Saragina's Brooklyn Reviews
Love this place. Just wish they had more space to sit and relax with the coffee or baked goods. Take out and evening has a nice restaurant. Very tasty and good service.
have such a sweet experience each time we come here. the perfect neighborhood spot! our server zoe was amazing & made us feel super welcome. get the tiramisu!!!
Visited Saraghina after a friend advised that it served the 'best brunch in Brooklyn'. When I visited, I had to wait roughly 35 minutes to be seated but the brunch definitely made it worthwhile. While I wasn't able to sample every brunch in Brooklyn during my stay there, Saraghina was definitely the best by far. The crispy bacon, sunny side up eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice were amazing. The blueberry pancakes is a must have! To top it off they have the most wonderful staff!
I loved it here and will be back. My pasta dish was very good but a little dry.
Pretty much everything is delicious and the pizzas are the closest to the ones I had in Italy. Edit. In my original review I mentioned the chocolate mousse but they have changed it into serving it on a plate in a sloppy way without the whipped cream. It’s really not as good a dessert without the balance of the cream with the salty mouse and the presentation really leaves much to be desired. I have had that mousse during great dates and tearful break up conversations and simply as a pick me up after a long week so I have vivid memories of its taste at its best. I hope they post a decent explanation as to why they made this change, like how the costs got too high or something, because from a purely culinary perspective it’s a downgrade
Grabbed dinner with a friend. She had the brick chicken and the mushroom risotto. The brick chicken was just ok, it doesn't come with any sides and it was a bit 'hard'. Also had a lake of gravy, which made it a trying dish to eat. But the mushroom risotto was glorious. If you like mushrooms you will love this dish. I had the cacio de pepe and tuna carpaccio and they were both very good. The tuna carpaccio was well seasoned, with a delightful oil. The portion was a bit small though. The cacio de pepe was also very good, rich and maybe a bit too peppery for those who are not fans of spicy foods Service was ok. Our wait staff didn't check in on us, but It is a big restaurant with a confusing layout, so I feel they are busy than it would appear. If you go, I would recommend sitting in the garden with its eclectic decorations.
First off this place has been here for years always walked by saw it was always crowded couldn't figure out why. WELLLL, the food was amazing and the service was excellent as well. We went for brunch I ordered the two eggs any style with mozzarella cheese and my husband ordered the steak and eggs. The ambience was rustic and barnyard feel. Go hungry leave happy. First time there but won't be our last. O yeah so you don't make the same mistake and ask for a spoon to stir your coffee they have baby spoons for that 😁😁
EDIT I have to say I'm impress with their customer's service. Within hours I got a message from their manager apologizing for this mistake. He said it was totally unacceptable and offered me a full refund. I felt sorry, as I know we are in difficult times and business is extremely important. So I said I'll give them another try. He invited me to order another pizza and don't pay for it. And he was on top of it. That speaks huge to me about their commitment to customer's satisfaction. I have to recognize that I was a little upset when I posted this review. Besides, all of my friends love their pizza and their pastries are really good so they do deserve a 5 star review. I'm getting a new pizza in a the next days and I will make sure to update my review accordingly. *************** I heard so many good things about Saraghina. The pastries were good. And I was so excited to try their pizza. However my pizza experience was very disappointing. I ordered a simple pie with cheese, onions and mushrooms. I can't have any meat, specially pork, in my pizza. But when I opened the pizza, I found a piece of ham. I didn't feel secure continuing eating the pizza. I was too tired to go back to the restaurant (it was a 20 min walk in one direction) and it took me 10 min to check every single slice just in case there were more pieces of unexpected ham. By then the pizza was cold and far away from that "great experience" everyone talks about. I won't be buying pizza from them anymore.
We had the prosciutto and funghi pizza with the coleslaw chicken sandwich. The pizzas here are fantastic have a fire ovens crust and softer dough interior. The flavors are well balanced. The chicken is juicy inside with a perfect breading and semi sweet glaze. The coleslaw balances the sweetness of the chicken glaze really well and each bite feels like a reward. Service is great and interior has a great vibe with Latinx music. I definitely will be back.
