Knapp Pizza II Brooklyn Reviews
Excellent neighborhood pizza that got big. Unlike many very good Brooklyn pizzas that " hole in the wall " they have a spacious dining room. Selection is very big, everything is fresh, service is fast. I have to say that all my experiences with them were for eating only I never tried delivery I never tried taking home.
I was in the area and was looking for a spot for lunch. I saw this pizzeria and my husband and myself decided to give it a try..BOY I'm glad we did.. My husband had a slice of the Grandma, which by the way had just came out of the oven and was sprinkled with fresh basil, and a cheese slice. I had a cheese slice and let me tell you the dough was delicious and the sauce was a perfect complement to the pizza. It was fresh and crunchy..And the cheese was so gooey...Needless to say I had to order another regular slice...Will definitely come back
One of the best spots for pizza. I've been turning people on to this spot since 2007. You have to try the bacon Alfredo slice. Everyone who's ever tried it hates me because you can't imitate anywhere. It's the perfect balance of Alfredo fresh mozzarella and bacon 😋. Forget L&B they can't come close to this place. If you see a line of construction workers you know you're in the right place.
We probably order from here too much. The food is always excellent. My favorite is getting the gnocchi with pesto sauce, and the vodka sauce Sicilian slice. Everything we’ve tried has been so good! This is definitely our go-to for great Italian takeout done right.
Love more and more. Original was always my go to but I'm not in Mill Basin anymore. This just does it for me comparatively. You know pizza is great when you want it with no extra toppings. Same for the rolls, garlic knots. ❤️
I have had good pizzas before, but sooner or later they lose what connected me to it. Except for Knapp Pizza, the one on Avenue X. They never let me down when it comes to good tasting pizzas.
Excellent neighborhood spot, been eating here over 15 years. Good pie, good chicken Parm. Great fresh pizza
The best pizza on this side of Brooklyn hands down and I’m not even a pizza lover
I’ve been a loyal customer at Knapp since 2006. Sadly I had to move away but I would always recommend this place at any day to my friends back home. Frankie is definitely a very well respected owner and treats all of his customers like family.
very nice place kids loved the pizza👍
Great spot for pizza with lots of choices. Easy In and out service or dine in with large seating area.
Probably all know the place is amazing food and staff etc but also the vibe in that store is dope check the lady by the cashier paying for a pizza cuz a homeless man was hungry she took the time to ask him how’s he doing and she hugged him and asked him are you hungry??? Stood up and went a head grabbing him food and she said’m order whatever you want it’s on me hun!!!
It's like going back 2 decades ago, the atmosphere is almost the right thing in my memory! The pizza, especially getting Brisk with it, feels like an experience. I love the service, it's really simple, and that's what I like ABOUT IT. 10/10
They prepared my salad in under 10 minutes when it was very busy. They work very fast. The Greek Salad with chicken was very delicious.
I usually order from this restaurant and get eggplant Parmesan it's actually really good and it's probably better than the one that I used to like closer by me. I'm not a fan of their pasta but it's a pizza spot so I'm pleasantly surprised how good their eggplant parm is and would definitely recommend getting food from this restaurant.
Underrated pizza place for sure. Probably has the best buffalo chicken slice in all of the 5 boroughs.
I ordered two slices of pizza, and they turned out to be really spicy. I didn’t think to ask beforehand, so that was on me. I gave it a try but couldn’t handle the heat, so I went back five minutes later to order something else. The man at the counter asked if everything was okay, and I explained that the pizza was just too spicy for me and I wanted something milder. To my surprise, they didn’t even charge me for the new slice! The pizza here is always delicious, and this experience just made me love this place even more. Great food and even better customer service
I've probably had several thousand slices of pizza in my life and without a doubt their grandma slice is one of my favorite slices in all of America. Even with the famous competitor Spumoni Gardens a few blocks away this will always be where my money ends up. It's not a flashy spot but the pizza is top notch !
Good place, though it used to be better. Their seafood salad used to be different with calamari, shrimps, clams, and celery. Now, half of these are missing and it's more a regular salad with grass dominating the rest of the items. The pizza is still good though and we keep returning.
