Rosalia's Cafe Brooklyn Reviews
Great food and coffee, very nice staff and much better value than any other place in the area. Love this spot.
Great sandwiches and iced coffee! Staff is very friendly too and lines felt quick
Great service!! Great menú choices, priced well. Has come along way since Conneticuit Muffin.
Great bagel, very friendly staff. Nice place to relax and calm down.
Ordered with Uber eats the Ouellette platters and the food was great! Will ordercagain!
Discovered this gem on Nostrand ave by accident. The staff was friendly and accommodating the food was delicious and plenty of it..hu by and I will definately be back
I highly recommend this place. The food is delicious and everyone is super friendly. The owners also donate leftovers every day (!) to a local community fridge or to people in need which shows how much they care about the community. The food is also always fresh and affordable. My favorite spot in the neighborhood.
Absolutely Awesome. My new NYC Cafe. Quick fast and good. Loved the potatoes. It came highly recommended. IT IS AWESOME. Was better the Katty time but still worth it
I come here multiple times a week! Everyone who works here is super nice, I love seeing the same familiar faces. Their breakfast is awesome and affordable and they have lots of seating!
Fast service. The smoothies are very good.
Great place for a quick bite! I would have lowered the music a little bit, it was too loud and I could hear myself almost screaming my order😂😂 Other than that, I recommend this place for breakfast/brunch😋😋
I loved coming here every day while living in the neighborhood. The prices are so reasonable, the space is always welcoming and the service makes you feel right at home. I came here for work, on dates, and just to chill, and loved the friendly staff and good food.
Amazing neighborhood spot, with great food and service. I've only done breakfast there for the first time last week. I'll become a regular.
I go get breakfast everyday. Very clean and nice place. I think it's family owned and they are very nice. A real neighborhood fixture I hope we keep
I love the customer service omg. They are on point with the flavors and everything—super friendly and clean establishment. Outlets are very accessible throughout the place.
Everything is fresh They make the best smoothies
Ordered an iced coffee and omelet. Excellent food, friendly staff, nice/clean space. I had a great time!
Order breakfast via delivery, the Mexican omelet was delicious.
My new favorite coffee shop. Staff is friendly and everything is delicious. Still open for togo orders during Covid19! Definitely worth supporting this great local business.
Very nice people serving and the food was amazing
Love the egg and cheese bagels, very well-made. Good sausage links, crispy bacon. Omelettes and smoothies also good, hot coffee. Lots of room to sit and look out the window.
Great breakfast. The best chai latte I’ve ever had in my life. Tasty chicken wraps, really good sausage egg and cheese on a croissant and yummy smoothies too. Definitely a go to spot that I recommend.
Breakfast burrito was amazing and absolutely delicious. I got it with both jalapeño and salsa, 10/10. Comes with avocado and potato inside (a month other ingredients) 🤌🏼 Been wanting to try this place for a while, and we finally stopped in. We will be returning- happy it’s in the neighborhood!
Pass by for lunch yesterday with a few co-workers. Ordered the Fresh roasted turkey sandwich. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They give you time to look the menu. The place is welcoming. You can see how the food is cooked and what you ordered. The Fresh Turkey Sandwich was amazing the best in this area if your looking for a quick bite. The drink options are amazing and the menu is well organized. Well recommend.
This place has such great breakfast. We come here often before heading to the city. The service is always warm and inviting.
Tasty food. Great coffee. Friendly service.
Amazing !!!!! I think that about sums it up I had the mushroom omelette with bacon, extra bacon on the side, home fries n toast, no salt/pepper needed. Everything was perfect ! Also ordered an iced vanilla Chai tea latte and it was so good , I ordered 2 more to go
amazing every time! i miscommunicated my order and after telling them, they were extremely understanding and helpful in fixing my mistake!
This Café the service is immaculate. The food comes out quickly. Every order I make is on point. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the space is clean.