Another awesome Brooklyn place, I was told after visiting I would have to travel to Brooklyn each time I wanted it, and it's true. We put our names in, and hung out in the bar for awhile which was completely fine, we got to catch up and hang for a bit with some delicious Italian margaritas, you don't typically think Italian and margaritas but these drinks are amazing. Rosemary infused tequila is my new favorite tequila, it's amazing, botanical but not overpoweringly earthy. We got brought to the back through what seemed like a secret pantry into a back room in the corner booth, we ordered another round of margaritas and started with the octopus, this was actually ordered by mistake, I blame my little bros use of the word octopus but it was completely fine because our starter was amazing. Wild Octopus, Taggiasca Olives, Red Onion, Cherry Tomatoes, Gigante Beans, Celery, Chili & Lemon this salad was fresh, light and packed with the perfect flavor combinations. Decided to go with 2 pizzas our first was the MARGHERITA San Marzano Tomatoes, House-made Mozzarella & Basil loved this one, being cooked in a wood fired pizza just gives a special flavor to pizza that is the best. The second pizza we had was SALSICCIA San Marzano Tomatoes, House-made Mozzarella, Heritage Pork Sausage, Kalamata Olives & Basil my word this was also delicious, the flaky thin crust is now my favorite style of pizza. Visit this place if you have the chance, it's amazing!
I always love a Saraghina Pizzeria night. Feels like a bougie occasion for sure. Been coming here on a special night ever since I was a kid! I absolutely love the atmosphere, great low lighting and interior design details. The pizza is great quality and absolutely delicious. I always grab a margherita alongside a speciality pie and an app/salad. They don’t take reservations so expect to wait a bit. It’s always super busy and chatty. But lovely neighborhood to take a little walk in while you wait.
Saraghina rules. Exquisite ambience, divine food, and fantastic drinks. It’s everything that people have come to associate with Brooklyn in one place. I’ve been a few times, and while there’s always a wait, (and you can always grab a cocktail at the bar next door while you wait) I’ve never had a bad experience!
Extremely consistent quality based on mostly home made ingredients (Yes they even have a house-made mozarella) and an extremely obvious positive passion for great food experiences makes this place a continuous phenomenal pizza (mostly) experience way above the "above standard" seen from other New York City offerings. Nothing gets close to this! Pizza prices are fair. Alcohol/beer a bit too pricey. Staff is always nice and helpful. Bottomline: Prices really don't matter here: Because you're getting something unique that is overall utterly incomparable.
I have to say thus far my favorite pizza in NYC. One of the best Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. Highly recommend the Napoli (Sicilian anchovies included) and the winner ortolano (white pizza) both are a delicious. The truffle cacio e pepe is just right. Top it all off with the chocolate mousse. I recommend ordering a few different things and sharing. A+
This place is a vibe. Every aspect was pleasant and beautiful. I ordered a gluten free Salsiccia. Listen, the crust was so good, I was afraid they'd gotten my order strong and braced for impact. This is truly one of the best gluten free pizza crusts! The dark chocolate mousse is also amazing. Every staff member I encountered was beyond sweet and pleasant
We visited Saraghina Pizzeria on our very first night in New York, fresh off the plane from Manchester, UK — and while we were both running on empty after a long day of travel, the restaurant still made a strong impression. The service was first class — warm, attentive, and relaxed — exactly what we needed after a hectic arrival. The food was genuinely lovely: well-made, flavourful, and clearly handled with care. We both really enjoyed what we ordered, and the setting had a great energy — stylish without feeling forced, and buzzing with local life. That said, we were both far too tired to fully appreciate the experience at the time. If anything, it’s a spot we’d love to revisit with fresher eyes (and a sharper appetite) on another trip. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the place or the experience — it just deserved a more well-rested version of us.
A neighborhood staple. Great atmosphere and amazing food. I would eat here every night if I could afford it 😅
Had a lovely experience here. It's a very cozy neighborhood pizzaria by night and bakery by day. I'd recommend going hungry, with friends and share pizza(s). The mussels were really good and the fresh salad was great too. Sorbet was delightful. They can make all their coffees decaf and have non-dairy alternatives. Really loved this place and had such a great server who was attentive but could also tell when we didn't need attention.
As someone who live in Italy for 4 years, I would say Saraghina’s pizza tastes pretty authentic (better than a lot of other Italian pizza places in New York I’ve been to) the restaurant would get a little busy during dinner time, but the atmosphere is good and they serve good cocktails too.
One of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. Great cocktails, pasta, and pizza. 10/10 every time.
I was visiting someone who lives in the neighborhood but he was at work all day so I thought I’d sit at a bar and have a couple beers and a pizza. Low and behold, it’s pretty good Neapolitan style pizza with a nice bar, some unique selections and a friendly but not overbearing staff. Some good selections of spirits at the bar, too.