It's a pizzeria..I really love all the pizza here. I try to stop in at least once a year.. The pizza has a nice dough to it. Not like the authentic thin crust Italian. Really not my favorite style of pizza. Today I tried a handmade panini sandwich; although it was divergent from my normal buffalo chicken slice, it was pretty good. They have a large variety of pizza. I think there is enough variety to meet almost anyone's needs. If you're heavily into veggies, they have a slice that looks amazing.. I've never tried so, I can't vouch for it. The decor is basic, but open and friendly.. if you happen to be in the coney Island avenue x area, I would definitely give it a try.
This place always has a good selection of topping heavy pizzas that you can get by the slice. They definitely have some creative topping combinations, some of which I don't think work at all but there are enough choices for you to find your niche. I recommend the bacon alfredo pizza. Staff have always been friendly and there is plenty of self seating if dining in.
I was hungry after getting signatures for my friend Steven Patzer who's running for City Council leader in my area. I was closer to Knapp Pizza II and could have easily driven 5 minutes more to get pizza at L&B. However, I wanted to try a new pizzeria that I never visited before. Inside, they had several pizza choices. I opted for the fresh mozzarella slice. When they heated it up for me, the worker threw on a bunch of freshly chopped basil leaves all over my slices. I had never seen this done before. I notice that they did the same for another customer, so this seemed to be the usual procedure they do when serving pizza. As I was eating my slice, the combination of fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella, crust, AND sweet basil made for a great taste experience in my mouth. While there are a number of excellent pizzerias scattered throughout Brooklyn, Knapp Pizza II's addition of chopped fresh basil made their pizza stand out above the rest. Even though I live about 15 minutes away in Bath Beach, this pizzeria is now on my radar.
The pizza for the most part is good. When ordering pizza we always get it from this place. On occasion we do have some issues with either the sauce or the crust. It seems like the quality depends on the chef making it. But overall good pizza, when the chef is in the mood ;).
Pizza is good. Grandma's pizza is really good. Prices are high and the slices aren't so big. I like this place with the outdoor seating area but parking is hard to find. The hero-sandwiches don't fill me up and I usually just eat 1/2 a sandwich. It's okay by me. Staff is cordial and bathroom isn't always the cleanest. Plenty of condiments on the table with napkins.
Most of the time the pizza is good, but occasionally, and more frequently than I would think is just coincidence, the food quality has been atrocious. Gotten mild food poisoning twice from here, and twice as well has the crust of my pizza smelled and tasted really weird, like this odd and awful combination of coal, ash, and burned flour, as if the inside of the oven fused with my slice. Moreover, multiple times has the pizza just been old and depressing. Realistically, your best bet is to get a whole pizza all the time every time, or order slices when there is no pizza ready for your order.
Not sure what happened to this place, but the service and food went down the drain. We have been placing orders with Knapp Pizza II for the past probably 10 years and past few month the experience really went down from what it was before. Last time (last week), we placed an order, waited for an hour and a half, and it was never delivered. When I called in to see what was going on, they said we are preparing your order now and it will be delivered In 40 minutes. I canceled my order because I was not waiting for another 40 minutes to get the food. So 2 hours for delivery its a little too much. Also, every time food gets delivered cold, and I'm always questioning if there is an issues with the delivery bags or it just because they have so many deliveries and my delivery comes last and it's cold. So, we are no longer a patrons of Knapp Pizza II and honestly, I will never recommend this place to anyone again.
I asked for 2 slices. Two minutes later I asked how long will it take. The guy went crazy. "I know how long to cook it. I'm taking care of it." He didn't stop. I said please don't take it personally and he wouldn't let up. Wow. Decent pizza but in no hurry to go back.
I ordered food because I injured my back and couldn’t cook. The food arrived cold and the pasta I ordered was extremely oily; in fact the oil leaked out into the bag where the bread was put in loose and now that was full of oil. I ordered a bottle of diet Cherry Pepsi, but instead received a bottle of regular Pepsi. The food was pretty good, although I had to heat everything up. Really disappointed.
Pricey pizzas for the location. We got the Grandma and Chicken Marsala pizzas, baked clams and Bruschetta. Both pizzas are alright. The baked clams was the saddest I’ve ever seen lol (see photo), they didn’t toast the baguette well enough so the bruschettas were soggy by the time we got home. The pizzeria is only 3 mins walk from my house.
