Old man is the head of the place, handling orders and frying skewers. Absolutely worth watching him frying, his technique to add extra layer of tempura was something I've never seen before. The hospitality was 10/10, not to mention their amazing tempura.

2022.12 Been here twice, both take out. They sell katsu and tempura only. They have a sister restaurant next to it, sell the same food but with rice, or curry rice....

filling to rice ratio left me v disappointed :( they used to do me good here, someone let me know when there is a reasonable amount of filling in the rice balls again

Walked up asking for Karage thinking it would be with sauce and toppings. After seeing what they served (chicken, rice, side of mayo) I asked about onions and pickles and they said they don’t do it. Right next door (same kitchen and staff) they have exactly that. What?! Would have been nice to be directed to the correct, identical stand run by the same people with better food… Do better.
