I hosted my birthday party here on Saturday and everyone had a blast! Huge thank you to the 2 bartenders working that night, they were great!

It's fishy. But not Phishy. Mythical murals all the way back. Grade A fish sandwich all the way front.

My friend and I hosted our joint birthday here earlier in the month and it was fantastic! It was so easy to coordinate everything, the staff was so welcoming and jovial, our guests loved the food, drinks, and vibes, and it didn’t break the bank. Many thanks to Sea Witch for making our bday special!

The Sea Witch is such a gem! Friends recommended it to us and it didn't disappoint. The bar has a soothing fish tank, and Marty, the bartender, took great care of us and even entertained my questions about the fish. ("Do you have a favorite?" and "Do they have names?" Answers were yes and yes.) I can't speak for the food because we didn't order any but the cocktails were delightful and the selection of spirits was great. A+ service, drinks, Atmos, and comeraderie.

Martin was a true delight; we happened upon this bar late night Sunday and he was so kind and attentive. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks! What a great gem in Brooklyn. (:

Far far coolest bar in NYC. Food, drinks, vibes and kitsch on point. Don’t change anything. Shoutout to Josh and bar team.

You ever find a place so cool that you almost don't want to review it and risk making it too popular? That's this place. They have koi ponds, little turtles, good food and a solid beer list. Perfect weird neighborhood bar

The entire meal flowed without a single mistake. Their menu includes both classics and specialties. Your money is well spent here. Notably warm, accommodating, thorough. I thoroughly liked this place and plan to come back!

Who doesn’t love Sea Witch?! The bartenders are super cool, the cocktail menu is killer, and the atmosphere is everything—witchy nautical vibes with a legit decked out fish tank behind the bar and a koi pond in the backyard, where you might even be lucky enough to see a cat! Yes please. Not to mention their extensive and most excellent draft beer selection, eclectic and surprisingly delicious food menu, and incredibly sweet food-order-takers who have happily brought my food out to me even though you get the vibrating thing to go get it yourself. I think I speak for all of south Brooklyn when I say, if I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!!

This place was such an amazing find - will definitely visit EVERY time we’re in the area. The backyard is a beautiful oasis; you feel like you’re out of the city!

Super chill atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and chill. The food was amazing! Hats off to Chef Mo. The fish tacos were fresh, crispy on the outside and juicy inside just like the popcorn shrimp. The nuggets were juicy and tasty. The burgers were juicy and super flavorful. Everything was absolutely amazing! Definitely coming back!

Love the staff here. They are always creative when it comes to their drinks. Their food is also really good and pairs well with the place. I miss their full aquarium but I think they will start to rebuild again!

It’s a nice neighborhood bar. They offer nice variety of beers and tasty food. There’s even a backyard with a little pond - a perfect spot to chill on a summer night.

I was very happy to stumble across this place. The kitchen is open very late and the food is actually really really good. The bartenders were all very cool. The music in there is picked based on who is bartending so the first night I walked in it was completely different than the next and the last. Awesome fish tank to stare at while getting drinks. Besides the fact that people from New York go to this bar, because it's in Brooklyn I think, it's a nice bar. But the patrons are generally trash because people from there are rude and loud and think they own the block.

Love the décor and space. Eclectic crowd, not too loud and spacious. Plenty of beer on tap. Not the best cocktails though.

Stopped in here for a quick bite with 2 small children just as it opened. Place was clean and kids loved the aquarium behind the bar and the koi pond and stream in the back patio. Good selection of draft beers. You order food at a window, selection is basic bar food of burgers, chicken, taco's, BLT sprinkled with po-boy's and keilbasa. On Tuesday nights, if you order fries with your meal, you get a free draught beer. Our food was hot and came out quickly. Our bar tender was very informative and attentive. We would definitely come back!

Fun local bar with a nautical theme. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The mixed drinks were great and beer selection had a good options. Bar food was decent variety (including seafood options to keep with the theme) Got the burger (which came with friends). On the smaller end but taste good. They do charge extra (3.5%) for credit card.

What a waste of a good atmosphere. Had a nightcap with family visiting the city. We stopped in for one drink and called it a night for their first day. While paying, my elder relative tried making small-talk about drink-making related ingredients that were on the counter. Barely even 10 words out of her mouth. This was enough to set off the bartender into a monologue of being offended. At first we thought it was was a joke, but we quickly realized there was no punch line. This was an incredibly uncomfortable end to the night, I can not recommend this place to anyone after witnessing the treatment of a patron. I can understand bartenders get comments all the time, but the comment from my relative was so incredibly mild, the response was uncalled for - retrain your staff. We won't be returning regardless of the fish. Sept, 19 - 10PM

Really disappointed in this place... I live near by and finally went to see what it was all about. Perhaps my expectations were too high... Service at the bar was terrible, waited 15mn before one of the two bartenders finally noticed me even though I was seated in the middle with a nearly empty bar. Was asked for ID which he took and than held onto while going about stacking dirty glasses and serving another patron before even looking at my ID than asking my date for the same (I'm 42yrs old mind you) and doing the same side work before saying sorry he was busy and can now serve us. Asked about ordering food and said something we couldn't hear execept he needed a credit card if we were ordering drinks and needed to leave the tab open for food. As it turns out the food has to be ordered yourself at the front door as there is no server... That's fine, should make it clearer or perhaps I should have read about that before going, somehow I missed that. Thought it was a Seafood restaurant/bar. Was looking forward to some good food and drinks. Had a nice beer menu (written above the bar, though no hint of a menu). Beautiful Salt Water fish tank and simple outdoor seating and a few tables inside. Ordered the food, and left my phone number for them to call when it was ready to be picked up. Small Handcut Fries, Fried Clam Sandwich, and Fried Shrimp Basket, sounds yummy. Nope... the fries were more like wilted shoestring fries, small indeed, the Fried Clam Sandwich hardly had any clams, 90% fried batter bits! The fried shrimp.. yeah, I've had better at a fast food place. Tiny, dried, shrimp that were probably sitting around for a while... all that and two Alagash White beers for almost $50.00. Really disappointing. Plus trying to get another beer (the saving grace) was near impossible as well... and not just for me, but other patrons too. Guess all in all... go there for socializing and the drinks (only had beer, whisch they had a nice listing of taps) but avoid the food and be prepared to wait and be ignored... The food wasn't worth the time to take a photo of... even had to go and get pizza right after...