I have never had an issue ordering in the past however recently they started writing in tip amount and they write it out in black sharpie. I find that to be incredibly rude and unfair to anyone who may not be able to even afford to spend the extra money. I don't always have time to cook before I leave my home and at times I have to order in. I would have no problem tipping and since its optional I shouldn't feel pressed into it. I can understand if it were apart of the bill but it isn't. I asked everyone who works in the front of the store and besides that, if tip is apart of their menu then it needs to be written on all platforms they serve their food on including their in house menu. Whenever I receive the delivery at my apartment I ask the delivery person and they pretend they do not understand me. I order both on seamless and their website and tip is NOT including in their bill. The food quality is horrible nowadays. The only time you can expect good service/food is if you go in person and talk to the Italian gentleman who works up front in the pizzeria section.
Pizza normally is great and I have been ordering / eating pizza from them in store for a few years with hardly any issues. However the service and the customer service lately is disappointing! Aside from a couple of times giving me the wrong items in my order such as wrong soda which is whatever, we still drank it. Im not going to have them redeliver a soda that wasn't the one I wanted. This time I had a different issue. I had a credit to use from a previous order item not being delivered. It seems that a refund at that time was more difficult since the guy kept going around about it, I felt bad so I accepted the future small credit. That was my fault for having a wrong number put on the site anyway. I completely understood and accepted the credit from them not being able to contact me to let me know that the item was not available. I was told to put in notes about me having a small credit and they would take care of it. Going forward to yesterday which is a few weeks after that incident I made a large pie order and put in notes about the small credit from a previous order. I noticed on the receipt I was charged the normal rate and no credit was given. I called to ask about this to see whats going on and the girl on the phone was so nasty and dismissive that she said it only works calling to the store. She didnt even let me explain and her tone was very unpleasant that I decided to just give up. As much as they have a good variety of pizza the customer service is a complete turn off that it is not worth giving them my business anymore.
Pizza is great; my family and I got a variety of slices... BUT, I felt so judged by everyone in there. It was VERY uncomfortable. I'll admit, I'm not a local to the area, and I was definitely made aware of it with deadly eyes... I don't think you should ever go to any establishment and feel this way.. otherwise I'd have given it 4 stars.
Pizza arrives an hour and 20 minutes after it was ordered, cold, salted like the earth of your enemies. This is when ordering delivery. Went into the store once and saw staff collectively completely ignore a blind man who asked for a slice several times. That was really unpleasant.
On two consecutive occasions I walked out after standing at the counter almost 5 minutes patiently waiting for service. Both times I was ignored. The second time it seemed they were handling a big order. I should at least be acknowledged. I also witnessed the woman being nasty to the worker, snapping “Hurry Up”. That’s when I walked out. Aside from all that, the pizza is so-so.
I didn't even know that the ownership changed hands until I read these reviews. The pizza is just not the same. It seems like they took the San Marzano tomatoes out of the sauce to save money (not that you'll save any money). It's too tangy now and does not taste homemade; that is something you just can't fake. Pizza has so few ingredients that as soon as you change one thing, you affect everything; it's a delicate balance. The dough was also too tough. Sorry Knapp Pizza II, you can't fake quality.
I ordered online and from past orders they always take longer to make so I went to pick it up after half an hour. When I arrived at the restaurant they didn't even start making the order because they never put it in. I ended up waiting another 20 mins for them to put in the order and make it. Why bother having online ordering if they're not going to check it. Not even an apology from the staff for the delay. The counter staff is good and fast if you're walking in. But if you're ordering online, good luck. This is just one of multiple bad experiences ordering online from them.
Knapp Pizza II. What can one say about this run of the mill pizza parlor. It's doable for people who live in the neighborhood, but it's not a place one should go out of their way for. Now everyone has their opinions and that is fine. Some will swear by this pizza parlor and some will not. You are your own judge. Me, it's doable. For starters when you go to the counter and order a slice, well when you are then asked "A slice of what?" expectancies shrink. The slices with the toppings are too big and too packed for starters so no I wouldn't eat something that gargantuan. How was the round slice? Too thin and too floppy. Oddly the cheese did not fall off. Old school pizza parlors you knew the slice was edible when it was oily, flopped a tad, had a decent fold and the cheese fell off. This slice was a oily and again was a floppy mess. It was average. Reasonable amount of sauce and the sauce was delicious. In my opinion, 5.8. It's a neighborhood spot that does it job, but again I wouldn't go out of my way for a slice. That's if the person at the register knows a slice of what haha.