Great pizza, great service, and awesome decor / dining area. Def recommend this to any Neapolitan-pizza lover. I got the Bufala on gluten free (their gluten free crust is to die for), their chocolate mousse, and a chocolate martini. The pizza was chewy on the inside and crunchy on the out. The flavors were perfect. The chocolate mousse was hardy and delicious. The chocolate martini was strong and to the point, as a martini should be. Will definitely be coming back to this classic spot.
Great service, great pizza. Stand outs were brussel sprouts and affogato. Bartenders were dialed -not too loud inside also.
This is one of my local favorites. There's usually a wait if you're trying to get a table around prime dinner time. They have a nice garden with lots of seating and outdoor seating curbside during covid times. The vegetables are always delicious. My favorites are the pea leaves and brussel sprouts. Their pizzas are fantastic and are a little larger than individual size. If I get a pizza, I'll usually share a side of pasta and a side of veggies. Top it off with some wine and cocktails and it's a perfect date night.
32 years in New York and fellow restauranteur and this is hands down my favorite restaurant in New York. Food remains consistent over the years. My happy place.
We got the fried seafood appetizer, a pasta, and carbonara pizza. It was an incredible meal all around! I was intrigued about the pizza but also a little nervous - it turned out to be amazing. I can’t wait to go back. The deduction is because there seemed to be only one server on staff that night.
I've been coming here for years, and it is far and away my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood to bring friends/family to or go alone. I had a particular experience here on my own that I will remember for the rest of my life chilling at the bar with mulled cider and enjoying the cozy ambience. I had the salsiccia pizza with housemade chili oil, and I cannot recommend it enough:)
I love Saraghina. Go to spot for years now for solid food, great drinks, and chill but edgy vibes. Always love their greens and salmon, pizzas are dope, really everything. TBH I haven’t ever loved their wine list but everything else about this classic Bed Stuy staple is loveable. Also pro tip, go early enough to get to LUNATICO for excellent music afterward. This is a solid corner of Brooklyn :-)
Love Saraghina! The food is amazing every time, definitely some of the best food in Bed-Stuy. Service was friendly and chill, and the staff made us feel really comfortable. Only downside was that the front outdoor area was closed, so sitting with a dog in the back patio was tough since it was super crowded. Still, great vibe and great food — would 100% come back!
It’s like a perfect 4.5 / 5. The vibe inside is so adorable and cosy and I love how it felt quiet and buzzy at the same time. The food was kind of hit or miss in the end. The apps were honestly amazing, ESPECIALLY the salmon carpaccio — I would eat 100 of those every day. The pasta and pizze were good, but not like groundbreaking. The pizza dough was 🔥 but the sauce and mozzarella could have had more flavor. Will most like be coming back!
Everything came out soooo quickly (almost too fast). 20 min wait for a table. Table wine is nothing to write home about but the pizza (we got funghi and tartufo) was amazing, the meatballs (polpetti) were TOP NOTCH, the sourdough was perfect, and the pasta is also delicious (we got ravioli alla norma). Highly recommend.
This is on my dinner favourites list forever now omg I will be coming back FREQUENTLY. Went for the first time last night and everything was ON POINT. It was packed for a Friday night and somehow I got seated for my party of 2 within minutes of being there. Interior is cute and cozy. We were seated in the backyard space and it was just so nice, weather, ambiance, not so loud, music was actually really nice also. Cute date spot or to catch up with friends. Vibe was a 10/10 for me. We ordered A LOT so here we go: Drinks: - espresso martini - very good and it was strong but not overbearing. - Negroni sbagliato with Prosecco - finally tried it, too many bubbles for me but she’s good. - Margarita Italiano - that’s a cute drink fr, little too sweet for me but still delicious!! - Negroni Classico - my fav, hit the spot. Food: - mushroom risotto - star of the night ???? Omg I would get this as an entree why is this in the sides?? It’s earthy, creamy, has very subtle chunks of mushroom in there. The taste is exquisite. I will ALWAYS order this - Brussel sprouts - these are really some of the best brussel sprouts I’ve had, I will say after a while it’s quite sweet but overall I would have to play by ear if this is something I wanna order again or skip - Fresh baked focaccia and whipped ricotta - so light and fluffy. I love the bits of olive and there’s also a hint of sweetness in there, lemon is a lovely touch - Cacio E Pepe - safe dish to order, flavorful and filling, one thing I just wish it was creamier - Winter ortolana - it’s unique definitely, squash weighs the slice down a bit which is kind of annoying but the taste is quite nice. I feel like a balsamic glaze would take this further. Also that crust is SO DAMN GOOD - misticanza insalata - I feel like it’s missing a protein or an additional vegetable but overall flavourful, I don’t feel the need to order again tho I LOVE this place. 10000% coming back I’m so ready to eat more.