My girlfriend (@ashleyinorlando) and I had the opportunity to be hosted and it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Hospitality from Jonathan the owner and Lyndsey the manager was unmatched, they made sure to give us an experience we’d never forget! Great atmosphere and amazing in house made food, it’ll make you want to come back for more!
A bit overpriced but makes the best iced drinks. Their avocado toast is great as well. Be prepared to spend a lot of money for great food.
Hidden gem near prospect park. So happy I came across Rosalia’s today by chance. It’s also not far from prospect park. The food was 10/10, fast service, clean environment, friendly staff. Will be back for the empanadas to bring to the park
Best bacon, egg and cheese in the world and I’ve been eating bacon egg and cheese since the 80s due to graffiti ever through and corner store stop selling it when everybody went to other addictions went to Mr. bagel on New York and Empire in 1991 to 1994 after Mr. bagel on New York and Empire Boulevard across from the precinct , this is the best bacon egg and cheese you are gonna find in the world
I have become a weekend regular here. Great food, great coffee, and reasonable prices. The staff is warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend for an easy breakfast!
The food is always delicious, the staff and the service are great!
I love this spot and I'm so glad Rosalia's is part of this neighborhood! Fantastic breakfast spot. Kind, quick service right to your table or to go. I always recommend it to my friends when they visit. Healthy portions, great prices, dependable flavor. Their coffee used to be mid (watery), but now it's strong and flavorful! The only issue I've found is that the blender for making smoothies is so loud you can't even hear the person sitting across from you.
Food is great, coffee is good and price is within NYC standards. My only complaint is how they dealt with replacement, there should just be an easy way to order what you want. I wanted just eggs, sausage and cheese, so I should be able to order that and not get charged for the toasts and the roasted potatoes.
This is my go-to delivery breakfast. Really good breakfast potatoes and iced coffee. I saw that they are no longer on UberEats, but if you visit their website you can still order from them directly.
It is a dine in cafe however no wait staff. You order at the counter, grab your table wait for your food. One of the employees behind the counter will bring your food when it's ready. They have a sign on the wall that states no outside food, no laptops or tablets. I will be honest at first I was a bit put off but sitting there and observing I understood the need for the sign. I digress, the food was so well prepared and so good. My eggs were exactly how I asked them to be prepared. My husband's omelet was beautifully prepared NOT overcooked and browned. The bathroom was immaculate with both a hand dryer and paper towel options. My only issue was thier seating. I am curvaceous so I need a little space for the junk in my trunk. The employees behind the counter were very nice and attentive. The manager was a really pleasant man as well. Overall not fancy but who cares. I want really good food for a great price in a clean establishment. So go check out Rosalias Cafe.
Great spot with a friendly local feel. I ordered an omelette, fresh juice and coffee. Recommend all of the above!
Thanks for all the great iced coffees over the last couple of years!
Great spot to grab a coffee or one of the many drink options available in the cooler. Very comfortable and casual inside with both indoor and outdoor seating. Great service and reasonable prices. Would return here, though I will mention their latte is quite a bit sweet, I would appreciate if they did with a bit less sugar.
Quite a variety of breakfast omelettes and sandwiches. Egg and cheese was very good, the freshly baked, super soft roll was the highlight. They have a nice variety of smoothies, cafe drinks and drinks on the go. Guayaki drinks are 4.49, kinda pricey but pretty fair given convenience since places like Target or Whole Foods aren’t nearby. Fairly large, bright space with a few booths, and plenty of bistro tables. Service is outstanding, albeit it’s an slow, early, cold rainy morning but the experience brightened up my day!
