Pinkerton Brooklyn Reviews
If you’re looking for a cozy and intimate space to enjoy a glass of wine, look no further than this charming wine bar. The menu has a great selection wine, small plates and the charcuterie board is particularly impressive. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable wine experience.
If you are in the neighborhood, this is a good spot to visit. Nice staffs and good vibe.
Had an engagement party here. Staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. Would highly recommend this place for anything. Fantastic neighborhood wine bar
Absolutely good customer service, the staff is very attentive and welcoming. The dishes were simple and very good. The wine menu was perfect, there’s choice for anyone. We will definitely come back.
Pinkerton Wine Bar had a strange subconscious calling for me when I visited last Saturday, as I realized I had been there a few years back, despite usually being very aware of places I have previously visited. The vibe is great. It is woodsy, and I loved the small details, such as the ship on what appeared to be a wine closet. The atmosphere is dark and intimate, but because it is quite popular, it is not the most quiet place. However, I had no trouble talking with my friend or the bartenders. One thing is very consistent about Pinkerton Wine Bar: the bartenders are amazing. They were amazing last time I visited, and they were amazing this time. I wish I had gotten their names, but it was my third drinking place of the night. I do not know if I can even accurately describe what each wine tasted like because I was happily buzzed, but I remember that they all tasted great. We each got two glasses of white wine, and then decided to split a glass, but the bartender actually gave us nearly a full cup's worth each. I really wish I had gotten her name; she was a VIP. The olives were just olives, nothing special about them. The bathroom was not dirty, but it also seemed like it was being used for storage. I had unintentionally returned to Pinkerton Wine Bar, and I will be returning again if I am in the area, specifically because of the amazing bartenders and the overall good vibes.
Cutest little neighborhood wine bar! The staff is very knowledgeable about all the wines they have available. (Shoutout to Austin and Tiffany.) My friend and I stopped in on a Monday night after dinner. They let us try several different wines in order to make our selection. Very intimate/cozy vibes and reasonable prices. Would be a great place for a date night!
Came here for the first time years ago, and returned just recently. Best spot for a solo date! The ambiance is inviting and not pretentious, the seafood is fresh and tasty, and the wine selection… incredible! Did I mention that it’s quite affordable too? Mondays have their energy, but you’ll forget all about it if you come to Pinkerton. They allow laptops, dogs and even babies haha. Bring a book and enjoy the best golden hour lighting in Williamsburg. No happy hour, but seems like it’s always happy in there. What a neighborhood gem! Definitely will be back for more oysters and orange wine, yum.
Pinkerton has been one of my all time favorites for a couple of years now and is my go-to spot when organizing work events and birthday dinners. The communication, service, and food is always spot on. Last night we celebrated a big birthday and Devin & crew took such great care of us. We had a blast and were so grateful for the welcome drinks. Thank you!!
I had a fantastic time here for my birthday yesterday and I regret not getting our servers name because they deserve a huge shout out! He wore a black beanie and had long hair. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine on the menu and made great recommendations for all of us. My friend and I got the moscato and it was perfect. We also had the burrata and ricotta plates which were AMAZING. The food was incredibly fresh and the server was so kind! Really love this place and will be back!!
Amazing little wine bar in Williamsburg! I’m not even a wine guy lol but the oysters are straight up amazing, the charcuterie board is just as great along w anything else you get to eat, the service is wonderful from the guys in the kitchen to Miguel pouring the drinks and being so courteous and professional
I never, EVER leave reviews for businesses but I had to for Pinkerton. My now-husband and I had our small wedding party here yesterday and we could not have had a better experience. The staff, bartender, and managers were extremely kind and generous in our planning process and went the extra mile to accommodate us in any way. They gave us the opportunity to make our own wedding playlist, put up decorations, and bring cakes/food if we wanted. On the day of the staff were extremely professional, kind, and made sure we were doing okay at every turn. On top of their extreme generosity, the food was delicious and everything came out in a timely manner. All of our closest friends had a fantastic time and everything was extremely organized from the beginning to the very end of the night. I cannot further express my gratitude for everyone involved in making our special day even more unique. I will HIGHLY recommend this bar to anyone looking to stop in for a good time or those special moments that make life truly worth living. Thank you again, Pinkerton staff for making our wedding evening truly unforgettable.
What a fantastic experience at this Brooklyn wine bar! The mulled wine was absolutely delicious, so much so that both me and my partner got seconds. You really could'nt beat the price or the taste for $10 a mug, especially on a cold day like today. The wine bar itself had such an eclectic but rustic vibe which I absolutely adored. The staff were incredibly friendly and considerate and couldn't have asked for better. We paired the wine with a charcuterie board, choosing 6 different items for $30. Perfect pairing to the wine and delicious on its own. Would absolutely come back whenever I'm in the area!
UPDATE: service is way better and they now have a great selection of cocktails for $10 (aperol spritz, margarita etc). Outdoor seating is nice and spacious and the oysters are even more delicious now. 2019 review: The oysters are great value and super delicious, however the staff are super rude and unhelpful. Wine is overpriced and average.
This used to be my neighborhood go-to. Team was amazing, Jade in particular was so warm and knowledgeable. Unfortunately it seems they’ve made a series of cost-cutting measures and the quality all-around has gone downhill, from service to ingredients etc. Another neighborhood fave lost to poor management. Sad!
I've been coming here pretty regularly in large part thanks to Jade, a wonderfully knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive server who's been a fixture there for as long as I can remember. After not seeing her at her usual shift the other night, I learned she and others were fired as a result of Pinkerton's sister bar Domino closing down. I'm disappointed by these decisions by management and likely will not be returning anytime soon.