Maybe other slices are better but I got a salad slice recently and it was awful. Dressing wasn’t that good and the slice was thin and over cooked. It was salad on burnt melba toast. Folded it to take a bite and the entire thing crumbled into pieces and the toppings completely fell off. Waste of $5
Don’t get delivery from this place. We got our pizza and all the toppings had slid to one side. The salad had pickled cauliflower that had spots of black mold on it and there was a hair mixed in. We called to tell them the pizza was a mess and they just said “ok”. Lol. It was totally not ok. Never getting take out from here again.
I’m so disappointed by this place and the people who work there.they don’t care about what they making, forgot that itis food and people eat it otherwise they would not send rotten, plastic chicken on pizza or burnt, overcooked pizza that you get food poisoning the next day,the worst part when you calling to find out they just reply “ ok”,”Well what can I do,you ate it already”! I wish I could see how they eat their spoiled, stinky pizza and pay for It from their hard earned money.
Ordered large pepperoni with extra cheese yesterday on the phone. Once I arrived i noticed anyone was allowed in and no markings or signs about social distancing. One guy behind the counter that ended up helping us, had his mask covering only his mouth. Another guy had mask on not even covering the mouth. It was on his chin. A girl that answered when I asked about cannoli didn’t have a mask on. She put the cream in the shell and packaged the cannoli with no mask on. My sister in law asked the guy that was helping me (older guy, thin, dark hair, mustache) for garlic knots, I then jumped in and said add another 2 ordered so we want 3. He put them in the oven and jumped to help someone else as if we were done. We wanted to order more along with the large pie. We didn’t. I noticed he gave one of our garlic knots order to someone else. When he took the two orders of Garlic knots out, he then took the 3rd one from the lower oven where he had initially the other person’s order that he gave out knots to. There was no thank you no courtesy nothing. When we got home the pizza was cold since while we were ordering other stuff he didn’t leave pizza on top of the stove. The garlic knots were cold and soggy. So soggy that when you touched them oil would fall out. I live on w6 and ave u so I’m not that far to say that’s why everything was cold. There was barely any pepperoni on the pie. Did I mention their cannoli was either 4.25 or 4.75 and when I said wow she dropped the price to 4? Fortunately since my aunt likes this place and she requested it for her birthday, she was so excited to have the pizza , she didn’t notice anything wrong. I didn’t brother telling her all that we experienced not to ruin her birthday. Thanks for reminding me of why I never go to this pizzeria. Next year if my aunt is still alive (has cancer) I will make sure to convince her that we use a different place for food.
You'll wait 10 minutes to order one slice of pizza, JIST TO ORDER! Then they finally put your pizza in the over and you gotta wait for that. Then you gotta wait to pay. Great pizzas! But I'm done coming here.
They men here are very rude. They wasn’t open so I try to ask what time they would be open no one answered me but as soon as someone ask them in Spanish they answered her so rude I felt so disrespected. When they finally opened my client ordered food I didn’t I wouldn’t spend a penny here they need to learn to treat everyone with respect
Where do I begin... I have been ordering pizza from Knapp Pizza for years prior too and post pandemic to support local business and workers but yesterday was the day that sealed the deal for me, I will never set foot in this place again or order from them. Reason #1 the workers have an I do not care attitude about handling food safely. I observed everyone handling food with bare hands also handling money. Reason #2 I asked one of the workers for parmesan cheese and carried over the empty glass jar container for him to refill and guess what he did ? He takes the jar and dunks it into the bag of parmesan cheese to scoop the cheese into it without thinking of the many dirty hands that have touched this jar throughout the day. When I bought it to his attention he copped an attitude and said people touch everything...I was like yes all the more reason not to do what he just did. These are the main reasons I will not eat from them again talk about food poisoning this is the place to gamble your chances of getting sick. What a shame...
Lady who claimed to be the manager screamed at me and didn’t want to listen . Very baaaaaad customer service. The order was messed up. I asked to put chicken on one side of the pizza, but instead received the whole pie with it. After sending a picture as a proof she still said there was nothing wrong with the pizza even though there were clearly peaces of chicken on the vegan side. What kind of service is that?! What if I’m allergic to chicken?! What then? Don’t order from them, because If they your made order wrong they will scream at you like it’s your fault instead of apologizing.
