Jersey Mike's Subs Buffalo Reviews
We ate here shortly after the renovation. The place looks very nice. We ordered Thai Basil Fried Rice and a pho dish. Everything was delicious. If you want more spice in things, be sure to ask for it. My fried rice was not as spicy as I had expected it to be, but that was how I prefer it. We will definitely come back.
It was a busy night but they were very quick to address all of our needs. The waitresses were great. The food was excellent. The ambiance in the restaurant was calm and relaxing. I particularly like the decorations they have. Best of all, the food was awesome. Authentic & delicious!
This has been one of my favorite restaurants for several years now. I order take out very frequently but have enjoyed the dining room as well and have never been disappointed! The food is delicious with a variety of options and great staff. Can't beat the lunch special!
Went for lunch, I haven’t been to this establishment in quite a long time and noticed the decour is different now - they used to have white table cloths now plain tables and a bit more casual which I didn’t mind. Service was a bit slow and hard to get the waiters attention. The food was definitely worth it and the portion size was good sized. Had the lunch special with Panang curry and rice and spring roll - everything tasted great. See photos of food and menu….
The service is just as excellent as the food. Our waitress Emily was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and a wonderful presence. The Panang Curry was phenomenal and the pineapple fried rice was exactly what I hoped it would be. We will definitely be coming back (and will be sitting in Emily’s section).
Our first visit was a total success! A very inviting dining area with a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere. Our server, Jane, was an absolute charm. She was right there to answer any question and quickly returned with answers to any question she wasn't sure of. We received our drinks promptly. The appetizers came out quick and were as refreshing as the title, "Fresh Summer Roll". The entres were spectacular in presentation; Sizzling Steak peaked many senses presenting beautifully with the sight and sounds of sizzling for our entire table; Mango Curry bowl steaming with wonderful smells and good portion; Bo Luc Loc full of color evenly dispursed with beef cooked to perfection and tenderness to melt on your tongue with a side of perfectly cooked white (Sticky) rice and great soy sauce; Pineapple Fried Rice combined with chicken begging for spoonfuls to be taken. The bathrooms are nice and roomy, clean, with modern fixtures. I totally recommend this restaurant for a wonderful experience of Vietnamese Thai food; to anyone. Great location for families, friends, date night. We will absolutely return soon!
This is the only restaurant we go to at least two to three times a week. Three strengths quite unique to this place are: First of all, the servers are not just servers but they become best friends because of their caring services for not only food but also true friendship. We have been frequenting this restaurant for the past seven years and we know every server here. In particular the head server Joe is truly an amazing guy and even my high-expecting spoiled grumpy son loves him. Second the food quality is so excellent, which is why we always head to this place. Finally the price is so inexpensive, and we always end up spending less than other casual places like Panera. This is the number one place for us when it comes to eating out. We are so proud of this fabulous restaurant in our neighborhood.
We ate at Saigon and everything was fantastic. Joe was our server and he was friendly, attentive, and checked in just the right amount. The service really made the experience, and we had a great meal overall.
Atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. Servers are quick and polite. Utensils are not good. Cheap chopsticks and metal soup spoon as opposed to ceramic make for an uncomfortable eating experience. Food smells good, egg roll is overcooked. Evident they used packaged noodles as opposed to homemade. Overall not bad for Americanized Vietnamese food, but definitely would not call this place genuine authentic.
Food and price are great. Most staff are friendly, except for one old man. He is always cold. Not sure if he is like that to everybody, or just to my people. I suppose he is the restaurant owner, because otherwise he would have been fired long time ago.
Pretty disappointed, one of my favorite restaurants in Williamsville. Sent one of my friends in to pick up our to go order and he was greeted by a very unfriendly Caucasian waiter. The gentlemen was complaining to him about not being a “to go restaurant.” I understand the frustration of taking orders when you’re primarily paid in tips but I don’t think it’s necessary to make the customer feel bad for purchasing food from your location. I hope this is the first and last time we have to deal with this as the food is extremely tasty!
Shrimp Pad Thai is pale noodles, barely cooked, with overcooked shrimp and a few bean Sprouts. Completely insipid. No peanuts, no garnishments or herbs, no flavor. I can't believe this place is still is business. This is the worst pad Thai I've ever had.
The Saigon Bangkok at this Transit location is not as good as the one located on Niagara Falls Blvd. The service, food, atmosphere, and experience isn’t as enjoyable. They mess up orders much at this Transit location and expect the customer to just deal with it as they did with us. It’s louder and the wait for your food always takes longer. They also don’t apologize for mistakes on their end. It’s hard to want to come back here for food. If they closed this location, I wouldn’t be mad.
Absolutely disgusting red chicken curry - never had one this nasty. Beware fake reviews the restraunt pays for. chicken was rubbery, cut into huge chunks that were patly woody and unevenly cooked. the bamboo shoots also were too big to get in my mouth and tough to eat with a fork. basically i had cocnut milk seasoned with curry paste $20+ i'll never return, you shouldnt either 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 (you had a chance at the restraunt to make it right when i told the server my food was inedible, they didnt take it off the bill - email you?! 🤣how many restraunts do you email for good service?! why are you offering to make it right only now?? looks like you try that trick a lot in the reviews...)
no utensils, food for one person comes out super later we all had to sit there for our food to get cold. ruined the mood. and then the waiter had attitude about it “oh we are having problems” no apology nothing . horrible place save your money go to macdonalds
I ordered some take out and when arrived a woman at the bar asked my name, then went to serve others, never came back to get my food. Another woman at the bar greeted a white gentleman very warmly and I am like invisible to both of them. I typically don’t label a place but unfortunately I have to call this racial or genetic discrimination or both. I don’t think I showed up in a bad mood. Just finished holiday shopping with my toddler son. I did leave with a miserable mood. Will never go back again
