Cucina Buffalo Reviews
Had a great meal. Service from Nicole was outstanding. The drinks were fantastic. Any time we are in Buffalo, we will be stopping in.
The food was amazing! Had the Stuffed Hungarian Peppers and Al's way. Service was great! I will definitely be back
We were here one time, not long ago and can't wait to go back, great food and great service in a fun part of Buffalo!❤️👌🏼
Best Italian restaurant in Buffalo that I have been to so far. Amazing food, great service, no complaints at all. Be sure to get the homemade bread!
An absolute hidden gem! Delicious Italian food that completely exceeded our expectations. It’s a small, hole-in-the-wall spot with incredible service and yum yum yum dishes from start to finish. Great prices too! Don’t miss this place if you’re in the area.
Recommended by our hotel, very cozy. Our server was awesome. We got the bread service, drinks. Cesar salad and lasagna. Delicious, homemade and the creme Brullee was perfect.
Come here quite often. Food is always great. Decent portion sizes (for a non- sicilian) LOL. I could eat double but they do serve generous portions. Appetizers always great. The bread they serve is quite De-lish. Extra bread service will cost you but if you crave crusty crunch loaves and assorted compound butters you'll get a second. Specials always look amazing. If you love lasagna you dont want to pass up theirs. I get it often and eat every bite. I make sure no one is looking when I lick the plate clean. Lol In a nut shell. Great food and service. Definitely try this restaurant if you havent
First time dining here. We ordered a variety of food and shared. Everything was prepared, presented and seasoned well. Our server Vanessa was very kind and attentive to our needs. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
Beth our waitress was so bubbly & attentive. She made our experience what it was tonight. She deserves a raise! We ordered a Caesar salad and spinach bread to share as an appetizer. The Caesar salad was good, for me it tasted heavy on the anchovies. The spinach bread was delicious and so was the red sauce that came with it. My entreé was a special: steamed clams. A dozen for $20.00 I enjoyed them! I thought was espresso martini was delicious. I got a cannoli which Beth mentioned she stuffed! The mascarpone was delish & so was the shell. I almost tasted a cinnamon coming from the shell. Powdered sugar is a nice touch too. My guest had chicken Milanese and a cannoli as well, she was raving and took her left overs to go. My guest also ordered white Zinfandel and they had rose so Beth brought her over a tasting glass to ensure she liked it. I had no leftovers as I ate everything. Beth was nice enough to take some pictures of my guest and I against the cute mural on the wall. Beth asked if we would like our checks separate or together without us having to ask. Thank you for having us(-:
A recommendation by Troy from Best Western, I had to try out this Italian restaurant. The staff were lovely and accomodating to my perhaps too-foreign self and tended to anything I needed. I had the gnocchi with beef, and it was absolutely one of the best gnocchis I’ve ever had, though I seldom have gnocchi, it was memorable enough for me to want to try it again!!
Went here for my birthday meal this year. I had the Steak Giacobbi and got the Muddled blackberry bourbon cocktail for a drink. The steak was cooked to the perfect temp and the meal came with a side of spaghetti as well. My partner had the Tortellini ala Giacobbi which she enjoyed. I liked the steak meal and really enjoyed the cocktail, so I would definitely return to try other things on their menu. In terms of the service experience, we ate outside as the weather was nice enough for it and we had a great server who was pretty attentive despite covering tables inside and out.
Food was excellent, the drinks were great a little om the underpowered side but I like it that way! The pasta and appetizers were great, and the the portions are fair! I will definitely come again. *Note the bread is not complimentary, think staff accidently implied it was, had to clarify.
This place was such a delight. We were greeted by Nicole and our Server was Jessie, they were both awesome. Great customer service and a tonne of amazing recommendations. We had the prosciutto pizza, casino clams (a must), Pasta rapini, Brooklyn style spicy rigatoni, linguine Alfredo and a peanut butter pie to finish. I've ate at Italian restaurants all around the world and this mom and pop was up there with some of the best food I've had. Bravissimo
Chose this restaurant on a whim as we looked for parking on a cold, snowy day in Buffalo. Man oh man did we get lucky as this place had GREAT Italian food. On arrival, the host, a.k.a The owner, put 2 tables together to accommodate our party of 6. We sat and ordered garlic bread and they came with a roasted garlic and red pepper and olive butter. Really good. We also ordered a few drinks, The Sicilian Old Fashioned and a Chianti. Finally we ordered dinner (See pics) and everything was EXCEPTIONAL! My son had the Steak Giacobbi which was so darn flavorful that I was a little jealous I didn't order it. Overall great food, great service and cool atmosphere. This is a HIGHLY recommended restaurant when you are in Buffalo.
We ordered the bread service, and it tasted like someone forgot to add salt. Chicken marsala was good, plenty of mushrooms. The chicken parm was disappointing. The spaghetti side that came with the entrees was unremarkable. The dining room was empty besides us, but our server was perfect. She didn't hover but was still attentive. If I lived in Buffalo I'd give it another try.
As a Toronto tourist coming all the way to here, loving the atmosphere and dishes so much, the staff were cheerful and welcoming. The only thing that I feel kinda sad was the fish was too salty, I mean too much seasoning, which affects the overall taste. PS: the house bread service was excellent especially with the butter and the garlic olive oil.
Nothing spectacular. Kinda disappointed we weren’t offered bread upon being seated. Food was good, the olive butter and garlic bread dip is amazing. The guy thats sits you down is super friendly. Not sure the pricing commensurates with the dining. I would go here again but wouldn’t tell someone this is a place they must go to
