Neighborhood AllStar for years .. the service and food are equally satisfying. They provide a little bit of everything for the diverse people who live in the area. It's not just a snack spot. It's a place to get a really nice plate of food or a fresh made sandwich. The selection of pastries are always fresh and delicious. They also have a large selection of beverages coffee, teas ,Bobo teas, etc.. On top of all that, they make awesome cakes for any occasion . Support local shops. Stop by and treat yourself.

This was completely a surprise. I didn't expect the blue berry muffin to be so good. A hidden gem here and you would love any thing prepared here.

I have never been to this place in person, but my uncle use to get me coconut cocktail buns from her when I was a kid. It has been like 15 years since I have eaten a coconut bun from here because I live in TX, and my dad brought some back from his latest visit and they put the same tear in my eye. I hope they never stop selling these buns and even decide to ship one day 🙌🏿

The donuts at this bakery are out of this world. They’re light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The selection is varied, and each one I’ve tried has been amazing. The shop is small, so there’s not much seating, but it’s perfect for grabbing a box to go.

Savoy Bakery is my go-to place for a quick bite in the morning, especially when I'm running late for work. The train station is just a few steps away, so it's super convenient. The pastries are amazing, they're always warm and flaky and melt in your mouth. They have a lot of variety too, from croissants to muffins, danishes, and my personal favorite scallion hot dog and roasted pork pie. They also have a very decent lunch menu, coffee, and bubble tea. They're all delicious and satisfying. Savoy Bakery is a gem in the neighborhood!!!

I'm from Queens but whenever I'm in the area I always try to go here. Their stuff is always fresh and so yummy, a real hidden gem. I always get the lemon pie, my favorite. Dreadful that I haven't tried their drinks yet but I will soon, hopefully.

Good environment, friendly staff, cute interior, very cheap prices. Unique selection of pastries/cakes. There's typical Latino/Spanish-style treats like basque burnt cheesecake and tres leches cake, but also the shop has boba tea. I'm also pretty sure they're Kosher/Halal friendly (or would hope so) considering they serve a lot of pastries with frankfurters in them and the area they're located in is very Jewish. Ordered a lychee tea and the flavor was really prominent (in a good way). The chicken pie and cheesecake were also really good, the cheesecake's crust and consistency was a great change of pace from the typical NY cheesecake I'm used to.

Our hotel doesn't have free breakfast and this bakery is just a 2 minute walk. The experience was great. Food was great and the staff is friendly.

Great place, loved the buns and the Spam Masubi. Went there just to get coffee while my car was getting repaired at Mitchell's on 39th (also one of the best mechanics in Brooklyn). Looking at the menu, it had all the traditional items you would find so I ordered a few basics (coconut bun, raisin lemon bun) and something interesting: their Spam Masubi. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the baked goods and flavorful fillings. What's more, the Masubi was amazing! Great place off of the D train 39st station if want a quick bite or something to take for dinner at home after work.

I usually don’t go for muffins but as other reviewers said their muffins have something in them that make them very good. It’s tender and moist and reasonably sized!

I’ve tried other bubble tea places but this is by far my favorite! Milk tea with bubbles is my go to and the pastries are delicious, my family really like the cakes from here 😌✨I definitely recommend, just be mindful it’s cash only!!

It's similar to the other locations of this Chinese bakery chain. Most of the baked goods are pretty good and definitely meet expectations. The drinks are fine as well. Nothing too special but definitely gets you your fix of buns on the way to the train.

Good food and prices. I like the Savoy by the 45th st R station, although that Bakery is now has a different name I suspect the two Bakeries are part of the same family as the staff and menu haven't changed too much since the place on 45 was called Savoy. Nice position right by the far side of 8th ave and by the D line make this place a great breakfast/snack stop if your in the area. The Coconut cream bun is pretty good although not as good as the normal coconut bun or hotdog bun on 45th. Overall the Savoy's worth a try if your around.

Their food and drinks are delicious, but they treat customers like trash. There's an old woman working there who is always rude, no matter how much you spend or how polite you try to be. She's been working there for a long time as I've lived in the neighborhood my entire life to remember her. They don't like to admit their mistakes and wants to put a price on everything possible. I wouldn't be surprised if they charged customers for straws and knapkins.