I’ve been to Saraghina about a dozen times now and I love this place. Brunch is amazing here I highly recommend the steak and eggs and the pancakes. For dinner you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but make sure to ask about portions as some dishes were small. The bar makes awesome drinks so don’t skip ordering one when you visit. My favorite dish here is the Cacio e Pepe.

The atmosphere is everything here. Great lighting and the table set up is awesome. Doesn’t feel too cramped and it feels like you get your own little spot on the floor. I haven’t tried the bar yet and not sure I will since it’s mostly a standing affair and is usually packed, but in a way that’s a good thing here - by not taking reservations this spot always feels like a proper neighborhood joint. Great vibes all around. The pizza was awesome. We had the prosciutto funghi and the spicy artichoke pizza. My date got it with a GF crust and it was actually pretty good. The regular crust is great too, it has a slight sourdough tang to it that I loved. The mozzarella is top of its class and I loved that they used a thick cut of prosciutto. Mushrooms were fantastic as well. It did take a little bit to get one of our pizza’s remade. It’s a neopolitan style spot so I expect they use a firebrick oven situation with limited space so make sure you specify your order correctly! We made the mistake of forgetting to mention the GF crust initially since we modified the coppa pie to be vegetarian, so that was definitely our bad. We also had desert which I definitely recommend if you have the space. I got their cheesecake which was phenomenal! It felt very authentic and house made and if it wasn’t made in house then they’re definitely sourcing it from a great bakery because that may have been the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. My date had the affogato and that was stellar too. Hard to mess that up, but the espresso was great and the gelato was top notch. Overall a great dining experience and I’ll def be coming back. Either with friends or even on my own. I want to try more of that menu out.
Been there more than 20 times, love all their food, the pizza I praised to all my friends, the people, the set up, but only issue is that you need to order your drinks by two. Hear me, I drink my beer at a good pace, ok, but it takes them the time for me to eat one pizza to get me the 2nd beer I ordered when the pizza arrived (first beer was gone just waiting for the pizza). I love the waiters, but something needs to be improved. This happens most of the time I'm there. It's not new. It's relatively consistant slow bar output. So just order your beers by two.
Got the margarita pizza. It was good. Espresso martinis were good but very small
We have been to the bakery next door for delicious coffee and croissants, so we wanted to try the restaurant. Unfortunately we couldn't get a table inside, so we sat outside, which was ok, except a little cold. I had the anchovy and olive pizza which was crispy and not too heavy and my friend had a tomato vases pasta which was also good. We also had a green salad which had a lovely light dressing. We enjoyed the house wine. Very popular spot as it was very busy
Very hyped pizzeria does indeed make a solid pie. Im no pizza snob or whatever, but I can tell fresh, quality ingredients from the latter. This pie was great. We got the Napoli, which is just a margherita with anchovies & olives. It resembled a pie i had in Rome a couple of years ago. I could taste the quality of anchovies. Salad was good, some sort of vinaigrette on it. All in all, 1/2 liter of wine, a pizza, and salad after tax & tip for two is $80.
Tried this place for brunch and my experience was that it was pretty good. My server seemed pretty nice and I ordered the mimosa with the hangar steak and eggs. Even though I had a little problem when the dish first came out, (the medium steak I ordered was burnt to all hell and looked like it fell in the grill and the flame), once I asked for it to be done again, it came out looking beautiful and tasting pretty good too. Despite that setback, the place seemed chill and the food and drink was delicious. I would recommend, just don't be shy to say what you want.
Stopped by here when the weather was beautiful and I sat in their outdoor seating. Very spacious and you don’t feel crowded in the garden seating which I appreciated. My friend ordered the Misticanza Insalata which was mixed greens salad with vinaigrette. It was a bit heavy on the vinaigrette so I recommend letting them know how much you want before you get your salad. Ordered the regular Margherita and the Bufala (gluten free). They looked pretty similar. The pizzas are certainly filling and had good flavor. I would recommend visiting especially if you want a lowkey place that’s not packed to catch up with a friend and have some pizza! I appreciated that the most.
