KEEPING THE CLASSIC AMERICAN DINER SPIRIT ALIVE !! Came here for breakfast and upon opening the doors I have the smell of all sorts of delicious foods attack my senses. I’m greeted warmly and sat right away. Coffee was great if you drink it black. My classic order of a waffle, scrambled eggs with sausage and bacon came out almost instantly. Service was so attentive and made it feel like you have the whole place to yourself. Overall I’m happy I decided to come here and will definitely come back.

This diner deserves a higher rating. I thought the food was outstanding, fresh, tasty with excellent thoughtful service. I had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. One of my favorite late-night after party, and after bar go tos. The food is always decent. I always get the fried chicken player. It’s not excellent dining, but it’s good. Decent. Easy. This diner was amazing! Not many diner’s in Brooklyn, and this one is Superb! Coffee was delicious and freshly made. All the food was amazing. Eapecially the Churro French Toast. My wife and I were very very pleased with our experience there. Stafd was super nice. My wife also told me that the restroom was very clean as well. When you have an eatery, you have to maintain every oart of the establishment, and they came through with flying colora! Bravo! This will go on my top spot to stop in when in Brooklyn.

Stopped in for lunch while in town visiting family. I had a delicious Cuban sandwich with fries. And my husband loved the pulled pork. Our son and my brother enjoyed breakfast options that also looked delicious. Very happy with portion sizes and the food was great. We were happy with all the choices available on the large menu. Pastrami Club Sandwich on Rye toast was my lunch choice. I must say it was a great choice. The food was presented in a portrait plate. It looked just as good as it tasted. There was only one person working in the kitchen and one on the floor. Even with the amount of patrons, the wait time was minimal. Very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere.

I had two eggs with corned beef hash. The food was pretty good. Not the best I’ve had in a diner but nothing to complain about. The service was fast especially given that it was a Saturday and they were extremely busy. Bottomless coffee is good and refilled often. Never have to look for someone to refill for you, they’re always walking around and asking before you even think about it.

This is my joint on the hood; I've been coming for years - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The waitstaff is the best, although I do miss my Maria! I would have given the food 5 stars but they changed the chicken and waffles. It's good but not great. The coffee is always hot and flavorful. I sometimes order delivery, and the food arrives fast, properly packaged, and hot. I highly recommend Neptune.

Went here most recently after partying on New Years Eve and it was packed! That said we got a table in less than 10 min. Wait service took a little long but again it was New Years day about 4am and it was packed so it was well expected. The French Toast was huge, filling and very tasty! The Crown Heights burger was really good! A beautiful 8oz slab of juicy, high quality ground beef, perfectly medium rare, burned bacon as requested, with sauteed onions and BBQ sauce. It's not cheap at $19 with sweet potato fries, but it's worth it. Service was very good. As a bonus, their diet Pepsi with one refill was a very good fountain beverage, tasty and well carbonated unlike most fountain sodas IMHO. They're also open 24 hours Wednesday through Sunday. I look forward to going back and eating on their patio.

It's 2021,July 2nd pre-July 4th (Independence day), mid/post COVID - The first dinner I have been to in 2021 - fabulous sized (huge) meals! Lots of room. My friend's Chicken Noodle soup was cold so she had them heat it up. Good service otherwise...Honestly I was gonna rate it 3 🌟 but my two friends talked me into a 4 🌟 rating...it's also raining outside and Neptune Diner II is keeping customers dry and fed. That's wussup.

Amazing portions. We during brunch. Classic diner with casual comfort food and some beer/wine options. The meatloaf was delicious and flavorful, but the sides were disappointing; the mashed potatoes were dry and bland and the broccoli was just boiled broccoli florets.

So upon coming in I was welcomed by a waiter ; very clean surroundings; I would say the waiter was nice , the coffee was not the cup of joe you would ever want to taste or have a refill to but I did Honestly because the pancakes was unbearable ;you ever ate something that you just had to keep chewing & chewing well the session seemed to never end my friend got an omelet I’m not sure but he enjoyed that . Perhaps a burger next time but I would rule out pancakes unless the come minion . The bacon was cooked to perfection and was good . The restaurant is a beautiful space. Perfect for any brunch with a group of friends. They have so many options on the menu too. 5 stars on service and food presentation. The food itself was decent. Missing a lot of flavor where it counts. The home fries didn’t have any salt or pepper, nor did the eggs. The challah French toast sandwich was very big and tasty but could have also used some stronger French toast flavors maybe cinnamon and vanilla. All in all it was a wonderful experience though.

Neptune Diner II has a nice outdoor patio, that was dog friendly. the breakfast items, were all OK, and I didn't go away hungry. the service was good.

The Greek salad was awful! I'm honestly not sure why they serve it. Too many anchovies and too much feta makes it intense in the worst way.

