Limosneros Brooklyn Reviews
The food here is great and they’re not stingy on portions either! The servers maintain a great attitude and work ethic even when the place is crowded and overrun. Biiiiiiiig thanks to Jesus for being so kind and making sure our orders weren’t forgotten about! There’s a friendly and cozy atmosphere here as well which is amazing.
This place was unbelievable. For the price and the quality of the food. We did all you can eat tacos on a Wednesday evening like 6pm in January so wasn’t packed busy but still many tables. We received excellent service, always ready to put in our next order. All the tacos were so fresh and hot and FULL of meat! We couldn’t get enough. We will certainly be back!
Our dining experience at Limosneros was truly made exceptional by our waiter, Albert. From the moment we were seated, Albert was professional, warm, and highly attentive. He struck the perfect balance of being available when needed without hovering, ensuring our meal progressed smoothly and comfortably. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering fantastic, spot-on recommendations for both the entrées and the wine list. When we had a specific request regarding an allergy, he handled it with efficiency and care, giving us complete confidence in our order. Albert’s positive attitude and genuine dedication to service truly elevate the dining experience. He is a credit to the team, and we highly recommend requesting his section. Thank you, Albert, for a wonderful evening!
Great place to go after work for a drink! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. The customer service is truly amazing. The staff always go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for friendly faces and great vibes!
This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant! The service was fast, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The food was bursting with authentic flavor—every bite tasted fresh and homemade. The margaritas and cocktails were excellent, perfectly balanced and refreshing. Cynthia was attentive, welcoming, and really added to the experience. A wonderful spot for great food, drinks, and atmosphere—I can’t wait to come back!
I had an amazing experience for my first time here. The waiter was nice and patient and recommended us dishes and drinks. Their cocktails are good in my opinion and their tacos made with corn tortillas are bomb ! This is definitely one of my new favorite spots ! Staff is nice, food is good and drinks as well! Tip is included but it is worth it. I’ve been back to this place like 5 times already in a month :)
This place was A1. From the drinks to the service. The fajitas were great, and the wings (bbq and hot sauce)were great. We went on a Friday so there were specials. The wings were $10 for 6. The sangria was fresh, which was $7. The steak burrito my son had was really good. My daughter loved her carne Asada tacos as well. Thanks for the amazing service. The music was on point as well 💯❤️🔥
We had a great bottomless brunch at Limosneros. The food was plentiful and delicious and the drinks were tasty and strong. For $30/person you get an entree and bottomless mimosas/sangria or $41/person to include margaritas too. It was nice to mix and match drinks throughout too. It wasn’t very busy and the staff were generous in providing our group pitchers of the drinks to pour at our own pace. Would definitely recommend brunch here!
First time here and it was a great experience. Made reservations online and was seated immediately. Our waiter Edison was super helpful, attentive, and friendly. He really provided excellent service! Food was delicious and drinks were absolutely amazing. Will definitely be coming back!
Came for $25 tacos around 6PM Tuesday. I was seated immediately. Service was very attentive and nice. The first serving is 4 tacos per person. You can choose one flavor per person per round. I tried the Birria and the Chicken. The Birria tacos were pretty dang good. Solid amount of cheese and generous portion of meat. The consome was average. The Birria tacos were nice and crispy but they did get soggy by the time all the juices from the meat and consome got into it. The chicken was a marinated pulled chicken taco. I prefer grilled chicken tacos so I didn't like this one as much. The tacos got pretty soggy/wet which is not my preferred type of taco. The red salsa is spicy which I appreciated although it didn't have as much flavor as I'd like. The tacos were great so I easily finished mine but beware if you have "excessive" waste they charge $20-$25. The atmosphere is actually really solid. Not too loud not too quiet. Not too bright not too dim. Overall: fantastic deal for $25 and I will be back for sure.
I checked out this taco spot last night with my brother for their $20 unlimited tacos, and honestly it was worth every penny. The tacos were delicious, especially the El Pastor and the Birria, which cost $5 more but were totally worth it. We must’ve eaten around 20 tacos each just to get our money’s worth, haha. The only downside was the service—there were only two guys working in a small space, so it was surprisingly hard to get their attention. Also, they have a full menu but didn’t let me order from it. I wanted dessert after seeing a lady eating one, but the waiter told me she could have it because she’s the boss, which didn’t seem fair. If you sell dessert, customers should be able to order it. Besides that, the food itself was excellent, and I’ll definitely be returning for another Taco Tuesday.
