Pavlova Bakery Brooklyn Reviews
We had a Turkish breakfast here today and absolutely loved it. The breakfast was very diverse, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I’ve been looking for a place of this quality in Brooklyn for a long time, and I’m so happy I finally found it. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place. The woman who served the breakfast — possibly the chef — was incredibly kind and attentive. She brought everything with such care and warmth, which made the experience even more special. It would be amazing if kaymak could be offered instead of butter — that would make the breakfast even more perfect Thank you ❤️
The fruit tart was incredibly fresh and delicious every bite was perfect. The girls working there were so friendly and helpful, which made the visit even nicer. Highly recommend this place😊
Thank you for this wonderful Turkish breakfast. Everything was wonderful and delicious. We were extremely pleased with the customer satisfaction. The waiters were friendly and tolerant. Thank you for everything.🙏🏻😊
Be warned: the pastries here are absolutely irresistible and highly addictive due to their deliciousness! Adding to the great experience is the cafe staff, who are consistently friendly and polite.
bought a birthday cake for my husband. I had a few questions and the staff answered them very kindly. The cake wasn’t too sweet and it was so delicious. My husband and me loved it. Thank you!
Their variety on cakes and Arabic sweets is great 👍🏼 all fresh and savory😋. Service was excellent 🫶🏼 4/16/2025 Today I tried the falafel wrap and it was delicious 🤤😋
I ordered a custom cake for my son's birthday. I provided the decorations for the cake but the baker did a great job to bring the creation to life. The cake was chocolate with chocolate cream and chocolate pieces. My guests really enjoyed it! It tastes very fresh. It was easy to order and ready on time. Would definitely recommend this bakery for anyone in the area who is looking for a custom cake!

I love the cakes, boreks and everything here! We bought a cake from there for New Year's, and it was amazing. Whenever I really crave something chocolatey, I try to get it from there. Everything is very fresh, and they are very generous with the ingredients they use. This is my favorite bakery.
We were the very last guests on a cold, rainy night, yet we were warmly welcomed and treated to delicious desserts and drinks. Everything was so good — and beautifully presented — that we didn’t even pause to take a photo before diving in!

I can truly praise everything about this bakery. Everything is incredibly fresh. I had the Napoleon cake, and both the flavor and the cream were outstanding. My friends tried the assorted cookies, and they were also very fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place—please come here with complete peace of mind. You won’t be disappointed!

Baklava was terrible. Soft. 0 crunch. Feels like its been there for a week. Chery tart however was super delicious
I wish these deserts tasted better than they looked but, unfortunately, it was not the case. I got a honey cake and a red velvet and they literally tasted THE SAME except for the tiny hint of honey in the honey cake. It is literally the same type of dough and same filling in both deserts. Very disappointing especially for $8-$10 per slice. Yes, the presentation is nice but I would like to have my cake and eat it too, so I won’t be coming back.

The worst cake we’ve ever ordered for $163! Firstly, the cake’s appearance was far from what we requested. It looked sloppy, and the stitching was poorly executed. We were told that edible paper was used for decoration, but this turned out to be untrue. Instead, it was merely printed on regular paper and placed on the cake, which is completely unacceptable. More critically, the taste was dreadful—none of our guests were willing to eat it. We felt it necessary to return the cake to your establishment. However, upon our return, we encountered a shocking lack of customer service from a woman at the counter, and the baker who made the cake responded with an aggressive attitude. I will be taking my business elsewhere! Thank you for your response. However, I must address some inaccuracies in your reply. We specifically requested a $100 bill on the cake, as it was a request from the birthday child. Additionally, we asked for a "Happy Birthday" sign, which was missing! We also requested an edible print, considering it was for a child's birthday celebration. The inclusion of metallic coins was misleading, as the children were eager to eat them, not realizing they were foil. Unfortunately, this situation overshadowed the birthday celebration. Furthermore, we were disappointed with the quality of the cream, which did not seem handmade and appeared to be store-bought. When we contacted the bakery after we saw the cake Dusay informed us that a refund would be processed. However, when we returned the cake, we encountered an attitude which only added to our distress.
I came here yesterday and bought 5 different cakes including a raspberry cake and when I brought it over to my parents house we realized after having a few bites that there was so much mold on the cakes. This is extremely unacceptable considering this means that it had probably been sitting there for a long time. I called and explained the situation and got offered to bring in the cake and get a new one. No apology neither. No offense but I was so nauseous and turned off I will definitely not be coming back. I spent nearly $55 and it went into the garbage. Do not recommend. Do not eat from here. Stay far away
