Hands down my favorite omakase/sushi takeout spot. The fish is so fresh and every single piece is so delightfully delectable that it leaves you craving for more. The customer service is impeccable and and the quality is remarkable! Definitely worth every single penny. Isn't my first time eating from here and definitely won't be my last! P.S. If you choose the omakase option, their black cod is to die for! 😋

I go here quite often, and I’d have to say it’s always amazing each time I go. The fish is always seasonal so the menu changes slightly depending on what’s in season. The flavors are always new and I always look forward to what new fish they come up with. Each time I leave, I get a satisfying high from the flavors. It’s extraordinary how good this spot is compared to places in Manhattan! Worth the trip if you’re in Brooklyn. I’d highly recommend coming here for a special occasion. This place is reservation only, don’t miss the reservation time!

Came here for the first time for Valentine’s Day dinner and it did not disappoint! Everything was beautifully put together and so delicious. Every piece was fresh. They even gave us complimentary heart shaped uni! 18 courses for 125 is a steal. Will be coming back

Amazing omakase. Had the full course (steam egg cup/chawanmushi + 14 sushi + dessert). The price is a bit steep but it's all worth it. I guess the service can be improved, seems like waiters are a bit new in serving customers. But the food is really delicious which is more important.

Best omakase (for under $150) that I’ve had in NYC so far! Every course was delicious, there were literally no misses. High points were the king salmon, wagyu, and scallop! Will definitely be going back as much as possible considering they change their menu of fish selection every 2 weeks. Service was also impeccable!! The chef and the waiter were both so attentive and caring!! Truly one of the best omakase places I have ever been.

One of my friend in Bay Ridge area searched this out, so we gave it a shot. Sushi is very well considered as expensive food as soon as out side of Japan, and omakase especially is at the high end, usually served in Manhattan area. So naturally expectation for this place wasn’t so high. And it was a betryal in positive way. It was very well executed, both rice and seafood parts were combined and served in a excellent way. Taste was pleasant and price range is well below compared to the ones in Manhattan, so highly recommended for those who live close by.

If you are in south Brooklyn and in the mood for high-end sushi, and I mean Michelin quality sushi, you could ditch a ride to the city and go to this place. I was amazed by the exquisite taste and creativity of their sushi. And for this quality the price was not bad. We had an 18-piece course for $125, and it was worth every single penny. The place is very small, so prior reservation is a must

Omakase was good; I think price is on point for what you get. Fish tasted fresh, uni was good, and service felt attentive. Only bar seating. Of particular mention was the king salmon; the light smokiness goes well with the buttery fish. I think the scallop was also good.

Came here with my family for our first omakase experience and we absolutely fell in love. The fish was extremely fresh and you can taste every single grain of rice. Kevin was able to alter the menu for my mom that didn’t want to eat raw fish! He was very accommodating for my mom. She even tried a couple raw pieces and enjoyed it! 100% recommend. It is a unique experience and we can’t wait to come back !!

Superb Omakase and definitely worth all the social media hype, not to mention my hour and half drive in from Long Island. They offer a standard as well as a premium which consists of imported fish from Japan and dry aged. This is one of the best Omakase for the price in all of NYC.

My third time visiting this place and the good service has been very consistent. Everything starts on time and the staff are attentive. The food is still good quality, the only reason why I gave it a 4 was because wagyu this time around wasn't as buttery and some of the pieces were not to my liking but other than that, it's still good. I actually noticed the music they were playing and it's not too loud but also a good selection of popular music.

Hands Down the Best Sushi Omakase in its Category (affordable sushi omakase in NYC) as of 04/14/2023. At $75 for 15 pieces of nigiri and an included starter per person. If you have never tried sushi omakase come here to try because I highly doubt you can beat that deal in NYC. They have the standard fare of high end ingredients which you would expect at more expensive omakase price point. Including Bluefin Tuna both Akami and Otoro from Spain, Uni from Hokkaido Japan, A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Beef from Japan, Truffle Salts and Mayos, and last but not least the use of Kulaga Caviar on multiple dishes. They have taken the more modern approach of aging all their fish prior to being served. You can actually see their dry aging refrigerator when you walk into the restaurant as its on the left on full display. Most if not all the fish used in the course was aged for some duration of time prior to being served. The most notable changes are in taste and texture which warrant this technique; in my opinion are the tuna as it helps to intensify the umami and break down any residual muscle tissue and tendons for a much softer bite. Service is not outstanding but its very acceptable at this price point given the size of the restaurant. If you do plan on drinking sake their menu is very fairly priced, and a complete steal if you're use to dining in Manhattan. Only minor complaint that some may have is that if you plan on drinking, you'll have to serve yourself and your guest. Its not something that bothered me. Keep in mind there is no dessert on the menu at the moment so if you have a sweet-tooth plan ahead to find a spot afterwards. They also take note of who's having a birthday or anniversary and give you an extra hand roll with a candle, which is very extremely nice of them. I will be back soon. Neta Shari team, keep up the good work!

Another Wonderful now 20th Anniversary. We had the Omakase 18, that included 2 appetizers, a hand roll and desert along with 14 individual nigiri sushi. My MIL is a not a shellfish eater and a pescatarian. They are happy to accommodate her food choices as well and gave to us a menu prepared for us alone. Many of the pieces were now aged and to perfection. I love this place, my new photos start at photo number 10 for this year.

My best friend insisted on treating me to Omakase for my birthday and it was amazing. This place is so much better than the many omakases I’ve tried in Manhattan. Our waiter Mike and our chef Leo were both wonderful taking care of us tonight. From the first course I was impressed already, the steam eggs were so smooth and fragrant. For dessert the flavor of the night was Yuzu. My other friend is Japanese and he 100 percent approves of this place too.

We loved Neta Shari - my friends have been a few times now to celebrate special occasions, but it was my first time. The quality of the fish is so good and the service and team is so great. Definitely one of the best meals I've had in recent months and I highly recommend the omakase. We also got a homemade honeydew melon ice cream that was the perfect way to end the meal. Their uni was also a standout as part of the omakase.

Very impressed with omakase menu. Every sushi piece was crafted with attention to detail and the combination of flavors were on point. Will definitely be back. Chef Kevin was fantastic. The last photo is from 5/2023 with their omakase to go! Still highly recommend this place.

Pretty good sushi omakase experience in southern Brooklyn. Don’t really see anything like this in this area. Price is decent. The fish was very fresh and delicious, great quality. Love the Hokkaido uni and scallop! Hope they will serve hot tea or Japanese beer in the near future.