Service was quick and efficient. The cappuccino was on point…I asked for some cinnamon on top. I ordered the veggie omelette with pepper jack cheese. The food was tasty. This is a place I will come back to for breakfast. They have tables inside and outside. They have street parking only. Came back to this place, and this time to try the French toast with scrambled eggs and well done bacon. Food was tasty and the bacon on point #crispy 🙌🏼
Super popular place with great food and service, was lucky to grab a table to enjoy my breakfast at. The high powered vitamix commercial blenders sing amongst the hustle and bustle of Nostrand Ave while talented cooks quickly assemble breakfast meals to fuel the residents of crown heights
Amazing cafe! I am so happy this is in the neighborhood and I'll be visiting often. The scones are delicious (I tried maple and blueberry). Also had iced chai (they had 5 different flavours!) which was delicious. The prices are super reasonable too. I highly recommend my new favourite spot and they have ample electric sockets :)
Rosalia's has great food. The atmosphere is pretty chaotic and loud, but that is because it is very popular, and rightfully so.
Layout/atmosphere *Eleven tables for dine-in Food/drink *Bacon, egg & cheese on roll - good *Lemon frosted pound cake - good
Good spot to pick up some bagels and iced coffee in the morning. Staff is friendly and service is quick.
So I only had breakfast here and it was really good. So the atmosphere is very nice. So the place is clean. Nice surroundings. Again Good food. They an assortment of bagels muffins and drinks as well so plz. Enjoyyy
Great coffee, pastries, and fresh food. Prices are fair. There is ample seating and the staff is always friendly and to the point. Great service overall and I really recommend the wraps.
Welcome replacement to the former Connecticut Muffin. People are nice and the food is fresh and surprisingly affordable. Good coffee and spacious dining area to enjoy your food/drinks or study/work. Check it out.
Food is good service little slow. Food warm from sitting. Before they bring to you or let you know it's ready
I love this little corner spot. The people are sweet. They drive me a bit crazy because they get my simple order wrong 70% of the time but it's become a fun game, never quite sure what I am going to get. One time I ordered a BEC on an onion bagel and received it on a cinnamon raisin, which is chaotic but enough that I laughed and ate all of it. I still frequent whenever I need a quick coffee and surprise breakfast sandwich
If you are planning on visiting here on a weekend, absolutely call well in advance to get on the list. With that said, it is worth the wait. The food is great! And if you have a sweet tooth you HAVE to try the cinnamon roll!
The sandwich I got was so good. A few minutes late-but that was to be sure it was fresh and it was well worth the wait. Chicken club wrap was what I had.
My order was wrong, which was unfortunate after waiting half an hour for a breakfast sandwich and over an hour for a side of bacon. With sub par food and a sanitary rating of “B,” this may not be worth a stop during your busy day. I hope it improves.
It was really busy and my food got lost in the shuffle but MAN was that thing so good. I really semi enjoyed my visit, work on your delivery and I’ll be back to patron your establishment in the near future…. Hopefully idk
I stopped in for coffee & pastry. I should have gotten an egg sandwich. That looked yummy. Great service & well spaced tables. I was somewhat disappointed that they did not check for vaccination since I was eating in...I am so used to doing this in Manhattan.
Ordered from Uber eats and explicitly asked for there to be no tomatoes in the Cheesesteak because i cannot eat tomatoes. The meal comes and there are tomatoes all over. Ordered Pancakes and they were delivered without syrup. I will never order from here again.
Hot coffee is pretty burnt, plus charging extra for cream??
I purchased a Turkey Bacon, Egg & Cheese on a Roll it was edible but very bland and dry. No butter on the bread like I acted and barely any cheese on the sandwich! It’s was about $6.50 in total for just the sandwich. However it was made pretty quickly. The cashier also wasn’t the most please, she was just in a rush and had a attitude. The restaurant itself was cute and clean.
The tropical smoothie was really good and I also ordered egg on a roll. The young lady at the counter was definitely not too friendly. She forgot to toast the roll I had asked her. Not a big deal, I ate it. My guest had a couple items also. When hlmy guest took out his laptop to briefly, she ran from around the counter and rudely told us to almost kind of leave because we had the laptop. We did not know there was a sign and she was not nice about it. We rapidly tossed our food and walked over to Cotton Bean Coffee down the block. They are way more friendlier and inviting and we finishe our breakfast there instead. Probably will not return to Rosalia especially there are so many places to dine in the area.
