L'imprimerie Brooklyn Reviews
Tried the guava croissant and the cardamon lemon bun. They are $6.50 a piece. Loved the crisp exterior and the soft interior. The guava filling was just under a spoon. It was more of a crispy croissant. The cardamom lemon bun was amazing. The whole bun was glazed with this flavor and tasted great.
If you’re hiring please call me :) I loved this place’s atmosphere. It was cute and there was a lot of detail in the decor. I ordered a latté with regular milk and after added about a teaspoon of sugar I was very pleased ! I will definitely be returning as I like visiting places an hour away from my home for the walk. Best coffee beans I’ve had so far in all of Brooklyn 🎀☕️
I wanted to come back and add to my review. It is just nice to have an amazing bakery with delicious choices for myself, a vegan, and my partner who eats meat/dairy. We can both get something delicious, and that we are both excited to eat. I have been getting their wonderful baguettes from Yough for awhile, and was so happy to finally order from the bakery.
update, they got rid of some vegan stuff /: not sure if they're bringing back the vegan breakfast but it's never there now. Hopefully they add more old review Great coffee, great vegan sandwiches solid pastries. Coffee is tad pricey. But not huge deal.
2️⃣definitely improved! ✨The swirl-shaped pastry was great! So soft in the center with crispy layers outside. 💛💛💛The white bread I got was FIRE❤️🔥 It was so moist with seeded outside and a hint of salt. Great for savory sandwiches. Great collections of croissants! Many options both for sweet and savory. I’m happy to find this place in this area. Worth to try if you are around. I’m wondering if it’s because of their recipe, their croissants are more on the crispy side. As a result I won’t recommend reheat again. The inside part will somehow lose the softness. I will give 4.3 for the food but added to 5 because of creative items and friendly staff.
L’imprimerie has quickly become my favorite French vegan bakery in all of NYC. I regularly make the trip from the Bronx just for their vegan chocolate chip cookies, which are hands down the best I’ve ever had. They’re perfectly soft, chocolatey, and not too sweet. I also tried their vegan chocolate and almond croissant on the recommendation of a team member, and it was incredible. Plus, their coffee is delicious. The customer service is superb, and the shop has a chill environment that’s perfect for working or hanging out, with great tunes playing in the background. I highly recommend this bakery if you’re serious about vegan treats and are looking for sweet and savory options. They also offer a variety of vegan quiches and sandwiches, which I haven’t tried yet but definitely plan to!
Very nice environment. Basic cafe set up. Staff was very pleasant with a warm welcome. So helpful and thrilled to have me back as soon as possible. I was looking for a French patisserie or ship and was happy to find one via google whiting my area that’s not to far away from where I was at the time. I was delighted to have gotten a mini baguette which was delicious with every bite.
This Bakery is a 💎. It is located between Bushwick and Ridgewood. It is very close to Public Transportation and definitely worth a trip. They have some outside seating. It isn't a big place but it's not super small neither. They have a nice variety of items, including vegan ones and items you might not find so easily in other bakeries. I took home 2 Cherry Clafoutis, which I hadn't seen in other bakeries. My mom and I loved it. It was one of the best desserts we ever had. I'm not from the neighborhood but I will definitely go back to get more of their treats.
Awesome bakery with a very hip vibe! The place attracts younger folks in their 30s and 40s who love to have a French bakery in the gentrified Bushwick neighborhood. Their ham and cheese croissants are to die for as are their almond croissants. The freshly baked bread is delicious and the parmesan cheese bread is decadent. The millionaires bar is luxurious and a must have to relieve stress, lol!
Beautiful breakfast/brunch spot for a quick bite. We came from breakfast and my friend was able to get a vegan quiche which was great! I had a cheese and mushroom sandwich that was perfectly toasty, cheesy, and earthy from the sautéed mushrooms. I had to take the other half home because 1) we ordered several pastries and 2) I knew my husband would enjoy it and I didn’t want him to miss out. The pastry options are near endless and we’re all absolutely delicious. They also have great breads which rotate in flavor daily. We took home a seeded loaf and enjoyed it all week with a variety of sweet and savory toppings!
I moved from the west village to bushwick. I used to love the west village bakeries, but quickly was surprised that l’impremerie is honestly far superior to any bakery I have been to in Manhattan. The quiche is incredible. All of the baked goods are amazing. Truly a hidden gem. It’s one of my favorite things about living where I do. Well run spot. Inspiring. You’ll often see the owner mulling about, and he’s very pleasant. I’m really just amazed this place exists and consider it a gift every time I go, which is frequently.
Definitely worth the trip coming here. The vegan pastries were amazing. I recommend the pain au chocolat and the bacon and cheddar quiche. Lovely decor and ambiance. I went a few weeks ago and there was no indoor seating available. I hope this changes soon. The staff were more than kind, great place to be.
The vegan pastries are delicious. The service is courteous and prompt. But I would look at this place more like a bakery and less like a cafe. The coffee really isn't that good. Both the Americano and drip are very light and watery. But the food? Delicious.
One of the best croissants I've ever had in my life. It was freshly baked in house that morning and had a tiny, almost unnoticeable amount of sweetened egg wash on top. Croissant was small and was lightly doughy on the inside and had a crisp outside. Quiche was pretty good too. They have a lot of vegan options of you're into that but the regular pastries are made with real butter baby Drop coffee is really bad though.
Met up with friends at L'imprimerie one afternoon and had a pretty chill time hanging out in their outdoor patio. I had a pistachio roll and enjoyed it. L'imprimerie has a huge pastry menu and they all look nice. However, I also got a Marseillais bread loaf and when I got home, I found the bread quite burnt and I had to basically got rid of the crust.
I decided to stop in today before running some errands, to grab a chai latte. To my dismay it was... awful. In all sincerity it tasted like hot milk, I was devastated but I was in a rush and had to leave. Ive been here before but only have ever had their baked goods- which to say are always superb! However after this, I wouldn't recommend a beverage
As much as I want to like this place, the pastries were below average and expensive. Escargot Pistache: Okay, but flavorless with a hint of pistachio. Mixed Berry Pistache Danish: It’s a solid danish topped with fresh berries, again not much of a pistachio flavor. Croissant Aux Amandes: The almond croissant was decent but it wasn’t that flaky. Croissant Pur Beurre: It’s ok but, I wish the croissant was flaky and crisp. Their bread looks pretty but that’s about it.
I have been buying and enjoying their pastries for years. Their King Cake was nice. However, L’Imprimerie ripped me and any other customer who purchased a Miche loaf from them on New Years Eve. They were burnt. Not well-done or rustic, completely bitter and inedible. To spend $15 for something to go in the garbage was a waste.
