Creative specials and great lunch options. So good!
Love ordering from them! They are always so nice over the phone and they remember my allergies before I even say it❤️
I always order from this place since i work and the area and they are phenomenal!! Fast service/delivery and the fish is always fresh. Also, they are very affordable 10/10 would recommend.
Pretty damn delicious. Rolls tend to lean on the sweeter side due to the sauces they drizzle on top, so if you don't want that, make sure you let them know. Otherwise, great food, they remember you pretty immediately if you become a regular, and they could put up with us after 2 bottles of saki deep so the service is at the very least patient.
10/10 would recommend it exceeded my expectations, the service was great the waitress came back a few times to check if we needed anything, the price was good the food was great, I got the Kani salad, spicy tuna roll and the California roll all so so good!
Not only is this, hands down, the best sushi in bay ridge, but the owner Suzie is the absolute best! She really makes us feel like family, but hey, maybe we are at this point after eating at or ordering shobu once a week for a decade…. PS: they yellowtail and salmon are always of spectacular quality. Great scallop sushi and spicy scallop rolls also. Everything is solid
The lunch roll option comes with a great price and taste. Came with miso (you can choose salad) and you can order until 4pm which is great. I would def order back. Rolls were good size, fish fresh, soup tasty (although might have been from powder) with little tofu and seaweed. Overall recommend and will return.
It was my first expirience here but guess not last. I enjoyed special rolls and salads that were great. Hot sake added tasty notes. Green tea was wonderful))) cozy backyard, a little quiet and intimately light are perfect ingredients of nice night. And special thanks for our waiter - her service was magnificent. Thanks a lot!!!
Had the eel avocado rolls and pad thai. The pad thai was not spicy which is good if you can't take spicy food. The eel avocado rolls was made fresh it came warm. It had a nice atmosphere inside and in the back is a backyard. But it was too hot to enjoy it.
Food was okay for the price, what is annoying is that one of the workers had their two sick children there. While caring for and touching these sick kids, was also serving food to customers. I literally just got over being sick, didn’t appreciate this type of inconsiderate service and treatment. People need to be more responsible and do what they can to not spread illnesses, especially while working in the food industry. Due to this it is doubtful myself or anyone else in my party will return to this establishment.
The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. I ordered the sushi deluxe with miso soup. The soup was salty. The bento box with beef negimaki and salmon teriyaki was average. The california roll was not prepared well and broke apart when attempting to eat. The eel avocado roll was good. Friendly staff. Parking is not easy to locate.
We had our food delivered last night. It came on time. The edamame which used to be in a much larger container has now been reduced to the size of a playing card.(maybe a tiny bit bigger ) At the bottom were edamame that had bumps all over it. I had to put salt on it, but that was not the main issue. We ordered 3 Alaskan rolls and the salmon was horrible and over salty. This is our go to dish so we know what it is supposed to taste like. My husband was not happy about the amount of wasabi that was given for 3 rolls. It was the size of quarter. We ordered salad and seaweed salad as well, mediocre. Not going back. We used to order from here and also eat at the restaurant but we are done.