I ordered 350 dollars worth of food for my sons party and Jessica who took my order was very nasty and had an attitude while taking my order and didn’t follow my directions first I told her no cheese on a gluten free personal because it was an allergy and she still sent it with cheese and when I called to let her know instead of saying sorry she tells me mistakes happen which how can you say that when someone is allergic and could of had a bad reaction also she sent a tray of dry wings with no sauce and sent 2 trays of salad with no dressing at all really unacceptable maybe if she didn’t have an attitude the whole time and was listening she would of gotten the order right
I’m not happy I’m writing this review because I really liked this pizza place. I ordered the Arugula Pie and it came with expired and bad Arugula (literally yellow arugula with black spots) I called the pizza place and they said they wouldn’t send me a new one because they didn’t have fresh arugula (or at least not gone bad). Their arugula pie used to be amazing maybe this is some kind of new management.
Cannot begin to say how disappointed we are after ordering from here. Ordered an eggplant roll, a spinach roll, a grandma slice and grilled chicken. Received a meatball roll, pepperoni roll and a regular square. The only thing that was correct was the grilled chicken, which looked like it was sitting out for days. We called, assuming it would be remedied immediately. Ready for this? They said it’s impossible that we got a meatball roll bc they don’t make them. IT’S ON THE MENU! And to make matters worse, they made us take a pic of the roll to prove it was meat! After 20 minutes of arguing, they said if we were willing to drive there they’d replace the meal. Never again!
Spent closely to $65 on Grubhub to find out the pizza slices were beyond cold and stale, the pasta was beyond nasty to even attempt to eat. They forgot one of my slices and gave me attitude when trying to figure it out, claiming they can only give credit until finally coming to an understanding for a refund. What happened to this place it used to be so good now it’s just another trashy gravesend pizza joint.
Nasty rude staff, the woman who answers the phone literally yells at you. Sorry that you work at a 2 star pizza place and have a miserable existence. Never get from here and never will again. The slices at a dollar pizzeria taste better. This place does not have the quality to be that rude. Came to pick up my order she only thn puts in as I walk in. All this fuss just to get cardboard tasting pizza.
Order the “special pizza” it really was special. I enjoyed the first slice after one bite of the second slice I found a small black piece of plastic that scraped the inside of my mouth. To whomever orders from here please be cautious that you might end up with bloody gums instead of enjoying your dinner. Also the knots were really greasy butter knots instead of Garlic knots.
We ordered 2 times , first time they delivered very late, second time they didnt delivery becaus of long waiting more than 2 hours When we called to ask about delivey they were vere rude on the phone Never will order again , not recommended
Well. Last time I was here was 5 years ago and was coming almost every other day to eat in . Pizza was Delicious! Now food changed in a bad way. Ordered slice of Ceasar pizza today and i got few, literally few pieces of chicken and a lot of salad. Sorry never going back. This place is changed.... 5 dolars for piece of bread and salad?
pizza was garbage…. threw it out. looked like it was in a shelf all day and was not even heated up. Disgusting. Where do these restaurants get the nerve to send out trash as food. reported to grub hub and getting a $23 refund. Will not order from Knapp Street pizza 2 again. Shame shame. eve the carb loving dog would not eat this trash. wish i could attach the picture.
Been going to knapp for 30 years. I don’t know how many times this place has changed hands. If you’re from the area… you already know what I’m talking about. Pizza is horrible.
Pizza arrived cold and even after warming it up, it wasn't very good. Delivery driver was incredibly kind but apparently he wasn't told to bring change... How do you send your delivery drivers out without change? Makes no sense. There are much better places to order from in the Gravesend/Sheepshead Bay area. Very disappointing.
the pizza is great but the cashiers don’t even hear me when i ask about my slice i ordered when they do they haven’t even put it in the oven
Ordered my food at 12:14 pm, received email saying my food will be here 12:54 pm. Than 12:54 pm turned into 1:06 pm, application kept sending new ETA for delivery, latest being 1:26 pm. I called the pizzeria at 1:04 pm to find out ETA on my food. As soon as the guy picked up he put me on hold, sat on hold for 6 minutes after which he hanged up on me. Called 2nd time a nice lady picked up, she said just walked in this was at 1:11 pm. She said my food is ready and she is waiting for delivery driver. Currently its been over 2 hours and my location is 1.5 miles away from pizzeria. It says 10 minutes in a car. This will be the last time ordering here. My food was ready at 1:11 pm and an hour later i still haven't received my delivery I'm sure it will be hot and fresh when it shows up. Thank you dear owner of Knapp 2 Pizzeria your service sucks.
