Rocka Rolla Brooklyn Reviews
Awesome old school rock bar! Came for the goblets of beer, stayed for the house pickled eggs. Definitely coming back here. Retro decor is so cool. Maybe next time I won’t fill up on eggs and try that taco truck outside I always hear about.
the coffee thing, enough said. This is place an instant classic right around the corner from the L and G trains at metropolitan. great drinks -they also feel like a great deal.
Mad busy bar! It was a Saturday quick and direct service! Brill place to meet family then head to the famous tacos across the park!
Awesome space. Sadly they don’t have Blondie on the jukebox but Gizmo was the highlight of the night. Party on Garth 🤟
Jen is so awesome! Amazing vibes and great quintessential dive bar- go on Tuesday's (any other day is great too but specifically tuesdays bc Jen is working hehe)
An amazing bar -- I love that you can create your night from here. High energy if you want it to be, but also has a shuffleboard table in the back and a really amazing open area in the back with an ample amount of outdoor seating. The crowd is young to mid twenties with people chatting, drinking, smoking. Will definitely be returning. Oh and of course, most of the drinks come in a pretty nice chalice.
I was very impressed with this bar. My first impression was the friendly bouncer at the door greeting me with a smile. Next, the drinks were super competitively priced for NYC. Not only that but their atmosphere is amazing, love the antiques & old signs all over the place, great music choices as well. 10/10 Brooklyn experience. Outdoor seating was a bonus and there are two backrooms to chill in as well.
Are you looking to find a place with enormous drinks that you won’t remember walking out of when you leave? Do you like loud music and meeting great people? Then you’ve come to the right spot. This place was recommended by an acquaintance and boy did it deliver. I may have toned up my biceps while lifting the gigantic challis to my mouth hole. The bartenders are awesome. It was packed to the gills and I never had to wait very long at all for friendly service. Go brown out at this establishment.
This is a cool dive bar in Williamsburg. The service is good and they have very good prices. A giant Chalice of draft beer is only $6. The drinks are also fairly priced. The music is mostly Rock. The only thing is I put a $1 in the Jukebox, which is supposed to get you 3 songs and only 1 song came up. The decor is cool. This is a cool bar to chill in.
Rocka Rolla is a local Dive Bar in Williamsburg that has some really good music (classic rock) and some dope decor. Unlike other dive bars you may find in NYC, it doesn’t have smelly bathrooms. it’s a fun place to come with a group. Hang out in a booth and drink a beer in a giant goblet. . Rocka Rolla also serves beer in some really cool Schooner glasses — giant 18 oz goblets for just $3. Can’t beat that deal anywhere . You can fill one to the brim with Budweiser. Or opt for a 16 oz. can of Tecate for only $5. They're also pouring a great selection of craft beers . The Frozen Coffee Drink And Outdoor primo is the bonus for me!
The most rude and mean bouncer I’ve ever encountered? Such unnecessary attitude I literally wanted to leave the moment we got there. Drinks were good
Barback Bobby literally showed us middle finger multiple times after spilling our beers two times back to back. It’s so ridiculous to write about this experience but check the cameras, if you have them in the bar. Bouncer was super rude too, even though we called him to resolve the issue. I used to love this place and I used to come here often for drinks
I didn’t know where the bathroom was and the bartender decided it was appropriate to make a joke about me not knowing where the bathroom was? (This was my first time here and I found that extremely rude.) I’d love to come back but I wish the bartenders were nicer. :( I loved the music and atmosphere!
