L'Arte della Pizza Brooklyn Reviews
My go-to pizza takeout. Amazing pizza, amazing service. The sauce is out of this world.
I ordered takeout today. When I crave Italian, L'Arte Della Pizza in Park Slope is my go to place. I enjoy their thin-crusted pizza and their salads are delicious with a well-blended oil & vinegar dressing. Another favorite is their chicken marmalade. Correction to "chicken marmalade". I meant chicken marsala but Spellcheck changed it to "marmalade".
Order thru Uber Eats all the time. It’s delicious consistent pizza. Great sauce, great cheese, nice crispy crust. It’s a solid pizza place.
Decent pizza. I haven't tried all their styles, only the pizza rotunda (aka Roman style - round). It's nice to have a crunch with the slice. The crust is a little hard to describe but it's not the the light and chewy type of crust. I would say it's a little on the firmer (breadier?) side but the sauce does soak some times. It passes the fold test. I've had their regular cheese ($14 cash deal for a large pie on Tuesdays) and their burrata round. I could be wrong but it feels like they have different sauces for their various pies. The sauce on the burrata is flavorful (tangy and a bit on the sweet side) and just the right amount of thick/chunkiness to taste the tomatoes. Will check out their Sicilian and Romana in Teglia style pies at some point.
I like this place, really good slice, and really friendly guys working here. The crust is light and has the right amount of crisp. Good sauce on the margarita, and they give you your pizza properly hot (essential). I definitely would recommend it over Artichoke down the street (which has gone down hill lately). The regular slice here (“Brooklyn style”) is $3.75, so maybe on the pricey side or maybe that’s just what pizza’s going for these days!
This has been one of my best experiences ever. Starting from Ricardo, an amazingly delightful pizza chef to his loyal staff. They have gone out of their way to make our event at the Barclay's center a success. The day was a success for all of us and the players loved it. I was amazzed at the manner they executed such a large order. The pizza and food was well prepared and good throughout. The unique and delicious Roman style pizza was a success. Thank you
such incredible pizza- i was honestly shocked at how good it was. it doesn’t LOOK the best, but the crust is truly unmatched… it’s so light, airy, and crispy. it’s the perfect amount of chew to it. the sauce is on the heavy side, but it’s very delicious- a little tangy, and not too sweet. there wasn’t a lot of cheese, which is the way i prefer it. the mozz was high quality and not gluey- we only had the margerhita slice but i want to try the other slices, especially the square slices.
My family is from the South and let me just say, I have NEVER had pizza this good in my life. We drove all throughout Brooklyn looking for pizza places and L’Arte dell Pizza made the best pizza I’ve ever had by far. I highly recommend the Brooklyn style pizzas and their Magheritas. Their pizza made our entire vacation!
Yes! Awesome and authentic. The perfect crisp crust. Delicate balance of tomato sauce, cheese and toppings on the abruzzese. Only one small not: with just a touch of additional salt, the flavors just popped. Also, while not traditional and authentic, but still incredibly delicious, the chicken parm calzone was awesome. It travelled better than the pizza. There is a little extra dough on the ends, but that’s what you expect from a calzone. Bravo!
I ordered a quick dinner from this place through Uber Eats, and unfortunately the experience was pretty disappointing. Whether it was because it was late at night or the delivery took too long, the pizza arrived cold and tasted old. I ordered three slices — a pepperoni, a salami, and a square slice topped with spicy salami, burrata, and basil — and none of them were good. The crust on the square slice was especially bad, almost stale, and nothing tasted fresh. Definitely not the kind of pizza you’d expect in Brooklyn. I also added a plain cannoli to the order, but that wasn’t great either. The shell was soggy, and the filling didn’t have much flavor. Overall, the quality felt careless and far below what I expected. Pretty disappointing experience.
The pizza was delicious except that the margarita did not come with fresh basil. I find this a major shortcoming, and kind of expect some fresh basil when I order a margarita pizza.