Went for pizza and pasta. Pizza was good but the Caico e Pepe was the star for this meal. I would have like the pizza was a little more crispy on the bottom but still delicious
Love Saraghina, but I wish the portions weren't so small for the price. :( The gossip around town is that they've gotten smaller over the years, but I'm not certain. My bitter paloma was amazing though, and service is always so nice. I like coming here on a weekday evening; always so calm and cozy with the warm lighting.
We got the roast pumpkin/squash pizza, cacio pépé and the branzino pasta. The cacio pépé was delicious, punchy and very flavourful. However, the pumpkin pizza was too sweet and the branzino pasta was lackluster. They have a lot of seating indoors and we chose to sit outside. Service was very slow, both to take orders and send out food. The table mat papers were not weighed down properly and some wind knocked over glass at one of the other tables and service took a long time to clean it up even though there were many people, especially children walking in the area as it was halloween.

Not bad The taste was ok The cashier man was respectful The place look new They got 1.50 cheese pizza regular slice They don’t have a restroom They fast
First time I came it was so good. Atmosphere and vibes are so cute and the food is pretty good. Second time I came there was a dead bug on our plate so requested a new one. idk if they got new waiters but they had such a bad attitude about it but why would we eat off of a dirty plate with a dead bug on it? And then the water glass was so dirty that there was a white ring around it and again I requested a new one and again, horrible attitude about it. The appetizer came before our water even. Just horrible customer service and cleanliness was a 1/10. Only giving 3 stars because food was pretty good and vibes are cute. Will not be returning tho hahah
Came by the other night for dinner and wasn’t really impressed. There were great review so we had high expectations. The portions were small and the food sided to the salty side. Service was great tho! My fav thing was the cacio e Pepe - so good! We also got the focaccia which just tasted like regular bread tbh. The fried seafood was good but small. Brussels sprouts were tasty but a bit too salty and slightly burnt. We also got the Napoli pizza which was SO salty. We thought it might be the fish or olives but even after removing those from the pie, it was still salty.
Ok so the first time I went it here it was to die for… the seasonal pizza omg. Would give them 10 stars. However we just ordered takeout… the vegan cheese is soo scarce and it’s ~$4 xtra, and the portion of the dessert (see pictures for reference i have child like hands) the tiramisu was $12 and we got like a 3oz plastic solo cup… what a rip off
Front of house, bar staff & runners/bus boys were so welcoming on Friday night. Unfortunately, our server wasn’t and passed by many times without checking in or offering another drink. We actually had to flag him down to ask for a second one. Appetizers were amazing. Salmon was cooked perfectly but way overpriced for the size/presentation. Vegetable medley that it came with was definitely overcooked. My friend ordered pizza and we waited about 5-6 minutes after my fish arrived to ask the runner to check on it. I saw him speak with our server & he instantly went to the POS to enter the order. He didn’t explain the delay, just simply came over & said it would be out “soon”. We waited about 10 more minutes and it arrived. I have difficulty sending food back, so does my friend so we ate our salmon & pizza. We would’ve been perfectly okay with just having drinks & appetizers without main course. We were quickly offered tiramisu if we “want”. We didn’t. I had a lot of friends tell me how great this restaurant is, and my partner told me it wasn’t the best, so I went with the majority opinion. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed and hope management will talk to certain staff about checking in with guests. I know we’re all under incredible stress due to Covid but he had no issue chatting with other tables, checking in, etc. I made sure to see if it was just us, and it was for some weird reason. We both work in service, always say thank you & are patient when there are delays. Maybe we will stop by another time but I’m not fully convinced.
I quite literally had the worst pizza of my life at this place which is really hard to do because… how do you mess up pizza? No seriously, how? The staff was really nice and the atmosphere was great, but to be call a pizzeria I feel like the pizza should be at least decent.
Wait times are pretty long for inside seating and the outside seating, while clean, is loud and noisy from the cars zooming on the street. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about, and there aren't too many options on the menu if you wanted meat in your dish. I honestly wouldn't eat here again because the cheese is so thick it won't break on a first bite, so I felt like I was choking on it. The distribution of how it's spread on the pizza is all wrong. I also think the prices are overrated.