Have been coming here for years, the pizza is usually delicious. My complaint is about the service. Some workers are consistently rude and i see no one correcting them. One man that usually fills up the orders next to the pizza oven and wears a black cap is so ignorant and he’s been like that consistently. One example: Today i came in ti get a slice of pizza, i was waiting for him to pay attention and i gave him time because he was busy. What he usually does is while doing the work, he doesn’t look at you and mumbles something like “yes” and keeps working. Today i did not hear anything so i kept waiting. Next customer walks in orders chicken panini so he took care of him and put it in that little press to warm it up. Then one of the girls that takes phone orders walks up and asks me “did you order?”. I said, “No”. and she said “you’ve been waiting all this time?”. So she took care of me and acknowledged that the man is rude.. I appreciate that!.. Thank you! He may do his job well and make good pizza but if his rudeness and ignorance will keep customers from coming back and the owner cares less then fine. I’m going to give it another chance but i’ll wait for another worker to serve me. Btw, after the girl took care of me, i tried to talk to the man but he kept being ignorant and rude.. He told me that he was ready for me but i did not listen to him…so i tried to explain to him but he mumbles something and walked away. Well, for sure i did not because he needs to learn to acknowledge customers, look up and not down like a little boy when talking to people. If he doesn’t want to deal with people then he should find another job.
I’ve been coming to KNAPP’s Pizza for almost 10 years because its the only pizza shop in my area. The pizza isnt the greatest but it’ll do. But the customer service? Absolutely TERRIBLE. It has been terrible for way too long now, i dont know when these reviews will wake up the management, its been going on for too long. Theres absolutely no need to be rude and disrespectful to your customers when they are ordering food. I called in to place an order for FOUR LARGE pies, i was put in hold multiples times for 5 minutes. The nasty girl on the phone could not keep her tone at a respectful manner throughout the phone call. And its NOT the first time i had to deal with her. either get her off the phone and put somebody else or dont have a phone service at all. Reading other peoples comments and seeing how everybody is also dealing with the girl on the phone, management has still not done anything about her all these years. No matter what you order, two slices, a full pie, or anything in between they always take way too long. The staff is consistently rude, unorganized, and are ALWAYS annoyed to even be working. I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt so many times, but the service never improves. It’s frustrating because the food is good, but the experience is always ruined by how they treat customers. If they could fix their attitude and efficiency, this place would be great.
They are rude, with no sense of common welcoming, for a business. I am surprised they are still open a lot more good pizza places better than this one. I bought a spinach roll, and it was spoiled, I tried to tell them about it, and they ignored me. Money wasted
I just ordered a pizza pie, i waited about 45 minutes (i live in the neighborhood) and my pizza pie was completely cold, this is the second time this has happened. I called them & and said they were short on drivers. Completely cold.. second time this has happened. Be aware if you are ordering.
I ordered the vegetable pan pizza through Uber eats and it literally came without cheese. I called them and they said that’s how it comes and I must pay additional for cheese. So I paid 26 dollars for a pizza with sauce and vegetables. They didn’t even offer any solution to fix it. I asked if I can come in and get a new vegetable pizza with cheese and she said you can come in bring the pizza you got and we’ll throw mozzarella cheese on it but it’ll be extra charge. Why would I drive there so they can throw mozzarella cheese over the toppings. Also the vegetable pan pizza description did not say no mozzarella cheese. Looking back at the menu the regular vegetable pizza does say no mozzarella cheese so why wouldn’t they put that in the description for the pan vegetable pizza so people know it doesn’t come with mozzarella cheese?! Absolutely horrible experience and bad customer service!
The other day I was literally starving and I was like just let me grab a slice of pizza and it was the worst decision I ever made! I think this place is the worst pizza I’ve ever had! Floppy, barely any sauce or cheese. I live in the neighborhood so I was hoping the pizza was good but was so dissapointed.
Utterly disgusted. Placed an order for delivery and this is the bread that was sent? How many weeks has this been sittin in storage ? And this is just one complaint of many. The morning pizza seems to always be old pizza from the day before . They never send out deliveries with forks or napkins. Bread is cold and dry half the time. Like seriously ? Surely won't be ordering here anymore. Plus dirt like poop looking substance in salad.
