Saturday before 8, nice saxophone music was played. Became more like night club after 8 when life music started. Service is great. Food very interesting and tastes awesome. No mayo food, which is typical for russian restaurants. This is the case when i say expensive, but not overpriced.

We had my daughter's sweet 16 at orange Grill and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The manager and head waiter helped us with every step of the planning process. They were accommodating and flexible. The party was amazing. Food was so delicious that I kept getting compliments on it all night. The ambience was great. They have an in house DJ who was awesome and played a perfect collection of music all night. The service was impeccable and everything was reasonably priced. Hello. This place is just amazing. That was our first time at Orange Grill. We were celebrating my son's birthday, we came in lunchtime, the restaurant was empty, like we paid for a private party 😊. We ordered a few cocktails and a few dishes. The food was soooo delicious 😋, that I couldn't really find the right words to explain how excellent it was. Every meal has it own, unique taste. A top notch restaurant. I will start with the food. It was really tasty, fresh and nicely garnished. Place is well decorated and organized. The staff was polite and the music- live singer was great, not sure if she is always here or only for special events like the one I was participating in- Birthday Party, but she has great voice and it was really a pleasure to listen to her songs.

Just celebrated my daughter’s first birthday here last weekend and absolutely loved my experience. We had a big party of 87 people yet we fit comfortably and had room for full decor and dance floor. The waiters took care of us and every need. The music was great, everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves. The food was fresh and tasty, we took home the left overs and ate it the next day. It tasted just as good as at the restaurant. Everyone left full, happy, and satisfied. I would definitely throw another party here without hesitation

This is a beautiful restaurant off the beaten path in an area you wouldn't expect! we walked in and were immediately greeted by our host, who seated us immediately. I called for reservations, but, I honestly didn't need to, it was an early dinner. This place had a very classy " nouveau riche" atmosphere, and all the staff was very helpful, very accommodating. The iPad menus were refreshing and fun, with a very select number of items for each course. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, Giza sushi and Mango cheesecake for dessert. Chilean Sea Bass - Cooked to perfection! Lightly crunchy, delicately seasoned, soft, succulent texture inside. The seasoning didn't take away from the exceptional buttery taste of the seabass itself. Paired with the most delicious vegetables consisting of peppers and squash grilled and marinated with... I'm guessing soy, teriyaki and an Asian wine to perfection. This was an exceptional dish! Ginza Sushi - The presentation was very elegant, served on a piece of black slate, arranged in a straight line with the pieces of sushi turned diagonally, which exposed all the ingredients in this Ginza roll perfectly! Absolutely delicious with an delightful hint of heat, I was surprised! Mango Cheesecake - A very fresh, very light yogurt type texture with an enticing amount of mango flavor. It was a refreshing alterative to the traditional cheesecake usually served in most restaurants! it was a great dessert to top off such a delicious meal! I honestly can't wait to go back and try the banquet selection they have on the menu with friends when the opportunity comes around. There was a party next to us who were getting what looked like delicious courses continuously served to them... I was envious! This place was very delightful and the food was amazing. It goes without saying, they will be seeing me there again very soon!

Jay and Denis provided incredible support, Vlad was a fantastic DJ and kept everyone dancing all night (he got my 95 yr old grandpa dancing, which I haven't seen in decades!), the food was unbelievably delicious and so plentiful, and the waiters were very attentive. Initially a wonderful experience. Welcoming atmosphere, beautiful decorations and upscale style with great presentation of each dish! The food was prepared quite well and tasted great! I-pads instead of paper menus is a nice modern touch. Seems like an expanded menu will draw in more customers and the hours are a bit out of the ordinary for NY. Nevertheless it works fine. The not so great parts are minimal but cost my loyalty to this establishment. The waiter was openly gawking at my finace most of the time, never looking me in the eye. At time of ordering he was only looking at my fiance and mostly ignoring me as I was placing the order. Seemed quite strange and made both of us feel uncomfortable. We let it go without bringing it up as we didn't think much of it. After drinks arrived one of the drinks had shattered glass inside. We found out after nearly swallowing the piece of glass cutting the inside of the mouth. I promptly brought it up to the staff. They didn't seem to care at all and didn't bother to ask if all was well... To my shock, a replacement drink wasnt offered. We were expected to finish the drink with glass shards in it. I asked for the bill but the drink wasnt removed from the bill... We payed and left. Im a bit appalled at the situation. Its a great place but there is no accountability for the kitchens/bars mistake. Will consider giving a 5 star review if the situation is rectified. Otherwise 4 stars is extremely generous considering the situation.