I ordered the hanger steak which is one of the most expensive items on the menu and thus should revive careful attention from the kitchen. The meat was perfectly cooked but the roasted potatoes wer…

Good food, a bit over priced with bad service. I was overcharged 16 bucks. I wondered why dinner for one, with no drinks was 77 hucks with tip. When I got home I. checked the online and realized …
Very overrated. Spent too much. House red wine was pretty good but the food was nothing special. I don’t make pizza at home but the other food I could make less complicatedly but just as good or better. Based on one visit. Had fun. Tiramisu dessert is not actually tiramisu and the pasta’s not great, just regular pasta and sauce, slightly upscale, I suppose. I think a big piece of bread is $6. Would have been happy if the prices were halved.
We chose this restaurant based off proximity to our accommodation and the good reviews. The environment is beautiful, well decorated and clean. The service was very good as well (when someone would come by but it was kind of hard to get someone at the communal table despite the waitstaff area being right next to it.) We saw our waiter at the beginning and when the food was brought, after that he didn't come back, but they were busy with private tables. Someone else gave us the bill and processed the payment. The food was just okay, nothing overly impressive. Ordered a Margherita pizza and a Shirley temple. The Shirley temple was not made well, very sour. As far as the pizza- I'm particular with sauce and like a sweeter base, but I'm okay with ones that aren't. The sauce wasn't good, it just tasted like pure tomato sauce and didn't compliment the rest of the flavor. Crust was decent- Crispy with a good chew- and I'm a big fan of brick oven but the burnt taste was overwhelming at some bits. The basil was really minimal and didn't have a lot of flavor/didn't taste fresh, and the cheese was a bit rubbery where the whole piece would come off with the bite. I may have said something if anyone would have checked in with us, but we were also pretty hungry from a long day in the city and it was edible. I would not revisit.
Great atmosphere, excellent service and good-looking food. Our meatball pizza had an odd taste and everyone in the family that ate of it got sick overnight. A shame this ruined an otherwise pleasant dining experience.
Recently I had brunch and another time a drink at the bar. The omelet was lukewarm and on a busy Sunday night there was only one bartender making drinks and being the busboy. Long wait. As a long-t…

I’ve been a Saraghina guest for 5 years. They’ve been reducing quantity of food, especially on pizza, to an unacceptable level. I ordered a pizza today. The diameter of the pizza is slightly bigger than my hand! Increase your price and feed people! Be fair about what people can expect. This is ridiculous.
My $30 pizza was cold and burnt and my ginger beer was unsealed with most of it missing. So weird to send out a predrank bottle. I want my $5 back. Took an hour and a half to be delivered. I called the restaurant to get my $5 refunded on the one ginger beer that was predrank and they said they’d talk to the manager and call me back, but never did.
Just ate at this place the food was ok but what really stood out is the attitude of our server who was female might be 100 pounds wet about 4ft she was horrible not a smile took our check without saying Thankyou.....Doesn't pay to be so UGLY if you don't want certain people in your establishment just put a sign up.... Otherwise I feel like I wasted my money and should have NEVER given a tip...
This place is 100% not worth the money. At $23, the pasta portion was miniscule and not nearly tasty enough. This place deserves 0 stars sadly. You'll leave with an empty wallet and an empty stomach sadly. Definitely will not be giving this place another shot. I already lost money here, why would I give them more? Again overpriced and to be honest the portion size is shameful. The meals were not that good. Save your money.
Dined in with my husband and my mom Christmas week. While the atmosphere inside was cozy, our experience was very disappointing. We were having a nice evening catching up when our night was abruptly cut short in a way that felt completely unfair. The server told us we needed to leave because they had guests waiting to be seated. It was a quiet Tuesday evening however and the kitchen was going to be closing in a half hour. We even looked around and saw that there were a few empty tables, but we continued to make our way out regardless. From the outside we noticed that no one was seated at the table, so out of confusion we went back in to ask why we were told to leave. We got a poor excuse that the guests who wanted the table ended up changing their minds and left, and that they have a 90 minute dining limit which is not mentioned anywhere (even the server who told us to leave never said this). It was quite embarrassing to say the least, no guest should ever feel that unwelcome and uncomfortable. I hope that management takes a closer look at how these situations are handled for future guests, but between the rude treatment and lackluster food, we will never be back.
I had sea bass pasta for dinner. What I got looks like a side dish or an appetizer. But it’s $28 and listed as a main dish, and I was initially charged for $29. The portion may be acceptable for a French restaurant but it’s an Italian place! Never had such a small main dish from an Italian restaurant. Disappointed!
