. I really upset about this time because i when there for tell them it was not so happy to have and i talk to them they can not sale that kind food to customer. OMG! Even they did not say sorry. That is why i am here. How i can eat something there. They don't have right mind for food then how i can trust. They made a big mistake for making few dollars.

They some how turned a small plate of enchiladas into a $17 meal. They added all these extra fees. It's mediocre Mexican food. There's plenty of better meals for that price in that neighborhood. I would recommend going else where.

Okay so, this is a shame that I have to leave a bad review, especially growing up in the area and coming here since I was a little kid. I moved away and brought my parents here as a memory we cherished, just to find rude and disrespectful behavior. The guy in charge shouldn’t be working in this line of work because it’s obvious he has no idea on how to run a business, you don’t pick and choose who to be nice to because of their looks. A paying customer is paying customer regardless and needed in any business. Shame on you people!

We used to regularly dine in and order. However their cooking is inconsistent. They add in or leave out components, forget to give sauce, and serve sour juice. Then when you’re trying to complain, the manager serves egoist attitude instead of trying to make the sale right. Great place if you want food cooked and severed without a care.

I had 5 years that I was a loyal and faithful customer of this restaurant. During my entire pregnancy I wanted nothing more than to eat their delicious burritos, their unbeatable guacamole, and enjoy their wonderful service. They truly became like friends that you visit on a Friday night without calling and you know they would open the door and offer you the best food you could have. But after today, I will not longer go and eat at this place. The service is HORRIBLE! And the prices are WAY to expensive for what they are now serving. When I tell you that their burritos were insanely big- they were BIG! And now they are about the size of your palm, tasteless, and over priced. And they have the audacity to include what they believe should be the tip in the bill. They lost it completely. If I could rate it nothing, I surely would. They lost loyal customers- FOR GOOD.

Service is poor and too expensive. They charge for everything. Can you imagine, I was charged extra for a split bill; they take your money by imposing the "tip" themselves whether you like the service or not. I went with seven people and had to organize and set my own table. I was also treated like a bother. I was not able to get the attention of any attendants as the one attending us delayed. It was so bad, that I watched single or couples who came after my group being served or leaving. I ordered appetizers and got them with the course meal. The chicken wings were cold, cut in two, and considered whole. I would have been more satisfied if we went to a Chinese restaurant.

Went to Grand Morelos tonight with my girlfriend for dinner and after okay food and subpar service, saw 3 RATS in the restaurant. We didn't realize there was a rat until our waitress went to charge my card and saw the rat and screamed while dropping my card. 10 minutes went by while all the restaurant workers were trying to find an dispose of the rat. While waiting, we saw two more rats in the eating area by my table and my girlfriend screamed and ran. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to leave as the waiter had LOST my credit card. While waiting for them to find it, we expressed our concern with the rat situation and our food and the workers gave us attitude and said "everyone experiences this situation" and never even apologized. It took another 15 minutes for her to find my card and it turns out during the chaos of the rat situation, another customer had STOLEN my card. It wasn't until the customer left that they "discovered" my card. They still proceeded to charge us for all the food and included gratuity for us so we couldn't even tip accordingly. They offered no apology and didn't even try to comp our food or offer any reassurance about the cleanliness of the restaurant. I used to enjoy this place but after this service, I will not be returning. Truly unfortunate.

I've been coming to this restaurant for a very long time and had an encounter with the owner regarding me taking a couple of napkins. I am a paying customer and to be told not to take any napkins is absurd and uncalled for where I am spending money. The prices have also gone up and it seems their business has gone down drastically and worrying about me taking napkins should not be their concern and will now cause them to lose me as a customer.

If i could give this place zero stars i would. They are absolutely HORRIBLE with customer service. And whoever says otherwise probably doesn’t pay attention enough. My family and i are bilingual which is important when ordering from here as this is a Mexican establishment. We were trying to order for delivery from the phone and unfortunately they weren’t understanding the order. We asked for 3 -number 1 combos, one with chicken and carne asada no lettuce and guac, one with carne asada with no lettuce no guac, and lastly one with carne asada everything but guac. We didnt even get to the individual tostadas because they were constantly interrupting and asking to repeat. We knew it was a big order so we patiently continued to repeat the first three combos with the first woman. She couldn’t understand so she put another woman on the phone, we started from the beginning again both in spanish and english. Sadly she still didnt get it after numerous times. After They started to laugh and basically mock the fact that we were having this trouble. Finally they put another person on the phone, this time a man who also spoke english and spanish, so we were hoping he would get it. When i asked “would you like me to start from the beginning my love? Or do you have the combos down pack?” He responded very angrily “ you know what i cant take your order , your madness is disgusting and your disrespectful call someone else!” Then proceeded to hang up the phone. We tried calling again to resolve and he didnt let us speak was yelling and giving us the address like as if we’re supposed to go over there and confront them. It was extremely unprofessional and again he hung up. I dont believe that the customer is always right but in this case we were and it was so rude of him to do what he did. Ive ordered from here before and never have they said anything about me or my family’s attitude. They lost great customers and trust me for mediocre food (that got doesnt sit right) its not a lost to us, there’s way better for way cheaper and way better customer service. Good luck ordering from here if you do!

Im never coming here again! I've been coming here since i was in high school and the quality and sanitation has declined tremendously. The meat smelled old and my water had a dead roach in it. I thought maybe it was just me but others that ate with me said this was in fact a roach as well. On top of this my friend saw a big roach on one of the desserts while we were leaving....please do yourself a favor and skip this place if you can. This place should be shut down

Worst veg wrap in NY, and potentially the entire country. To make it worse, the price posted outside was $6.99, but I was charged over $10. Description says avocados, which sounded great! No avocados were in the wrap, and the veggies we're flavorless...as you can see in the pic, those are some flavorless tomatoes. This place may have other decent choices, but this was disgusting, and should be removed from the menu.
