Warm staff and good food. Happy hour oysters are really good. Ive been coming here since it opened and it keeps getting better in every category. Service, food and drink. The care the bartender puts into service with anyone at the bar is really top notch. The menu has also become better each month and keeping me coming back.

After reading several reviews about this place, I decided to stop in for brunch. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the bartender/server Micah, and I was seated immediately. Even though the place is small, it has a real charm to it. I ordered the cheeseburger, and it was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The fries were good, too, but a bit on the crispy side. The bartender makes a really good Bloody Mary as well to accompany my meal. They have a good food (brunch) and drinks menu and everything is priced reasonably. Since the weather is still warm, they also have seating outside. Overall, this restaurant is such a nice little addition to the Windsor Terrace neighborhood, and I look forward to dining here again in the future.

Absolutely love this place! The service is great; very attentive and asking how everything is during the meal. Nice atmosphere. The food is delicious. Drinks are great- we had The Dirty Jersey and a Guinness, of course. The Guinness pours are done right here; two step pour and they clearly clean the tap lines. Highly recommend this neighborhood joint!

Extremely impressed with this unique restaurant in Windsor Terrace. The atmosphere is very nice with a warm fine dining vibe. The cocktails 🍹 were very good and I ordered a Manhattan. We ordered the Bangers and Mash … I feel it’s a must-have because it’s unique to the restaurant. Also ordered the seared scallops which were cooked perfectly. The raw oysters was a great and delicious starter. The glazed carrots were extremely delicious . Highly recommend 👍🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Enjoyed an excellent dinner a The Lonesome Club! The service from the staff first was enjoyable and very warm. To eat we had the bangers and mash, fish and chips, soda bread, curried potatoes, and the French onion soup. The bangers and mash were great real savory with the right amount of gravy. I enjoyed the fish and chips - it is very crunchy compared to fish and chips from a chip shop but I prefer them this way! To end we had the apple cake dessert. It was ok compared to the rest of the food

Pretty good Irish food. The chicken nuggets are house made and even have herbs in them. The black pudding is very good too. My wife didn’t even know it was pig blood she was eating. The butter is excellent. The scallops are perfectly cooked. The fries are excellent and still have the peel (which I prefer). Has all the classic Irish dishes and they are very well done.

The Lonesome Club is absolutely wonderful. The bartender is friendly, the servers are attentive, and the restaurant gave happy and chill vibes. Best of all, however, is the food. The food simply made me happy. Highly recommend coming here.

We had a wonderful lunch! Started with the soda bread, pasta and burgers for the kids. All gobbled up before I could take a picture. The adults had the full Irish breakfast, wedge, and corned beef hash and eggs. We all shared the desserts and the Guinness cake was the crowd favorite. The service was attentive, and the drinks were perfection! We can’t wait to go back for dinner.

Fantastic neighborhood spot; we've enjoyed brunch (Irish breakfast and corned beef hash were authentically hearty) and dinner here and everything tasted delicious. The chicken pot pie and beef stew were rich and skillfully prepared...cocktails were creative and refreshing, as was the Irish coffee. The service is stellar, we were very well taken care of by the attentive staff. Rounded things off with the Guinness chocolate cake, which was perfectly balanced by the cream filling. Couldn't ask for better, hope to enjoy meals here for years to come.

Fantastic restaurant with a great ambiance. We sat at the bar last night for a lovely dinner. We started with the prawns, then moved on to the fluke and the steak, with a side of colcannon of course. Everything was delicious. About midway through our meal an Irish band started playing in the main dining room. Excellent espresso martini and a creamy Guinness pour. Can’t wait to go back!

What a debut! Welcome to the neighborhood! Food, drinks, atmosphere; our new local corner establishment has it all. They somehow pulled off elevated and down to earth at the same time. Bravo!