Good price, for just take out No working a/c, some limitations like only 30min seating, can’t use laptop. That’s not a cafe.
Order was missing the bacon. I asked for black pepper an onions in eggs none in it very bland
Raw and chewie pancakes. Ordered 2 cappucinos and got 2 distinct coffes, one with considerable more milk than the other.
Nice big place to get coffee and work since it has a lot of space and light. The foods not good though...like really not good. Hopefully they fix this so I’d want to eat here too..
New review, I’m really disappointed in the way they set up their website. As a result of it, it overcharged me by $10!! When I went in I asked about it, the lady showed me their receipt which was $10 less. Then explained it’s because of the app bla bla . Next time call. Next time?? Next time? You want me to pay an extra $10 because your owner can’t set up a proper website. Pick up should not cost $10 more. That is robbery. Old review: would share a photo but it was so good I gobbled it up fast! 😆 I had a quesadilla with enchiladas. The music 🎼 in here is great. I walked over from BCM when they were having an internet probe and the cafe there was closed. It was recommended by the staff of BCM. Excellent choice! Thanks to all. Happy place on a rainy day.
I've been twice and it is not good. Got the coffee I ordered after I was already done eating my food, they asked me what my order was three times. The coffee, bagels, and pancakes would all be better made at home. Waited 10 minutes for a toasted bagel because they're understaffed and forgot about it. Also the dining room is never clean
We used to go here almost everyday in the summer time. Service is always good but They must have new cooks because these people starting to mess up almost every single order. Either wrong meat, wrong cheese, bread not toasted, almost every time now!! They used to be on point with everything. It’s annoying now and a waste of money.
Cute place. But the coffee is just not good at all. My girlfriend and I like to try out different cafes and coffee spots and we got two oat milk lattes from here. They were incredibly watery and tasted like burnt water. It’s also very odd for a cafe not to have its own sugar station, you have to ask the cashier for sugar packets or simple and creates more of a delay on the line if you want more. Not very convenient.
The food was trash. I asked for eggs over medium. First time eggs came out over easy. Second time they came out over hard. There’s a fine line between the two and the chef couldn’t differentiate. The home fries looked like mash potatoes with crispy pieces throw in there. To top it off it had no flavor, not even a little salt and it was cold. Le sigh Had to sprinkle some on and I still ended up throwing it in the trash. Loved the no computer rule! Totally told my boss I couldn’t work due to my location having a strict policy. 😂 I would have got to sit and enjoy my breakfast if it was yummy. Would I return, that is a big NO for me.
They follow a 30 minute time limit per table policy. I came in at 7 am when it was completely empty and they said I couldn’t stay for an hour when I asked about their sign— not a place to study.
I was coming here almost every day. I leave a tip every other time, it seems fair to me since I’m just grabbing a breakfast sandwich and heading out. Today I watched the guy making it drop my bagel into the trash (on purpose) then take it out again and put my sandwich together. The other guy went to hand it to me and I asked if the first guy had dropped the bagel in the trash. They immediately started making it again. I left. I guess I’ll go to one of the 101 other places to get a sandwich from now on.
Walked In This Afternoon. I See The Guy Behind The Counter Taking My Picture As I Walk In. The Place Is EMPTY. This Is Approx:2:00pm. I Was Told I Could Not Use My Laptop In There, Nor A Tablet. I Have Two Phones Also. I Asked What About My Phones. They Told Me They Do Not Like People Coming In And Doing One Cup Of Coffee Taking Up The Seats. So They Banned Laptops And Tablets, And They Close At 2:30pm. I Lie Not. I Don't Expect Them To Open Open Much Longer Under These Conditions.
This places doesn’t Even deserve one start!
The cook doesn’t wear gloves, touches food with his bare hands. Unsanitary and nasty don’t eat here.