The portion is small, a little over price. The rice that come with the steak and lamb too salty. Decorating of plate is nice.my kids said the lava cake too dry, they expecting like egg yolk watery.

Attended the birthday party. the place is ok. Food is ok, but don't expect much of the food, expect to pay for it 😁. the strange part is that for the birthday party, waiters should show up at the tables once a while, but in this case, they were just disappearing for hours, like no one on the floor... well, it is a pretty known restaurant, but I just didn't find anything excided there at all.

Definitely more of a Russian Restaurant than a “Modern French Restaurant” as described in their google listing. Came here for a wedding party. It’s your typical russian foods and drinks. The food was well prepared, service was efficient and observant, music was great for the younger crowds. For everyone else, the music was not ideal as it was techno the whole night. Apparently, the DJ said it costs $40/song request which is ridiculous. Otherwise, the place is very clean, great environment for any party. I think they had some Kosher friendly foods upon request. The kids had a blast running around on the dance floor. They claim to have valet, but multiple members of my party were left waiting outside for the valet. They wound up having to park their car themselves. The owner said the valet was sitting in his own car…

It was a Saturday night, and we had our friend's birthday party. What I'd like to share is the restaurant, service, food was great. The only problem was the entertainment. The singers didn't play a good music unless they were tipped. If they were not paid by the customers for each song, they didn't bother to play a nice song and they were waiting to be tipped. It was so obvious, that I wanted to leave this comment for the owner to be aware of what's going on.

I want to hear for a birthday party a little while ago and the food was pretty good and the service was okay along with the atmosphere. Wouldn't want to go back though.

It was so incredibly loud that a full day later my ears are still painfully ringing. No one in our party could talk or hear what anyone was saying. I feel awful for the poor people who work there every day in such health-risking conditions. Service was the best part of the experience. Food was good. We had so much left (banquet) but very little was packed for us to take home. I brought candles to put on a cake and they weren't used nor returned to me. The photographer was grabby and pushy and rude in the end when we tried to select only some of the photos he brought.

It's with disappointment that I am posting this review as this place used to be better. It is a nice restaurant however my rating is very specific. Music - good music. Small dance floor but it works. Service - is ok. Staff does it best when the place is busy. Have to wait and ask few times to bring bottled water refills My biggest issue is what you get for the money you spend. They have different menu options and pricing for banquets. However for the last two parties attended (one I threw and second my close friend did) the ownership is simple cheating it's customers. The amount of food served is much less. I pay per person and expect each person to have a piece. Not the case here at all. And that applies to many of the menu items from appetizers to hot items. Table felt empty most of the time. The other item surprised me. I been to many restaurants but this is the first one in NY where they charge $20 for parking. If you are not a big eater, you will enjoy this place. I can't say you will get your moneys worth based on what they charge vs what they give. I don't think I will be bringing my business to them.

everything was really tasty and the atmosphere was really calming but the ending when we asked to pack the cake it was terrible. The service was so rude and the packaging was so terrible that they have embarrassed me in front of all of my guests. Just look at these pictures. If I could put a negative grade for their service I would. I had 5kg of cake and my guests get that?! Keep that in mind that I had 12 guests. 5kg of cake for 12 people and they couldn’t even give a normal full piece. I do not recommend.

Amazing space, as a seafood shellfish allergic person, I found the waiters in reliable, I got very sick and could not eat anything!!! It’s all cross contaminated with seafood and shellfish… thank god for EpiPen…! For a normal person, that like Russian foods, I would recommend it….

Poor waiting service!!! I’ve been to Orange Grill many times, have celebrated family birthdays there, love this place, which is why tonight was so disappointing. After our appetizers were cleared and we ordered another bottle of water, no one came back to take our main course order for almost an hour. We sat with empty plates and no water for about 50 minutes and eventually had to go to the bar to ask for help. I understand it was a busy night, but instead of apologizing, the waiter smiled, blamed the crowd, and falsely claimed he came to our table and that we didn’t want to order. By then, our appetizers were long digested and the mood completely ruined. We paid and left without ordering a main course or dessert, much earlier than we normally would.