When they tell you 2 minutes... and they turn into 30..... and simply because they need to talk to everyone.... and you're waiting for your order inside, front of all stuff !!! But the most offensive thing is that this is not the first time, and not even the second time !!!!!
*Update 2024* Unfortunately, it looks like this place is under new ownership and the quality is absolute garage now.. They don't have any of the gourmet slices like before, just typical generic pizza.. Very unfortunate, they should change the name not to confuse people. Original Review: My favorite pizza in Brooklyn. Knapp Pizza II has been around since the early 2000's, never been disappointed with the food quality or service. I was visiting Brooklyn recently and stopped by after 12 years and it was just like I remembered. The Mona Lisa slice (my fav) was amazing! They did change the interior theme from years ago, more plain now, I'd love to see the blue/venice vibe back ;) I definitely recommend this Pizzeria.
When we go in person the food is great when order food for delivery the food is ice cold. All my food is ice cold. What is the problem with the delivery service not enough delivery people?? Quite Fustrating. Take off the charge while okay. Now I got to heat up my food again.
I would love to continue eating here however you continue to put me on hold and never pick up my phone call. Guess dinner somewhere else tonight
3 strike rule with me. I went there and ordered a few pies and they took a bit long but whatever so big deal if I ordered like 10 pies but I’m there watching them pack my pizza in the boxes and one of the pies was messed up because of how it was made. The pie looked like someone took a bite out of it which hey again no big deal because no establishment in their right mind will sell you a messed up pie…. Well they tried it and I told the guy to get me another one I’m not taking that one. Now to think I should have learned my lesson from that one move, I got hungry a few weeks after and ordered 2 pies. Guy brings me the pizza ice cold. Calling the restaurant doesn’t help because at the end of the day who are you to complain. Now fast forward a few months now and my wife says hey give them another chance they’re not that bad. Here I am once again giving them another chance… it’s been 2 hours since I ordered 1 pie and it’s still not here. I also live like 5 minutes away so I don’t understand why it takes this long. Yes I can get up and get it myself but my point is if I order a pie for delivery it shouldn’t take 2 hours… and I’m still waiting
i ordered a mushrooms onions pizza directly from their website . when i arrived for my order , they said there was no order and the girl had a nasty attitude. so i had to wait 30 mins for my pizza . which was not the greatest. the cashier was grabbing money w her bare hands no gloves no nothing n then proceeds to cut and grab the pizza digging her long nails in the pizza with the same hand she grab the money
DISGUSTING!!! We are regular customers at this place, but this is INSANE! They delivered not fresh, old, dead chicken panini! And when I called and calmly asked about it they guy said “ok, what you want me to do about it?”such a disrespectful, disgusting service he gave me! Will NEVER order from this place!!!!
We ordered Gran Ma pie for the delivery. The delivery took way longer than it was showing on their website, but this is not the most disappointment. They delivered burnt pie. The taste of pizza was awful. The marinara on top had no taste at all. We will never ever order from this place or stop by for a slice. This is ridiculous !!!!
Mann this is consistently the most saltiest thing I ever tested besides salt itself. Every sliced I ever tried from this place is abused with salt to where I can’t taste the pizza. And theres never any sauce on the pizza they just spread the oil around thats it, never. Mediocre.
Ordered and two hours later it still hadn’t arrived and had to cancel the order. Girl screams on the phone like an animal just like all the reviewers complained about. Terrible customer service and girl answering the phone needs to be replaced by someone who isn’t yelling and giving an attitude.
Burnt pizza with nothing ordered on it, not enough sauce, dry.Galic knots two portions did not include any sauce. After we called them to find out the reasons, we were told that we allegedly did not pay extra for everything that was needed, although the order did not say anything about any additional payment and we paid the full amount through Uber eats. We ordered earlier and they did not say anything about any additional payment, but today for some reason we received an incomplete order and it was burnt. A disgusting experience and disgusting service.
Terrible rude and disrespectful. Got all my order wrong and still acted mean and rude. The lady on the phone practically yelled at me not letting me speak and at the end just lashed out by saying : you have a night you deserve. Stay Humble , eh? Or no one will ever buy anything from you.