I'm traveling to Brooklyn and wanted to find a good breakfast location I can eat at while I'm visiting. Called to see how far your location is from my stay. A gentlemen picked up the phone said he would check and 7mins later I'm still on the phone. You just missed out on tips, a positive review, with recommendation from out of town visitors. Tip have someone answer the phone who has better customer service skills.
I really would like to give this place 5 stars but it’s hard to. For starters, their bacon egg and cheese literally comes with one or two slices of bacon. It is very underwhelming especially for the price. The bacon egg and cheese is literally an egg and cheese with a tiny bit of bacon. The other day I went back even after getting my BEC from here with barely any bacon. So I ordered it with extra bacon, they charged me a couple of dollars for extra bacon and they LITERALLY maybe, put a slice or two more! It was barely noticeable that they even added extra BACON! Lmfao this is literally my first time ever complaining about this with any establishments at all for this has never happened to me before lol. On another note no laptops are allowed, plus only 30 min seating which makes this place not a cafe at all, definitely change the name if you’re not allowed to do that, the majority of people go to cafes to use their laptops/MacBooks. I’d love to give it 5 stars but it’s a no for me. The bacon egg and cheese taste good but the lack of bacon is very disrespectful for the price lol
Very disappointed! Literally just walked out of this place. Although it has great reviews, definitely left disappointed. Ordered 2 egg meal overhard with beef sausage. Waited a good 15 minutes for the meal. Meal came out with bacon. Told the girl I ordered sausage. She apologized and took it back. 15 min later, meal comes back with sausage, but with scrambled eggs! I tell them, the I said just forget it. I didn't want to wait another 15 minutes just for them to bring me eggs. And the worst part of it was the food was cold. That's one of my biggest pet peeves. My gf ordered a veggie omelet and that came out fine. Overall I think if they would write down the orders instead of yelling them out to the guys who seem to be barely listening, this whole screw up could have been avoided. Smh. Ughhhh serving cold food that should be hot makes me cringe, but I don't like sending food back, especially twice!
I’m not sure why this place has high reviews. Food is unseasoned. I could not hold down the Mexican omelette. Potatoes bland. Turkey sussage tasted like frozen food.
I recently placed an order at that restaurant, and unfortunately, the chicken Caesar wrap I received was lacking any chicken at all. To add to the disappointment, both the French fries and home fries were surprisingly bland and lacked any discernible flavor. Overall, this experience has left me quite dissatisfied, and I have decided that I will not be ordering from there again in the future. It's truly disappointing when a meal falls short of expectations, especially when you're looking forward to enjoying a delicious dish. I hope that the restaurant takes feedback like this into consideration to improve the quality of their offerings for future customers.
I ordered a Café Mocha for delivery and had a very disappointing experience. The drink was supposed to include French vanilla flavoring and whipped cream, which was clearly shown in the item description and photo online. What I received was just a plain, flavorless coffee with none of the listed additions. At first, I wasn’t upset. Mistakes happen, and I simply tried to reach out to have the order corrected. Unfortunately, it was impossible to contact the restaurant by phone as no one answered. I was forced to go through a third-party chat, and after they (sauce) contacted the restaurant, I was told the order was correct and that they refused any refund or replacement. I wasn’t even asking for compensation. I just wanted the drink I originally ordered. I’ve ordered from this restaurant many times in the past and had no issues, so I expected better customer service. Instead, I felt dismissed and brushed aside. Because of what I experienced & the lack of accountability, I won’t be ordering/supporting a restaurant with bad customer service (#1 pet peeve bc common courtesy is not that hard) . I don’t feel comfortable supporting a business that won’t answer the phone or take responsibility when something goes wrong.
Food is decent . They stop answering the phone and closes the store around 11:30 for break like get more staff . The girl who answers the phone is rude she just hung up on me
Expensive coffee, and they don’t allow laptops even when there are more than 10 empty tables. Feels stingy and far from the warmth and hospitality you’d expect from a New York coffee shop.