I really wanted to like this place, but the food just didn't deliver. The burger was bland and completely tasteless - honestly, the mushrooms I added had more flavor than the beef itself. The fries were fine, but very average for a diner. Nothing bad, nothing memorable - just standard fare. The onion rings, however, were a miss. They were soggy and completely saturated with grease, like they'd been sitting in a vat of cold fryer oil instead of being freshly made. The real disappointment was the carrot cake. Calling it carrot cake feels generous. It tasted like a generic supermarket cake with basic icing - the kind you'd grab for a kid's 3rd birthday. No cream cheese frosting at all, which is kind of the whole point. Not terrible across the board, but definitely not something I'd go out of my way for. A lot of room for improvement.

I went here today around 1pm and asked for a table for two. It was fairly crowded and the hostess abruptly gestured and said, “you can sit over in that corner”. Me and the person I was with didn’t see where she gestured due to the crowd and she seemed annoyed when directly pointing it out and said to sit and she would bring us menus. Her energy was genuinely off putting from the beginning of the exchange. We sat, and saw the hostess sit at the bar and began to seemingly scroll on her phone. We waited a couple minutes and then we realized it seemed as though we were being completely ignored. I asked the person I was with if they thought she’d forgotten about us, as she never brought over the menus and he tried to get her attention. He gestured for the menus and said they made eye contact, she grabbed menus and two patrons walked in. For context, we are both Black and they much like the majority of the patrons at the moment were white. She seated them with those two menus and again NEVER brought us a menu although we were there before them and she literally told us to sit and wait for menus. It’s difficult not to feel as though this was racially motivated, as no one around us looked like us, but were all being attended to by the sea of employees in the restaurant. We eventually got up and left and not one employee even acknowledged our existence. This is not my first time visiting this establishment and oddly enough I have never had this experience, it legitimately felt as though we were invisible. I can’t say I’ve ever been treated so terribly in a place I went into with respect and an expectation to simply be treated like a human.

Not only was the food awful, especially the sides of bacon and sausage which looked to have been out all day, we paid $60 for two people and a small meal. We were charged $6.50 each for a glass or orange juice, which wasn’t listed on the menu; and $20 for a waffle with 15 blueberries on it. Staff did nothing when confronted about the price. Be aware you will pay significantly more than the menu says. I will not be returning. First time I’ve ever tipped $0 and I don’t feel that bad.

On Sunday called on an order for delivery at approximately 1:30 pm for a western omelet with grits and large black coffee. When the delivery arrived there was NO COFFEE & the piping hot grits spilled over completely on the omelet. I tasted it and it changed the texture of the food. It was like eating baby food. I called and spoke a manager (Anna ,allegedly) She stated she will send the coffee but I hav to pay for the omelet because it was my responsibility to ask for packing the grits. I stated that you are the professionals in food service and you are responsible for safe and efficient food prep/ delivery and packaging in a timely manner. Her responce was to be belligerent in tone and bullying to me by stating you often complain about food ....( ive ordered like 4 x in all of 2024). Well I responded by saying. This is going in circles and to forget the coffee and the omelet. Great managerial business practices and customer service to clients. I will be posting this on social media your boss

Food was fine. About 20 minutes after leaving here, I realized I had left a metal water bottle at the leg of the table we were at. I called the restaurant, and they straight up told me it wasn't there. Now, I realize that petty theft is common enough, but I had a hard time believing this as they started to clean the table right as I was leaving and it was in a fairly visible spot. Upon walking back to the restaurant, I see the water bottle immediately upon entering the door. Very obviously they just lied about having looked for it. I have no idea what these people's problem is. But it ruined an otherwise fine eating experience.

I don’t trust an establishment that gives out “breakfast syrup” with high fructose corn syrup instead of maple syrup with an order of waffles. That’s what happens when you value money more than anything, including the health of your customers.

With a restaurant of 3 people, at 3:30am - working all day ready to get 2/3 courses of food and sit down - was told I can't sit in a booth, because it's a weekend, as a single diner. Rude staff, old guys with an old school approach to hospitality.

We ordered french fries with Chicken fingers when we receive them the fries were burnt and soggy and the chicken fingers. we call back to have it replaced I talked to management. Gave us a hard time they finally decided to replace it with a new delivery When we received the second order the chicken tenders were not cooked properly and the fries wasn’t cooked properly either. Don’t know what happened to Neptune ll put the food is terrible. I will not recommend anybody to eat in this place. I personally never eat Here again.

service was good ,, food just sucks. got the eggs benny and the hollandaise had such a weird texture. the meat was a slice of ham like from those lunch meat containers at the store. waiter changed out my order no problem but even the second dish (chicken tenders) didn’t hit :/

I am currently at Neptune Diner and Muhammad tried to charge me an additional $4 for fries and the menu says the Bleu burger comes with fries but he is claiming there is an additional $4 charge for fries but the menu says different. I am highly irritated because he is being DISHONEST! I am happy to pay extra if the Menu clearly states this but it does not. As a customer I feel that he is LYING and trying to overcharge me for items on the menu. When I asked him about the discrepancy in price he said he is the manager and that was the price. He is DISHONEST. I thought Muslims here honest and upstanding. To think he is observing Ramadan and being dishonest. Shameful!