Absolutely excellent place! The food is elevated, especially compared to the casual, old school vibe. My fluke and clams were delicately but sharply flavored with herbs and leek, and sipping the broth after the tender, perfectly cooked fish was almost as delightful as separating, dunking, and eating those tender bites. The clams were clean and sharp, made mild by the creamy sauce. My partner had an exceptional lobster roll, with everything she looks for. The fries were perfectly blanched and crisp on the outside, firm yet quickly collapsing on the inside. We shared cheese plate with excellent bread and crostinis, and she has a glass of good wine. The vibe can be seen in photo, and the place is charming, and the staff was very courteous, patient, and gracious. The only deduction is the child, likely the owner’s, running about and getting entirely too close to our table on several occasions. I understand it’s a family spot, and I’ll still give it 5 stars overall, but that was a mild detractor. I’ll definitely be visiting again, and my partner is excited to come along as well

Went here for my sister’s birthday and overall it’s absolutely worth going. The food is a straight 10/10. You cannot go wrong with a single item. Even the simplest dish is dressed and executed beautifully. We ordered across the menu — steak, fish, vegetarian — and every plate had someone raving. The kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing. Service could’ve been better. I mentioned it was her birthday and had to remind them about the candle, which slightly took away from the moment. The drinks were fine — the savory cocktails sound incredible on paper but didn’t quite land. Desserts were second tier compared to the savory menu. They looked polished, but didn’t have the same wow factor as the mains. Also slightly disappointing that nothing was comped for the birthday, though it didn’t ruin the night. Cute space, polished vibe — go early before it gets crowded. Still definitely recommend for the food alone.

Just want to show my appreciation for the delicious food and warm atmosphere! We ate in person and were very impressed. Then we ordered takeout and it was still just as high quality. We love the chicken pot pie, mixed green frisée salad, mashed potatoes, French onion soup and the Guinness chocolate cake. Keep up the great work!

Annoyed we didn't discover this hidden gem sooner! Recently opened in Windsor Terrace, we came by for a quiet lunch. Refreshing to sit in a Brooklyn restaurant that doesn't look like every other hipster Brooklyn restaurant. It reminds me of a modern UK-style chophouse or coastal seafood joint, with elegant decor and lots of natural light. It's classy yet cozy and has plenty of outdoor seating. Menu has great options for both food and drinks, and the dishes are prepared thoughtfully. I was craving Fish & Chips and theirs is served with hand-cut fries and both tartar and malt vinegar (essential!). The dessert was too big to finish so we took it home. Service is warm and welcoming!

Cozy place, good comfort food and service. BUT over priced for location and some dishes, a tiny “gem” salad which is a few pieces of lettuce, cheese and a piece of bacon..19$ are Manhattan/ Williamsburg prices — which takes away from integrity of a neighborhood go-to for locals, who are the primary patrons. Otherwise the food is very tasty :)

This place is relatively new. They are still ironing out the kinks as far as the food goes, but it was pretty decent for a new menu. Will definitely go back for the atmosphere and service which was exceptional. I expect the food will only get better.

Have been for lunch a couple times. The food is pretty good but the portions are very stingy and way overpriced. $12 for two(!) jalapeno poppers. Fish and chips is $26 for two small pieces of fish and a meagre helping of fries. $5 for iced tea served in a short glass absolutely chock full of ice, no refills. Pretty egregious. Servers are polite but amateurish and inattentive.

I have a gift card here and I still don’t want to come back. The food was overpriced and borderline inedible, won’t give you food poisoning, but not much better than that. The manager was oddly defensive and argumentative and the vibe was akin to a children’s playground- children were running around screaming, and far outnumbered the adults, who made no effort to control their offspring. Our server was lovely and making the most out of a poor experience. Hopes of alcohol remedying the experience, led to further disappointment, as the cocktails were watery and as poorly concocted as the rest of the restaurant. 0 /10 do not recommend.

Visiting family in Brooklyn and we stopped by for a bite. The drinks were delicious. Definitely not worth the price . Food on the other hand wasn’t great mediocre at best. The flavors were flat. It’s the kind of meal you forget about the moment you leave. Would not recommend.
