Nonna's Pizzeria Brooklyn Reviews
Great place for a quick, affordable slice. They also have very poppable garlic knots that are 5 for $1. Can't beat that.
Great service guys! Definitely a treat on a cold night.
Delicious!!!! Different style than my go-to place near work, but equally tasty.
This review is for my parent- As a truck driver, they were working late and had a last minute late delivery at a nearby location. He dropped by when they were closing up shop and the worker without hesitation provided my father some slices even though they seemed to be ready to go home. Very grateful as my father’s shift was not close to over and was heading back to NJ in the truck. He wanted to make sure to share how much he appreciated still serving a customer after hours. Also he wanted to say the pizza was very good and is looking forward to visiting again when he is not working.
We ordered catering for our holiday lunch and it was great! Plenty of food and very good options. Peter definitely took care of us!
Solid cheese slice. Nice tangy sauce. Perfect crisp. No complaints here.
My favorite local pizza spot. My husband and I stop here on our way home frequently. I absolutely love their square Sicilian and they have the best beef empanadas. I also love how friendly the people working here are and am happy to support a local small business
We made our own vegan pie with broccoli and black olives and vegan cheese. The pizza came out great! The cheese was melty (surprising for a vegan cheese) and the vegetables were cooked just right. 3 people were able to split a pie and all 3 of us were very satisfied! We also ordered 3 non vegan veggie slices and one plain cheese pizza slice. The veggie slices were hearty and had a lot of veggies. The only thing they were missing was black olives but other than that they were good according to our non vegan diners! Staff were great while picking up and kept the slices warm while we waiting for the pie to be made. The shop has the standard NY pizza pie parlor vibe and was nice and sunny and spacious. Overall a great pickup experience and great food. I'm glad they have good vegan and non vegan options
We had Nonna’s cater a party for my bday / fundraiser and they DELIVERED!! They were prompt and the PIZZA WAS A HIT!! We ordered 5 Nonna’s and pepperonis! The Nonna is my personal favorite and I think it’s their best pizza. I’ve had it for many bursts but never catered. Such a good spot! And the guys are all so nice in the shop:)
The pizza was super delicious and they had a vast variety of slices! The staff were super patient and helpful while i was deciding and even explained the different slices they had as well as their items from the kitchen. They were also kind and respectful and made sure my food came out well and amazing!!! Will definitely be coming back for more. Ps the ny style cheesecake is to die for
The plain slice is ehh BUT theirs someone in there that knows what they’re doing. The square slices are very good.
Just ordered. The reviews are true, pizza soggy and underwhelming. It doesn’t have enough flavor and the cheese tastes like it’s spoiled. I will say the guy on the phone who helped me was super nice. They sell cheesecake from a 3rd party vendor that was delish. Now I’m forced to throw away a $7 slice of pizza because I don’t want it and I wouldn’t give it to anyone else.
They have great service but their pizza legitimately gave me diarrhea the next day. I got a bbq chicken and a pepperoni slice within a couple hours after my stomach was rumbling the next day full on liquid bowel movements typing this review from the toilet right now lol.
Such a sad looking pizza. Thankfully they had a better cheese slice in the back that I got but I can’t believe they’d put this old dried up pizza up front. Or try to sell it in general. I hadn’t come here in like a year because my last visit was the same. Very mediocre selection. I gave it another try and… this. The fresher slice I got was better but crust was super thin so the slice would fall apart. I want this business to do well because I live close and would love some tasty pizza nearby. Hence why I’ve bothered to leave the review. Oh and staff was cool but one other employee just reached into the garlic knot bowl and took one. Looked like the delivery driver or something. Didn’t seem very hygienic 👀
The worst tasting Pizza I've ever had!!! I never had a soggier 🍕 in all my life. The sauce bleeds through the bread. It's more soggier then a wet paper towel! And the sauce has no love in the making of it! Gen z'ers wouldn't know Good food if it hit them in the face. This is pizza made by Gen z'ers!
Correct me, if I am wrong here! When you place an order for a fresh pie with Ham, Is it not already understood that you don’t want the cheese pie that’s been sitting in the window with some ham thrown on top and rush out to you?? I just thought when you spend $33 dollars for a large pie that it should be fresh. Note to self, maybe I should call earlier to avoid the “closing time” pie that has been sitting under a heat lamp all night. 😒
