Winner in the Park Brooklyn Reviews
At last, a lovely and user-friendly small coffee, soft drinks, and sandwiches café in Prospect Park near the Longmeadow. Especially lovely in sunny weather when you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery.
After our run, we decided to get a coffee and good God, coffee wa amazing and Leilah the barista was amazing.
The staff here are incredibly friendly and fast! Food is amazing and coffee drinks are excellent too. Often a busy spot, be prepared to wait in line, but also know it will be worth it!
Perfect Saturday morning sot, very ♿ friendly, including a fully ADA accessible restroom (at grind level, under stairs right behind Winner entrance). Tasty snacks and friendly service too.
I was so excited to try WINNER! I love that they created this pop-up shop. They have THE BEST cinnamon rolls. You must try! The chai tea was absolutely delicious too! I went back the same day to see their lunch options! I had their hot dog! YUMMY! Thank you WINNER so such a great experience!
Kind people, if you like coffee and Prospect Park this is an incredible find!! Closes by mid-afternoon so go early. There's also a restroom in the same building, very helpful when you're in the park!!

A favorite. This is a walk-in, order and wait outside spot. Coffee is 10/10. Perfect pit-stop mid walk in the park. A handful of tables to sit at outside. All of the dogs congregate here. Nice people working. Get here early for breakfast sandwiches on delish english muffins. Will keep coming back forever.
everything is fantastic: bread focaccia cookies, croissants, but these curry squash patties are the most amazing things ever had
One of the best breakfast sandwiches available.
As an English person myself I can speak with authority here, the English muffin at Winner is perfect. Also as a countryman of Gordon Ramsey I can also testify that the scrambled eggs on the muffin are set to perfection. And as a Miss Piggy fan I can also say the ham is delicious. More importantly the staff this morning were very friendly and when I realized my muffin was missing its ham quickly gave me another one with ham! I am a very satisfied customer. It does get busy on the weekend however on a sunny week day morning this is the best brekkie and service in Brooklyn. Dog friendly, so if you don’t like dogs this isn’t your spot.
Today we had a delicious Chicken Sandwich with a very flavorful sauce/chicken mix on „real“ bread with taste, flavor & bite! The bread stays fresh and keeps it’s bite even an hour later. A five star chicken sandwich. In addition we ordered the Ham&Cheese sandwich. Another five star delight. Winner in the Park is a blessing for every spontaneous picnic around the area. In the Winter or Summer🌞 Thank you for the great service.
On my early morning walks I’ve started stopping here and once a week I’ll get breakfast. Many dogs and their owners from the Long MeDow stop by, and groups of cyclists often recharge with a coffee. The egg and cheddar sandwich on their house made English muffin leaves all other breakfast sandwiches behind. It tastes buttery, and is sometimes messy and always delicious. And today, after noticing they had a pasta salad, I bought one to take home. It’s the pasta salad I’d make myself once a year - Mayo, onion, other bubbly bits, and a corkscrew pasta. Some day I’m going to have to try a lunch sandwich. Until then, the egg and cheddar will suit me just fine.
They run out of pastries pretty early most mornings. But coffee is great. Nice that you can take your dog after off leash hours in the park. Egg sandwich is the best if you can get one.

If you can find this cafe in Prospect Park then it’s worth it 👍. Been to PP so many times and never knew such a convenience existed for cyclists. Easy access to bathroom facilities and also outdoor seating. Coffee & pastries are good 😊. Just trying to find this cafe is an adventure in itself. Be prepared for a 10 minute wait on line

Their hot chocolate is never hot. Great spot otherwise.

Great bread on the ham sandwich, but the price made me cry. Very friendly and attentive staff. Cool location in the park. If our two drinks and sandwich had been $20 instead of $30 this would be four stars, but, you know, inflation, I guess? Sometimes you have to settle for a draw.

It was so wonderful when Winner took over this unused space by the Picnic House. But even though there’s literally no competition within walking distance they really have to try harder to maintain fresh quality of coffee. I’ve found the fanciest baristas don’t necessarily make the best coffee, it all depends on how clean the equipment is kept and water quality. Local newsstand can be amazing (and actually is decent) because they clean everything all day. Something went wrong here. We had to throw both cups away completely. The bread and sandwiches live up to the name, and are worth having. They just need to fix the coffee situation.
Shockingly mid sandwich. Even the bread was mid. Overpriced which is less shocking considering location. Better off leaving the park for food.

Not cool, Winner in the Park , not cool employees asked to stop sharing tips with other location… because the park location is super busy and clearly less pleasant to work in…. Management response : implement a Tip Credit , which lowers their wages while making it the customer’s job the make up the difference…. Google NYC tip credit, legal but not cool

Stopped in before meeting a friend at the park. The manager Jacob was SO rude. He treated his staff like “the help” and clearly had a chip on his shoulder. It blows my mind this person works in customer service and gives off fake nice/condescending west coast energy. Baristas were great, hope management improves.
Rip off and quality has gone way down. $15 for a tiny dumb sandwich? Are we at the airport?