One might consider it a "small" restaurant, but it's potent for sure. The atmosphere was great; the music wasn't too loud, so you were actually able to have a conversation without needing to shout. The food was delicious! I definitely recommend the birria pizza. My partner kept raving about it. Our waiter was super friendly and even let us request a song! He also recommended a drink, which did not disappoint. I would recommend this place for a nice date night or dinner with friends :)
First the food was delicious, I had the al pastor tacos and they were great. I had the appetizers, esquite and guacamole which were good as well. However, there’s no AC here and sitting in the back was good since there was shade and a slight breeze. My biggest issue was that even though we were seated at 4:45 (there’s a 90 min limit for bottomless brunch), when our waiter gave us the last drinks instead of a pitcher it was a carafe. This was an issue because we initially got our first drinks at 5:00. If we would’ve gotten the regular pitcher I wouldn’t have complained, they even said it was a “courtesy” to us since we received the carafe. However the server sympathized with us and gave us some shots which was appreciated. So this moved my review from 3 stars to 4 stars.
I came here because I saw the unlimited tacos sign outside. The food was okay. They put a lot of the traditional toppings on it so they did go all out, but the amount of meat in each taco was very small. It felt like someone was telling me to go on diet. Also there was lots of hidden costs on the final bill. The sign said $20 for unlimited tacos, which is apparently for 90 minutes and you order the food in rounds, getting 4 tacos each time. However, if you want birria or crispy fish it's actually $25, so an extra $5. And on the final bill there was some weird $1.50 "operating fee" and then sales tax for another $2-3 so you spent an extra $5 out of nowhere. Also gratituty was mandatorily calculated into the bill and didn't decide how much I wanted to tip. If you just want tacos alone there are better options in the neighborhood. However, apparently there's an unlimited drinks options (extra charge) for 90 minutes, alongside the tacos, so if you're drinking then this place might make sense. The waiting staff, a guy and a girl talking in Spanish, we're both pretty friendly which is a plus. I would consider this place more of a bar than a food place. If they put more meat in the tacos I would consider coming here again but with the "trim" tacos I don't feel that compelled for $30.
Wait. This is for the same named place in Mexico City. not Brooklyn. I can't cancel this: Disappointing for the price. Food took forever to serve. No one ever told us that you get two tacos when you order one, so we overordered. The service was good but a bit too much. They changed our plates every two minutes. I asked for my fruits drink to be with flat water instead of bubbly and he told me no that wasn't possible. Nice atmosphere, cool spot, but with all the amazing food in Mexico City totally not worth it. We wouldn't return.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice, but the service left a lot to be desired. Our server-bartender Cynthia came across as unfriendly, which was disappointing given how quiet the restaurant was that night. Our drinks didn’t arrive until after the food was served, which only added to the frustration. On top of that, being charged an extra $3 for a few tortillas and another $3 for pico de gallo when ordering a $38 taco plate felt unreasonable. Good service doesn’t always mean perfection — sometimes it’s just about showing attentiveness and care. Unfortunately, that was missing here, and it really took away from an otherwise great dining experience.
The service here was honestly disappointing. Every time we needed a drink or food, we had to flag the waiter down, not once did anyone come by to check if we needed anything or ask how the food was. We were there for about 90 minutes, and as soon as our time was up, they made sure to kick us right out. It’s clear why the gratuity is automatically added to the bill, because they definitely wouldn’t be getting a tip otherwise. Now about the “all you can eat tacos”… there are way too many rules. Everything has an extra charge (+$5, +$10, etc.), so if you don’t eat a lot, I’d say skip it completely. And if you pay the extra +$20 per person for unlimited margaritas or sangria, good luck actually getting refills. Our waiter didn’t even want to give us a second round and had the nerve to say, “parties of two usually don’t finish the first one.” Okay, but we did finish it, so can we please have what we paid for? Overall, the tacos were okay, not the worst, but definitely not worth the hassle or the attitude. Too many rules, poor service, and a rushed experience. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
Atmosphere is great, food is UPSETTING. Ribeye ordered medium rare, came borderline WELL DONE. Flautas came and the chicken tasted horrible, sauce was the only redeeming factor. Agua de Jamaica came and tasted watered down. Still waiting for the birria pizza and burrito after an hour. Would never come back again.
