Papi Grande's Waterfront and Beach Bar Buffalo Reviews
Stopped by for a quick drink on a bike ride and enjoyed a great wine slushy for their happy hour. It was six dollars and definitely worth it. at the time they didn’t seem to have any food options available, but I know they do have food based off of a menu that was referenced at the bar. (Will update this review after visiting in the future to try the food as well.) The place is directly across from Riverworks so you can sit in some of their lounge chairs and enjoy the boats and kayaks going up and down the river while enjoying music playing at some of the local establishments nearby.
Great atmosphere, good beer and the nachos were amazing!!!
Relaxing atmosphere and cool concept. Real bathrooms would greatly improve the place

I had the Taco Pescado which was really great! My loganberry mojito was also so yummy. Trivia night was so much fun, they do it on Monday and Wednesday. Sydney B was very sweet and a really great, attentive server!
I went for the first time last week to do Boozy Bingo. That was super fun and the environment was great! There is a limited bar and menu, but still lots of options and I enjoyed everything I got. I liked the vibe and our waitress was fantastic.
This place is pretty awesome! Great view of the river. Beers are cold. Food was very good. Service was great. And absolutely loved the vibe of this place. It's so chill and relaxing! Will def be back!
Papi grandes near amc theater is trash but the cook here has had me craving the pulled pork Mac n cheese ever since I had it there. The views nice too we sat by the fire while we were at a silent disco. The waitress was also very lovely
I was blown away. First, When I walked in I was immediately seated by extremely kind servers. Second, the food was incredible, best tacos ever. Third, the drinks were amazing. Vibes were immaculate. Will come again.
Drinks and atmosphere were amazing. Can’t wait for their liquor license to come through. The food was incredible. We did not leave any crumbs left over. Can’t wait to come back with my dog!!

On the water , but not water accessible. You would need to dock your boat or kayak somewhere else as the docks waterside are for the apartment building next door. It's a good concept, to have a quick grab Mexican food and cold cocktail like margaritas and daiquiris waterside. The view is nice looking across the water at River works too. I didn't care for all the uneven surfaces ( fake grass carpeting) and plastic Adirondack chairs ( of which many are broken). A few simple up- grades along with permanent restrooms would be appreciated. Food was tasty and served pretty quick. it's a nice stop to hang out for a bit or meet up with some friends. The large over sized games are fun to play too.
Food and drink was good. Music was great also. Once relaxing night

It was a good time. We pulled up on our boat (33ft) with no problems. Walked in, security was extremely friendly and very reasonable. Food was good and beers were cold. Excellent view of the Ferris wheel at Riverwoods at night. DJ played a lot of hits we enjoyed (2004 graduates), but I'm sure the music changes nightly. If you are in the area it is worth checking out. The whole area is sand so you can even take your shoes off. It is not a club or anything, just a good place to drink with friends.

I have been wanting to go here since they first opened, so I'm sad to leave a review like this. I am a tropical girl through and through and love me a good tropical theme bar. Unfortunately I was disappointed to say the least. We went the Friday of Memorial Day, and there was literally no one there. Other surrounding places were bumpin! So it seemed very strange that there were next to no patrons other than ourselves for the good 2 hours we were there. We kept wondering where all the people were! But maybe they knew something I didn't. The concept of this place is cool but it all seems kind of thrown together with the food, picnic tables, etc. We did not eat but by the looks of the area where the food is produced, I wouldn't want to order anything. I would stick to drinks only. It's on the "water" and has "sand" but lacks any sort of a true tropical/beachy atheistic and the Porta potties could at least be upgraded to the trailers. There are alot of nice places in that area and I don't think they can compete. At least not with a mature crowd. Im sure I'd go here if I was in my young 20s but this place does not live up to the hype. The bartenders were very nice but I wouldn't go back.
Pulled up, didn't know what to expect. The ground was full of sand - which felt very out of place for the area. I understand the 'Beach Bar' aspect, but that was the only feature. Drinks were either sitting out premixed, or you have the choice of a refrigerated beer. Don't be alarmed though, the moment you need the bathroom you are expected to use 1 of 4 disgusting portapotties. .... the vibes were weird. The bartender looked young and opened up our beer cans with the same pen she'd been using throughout the night. Nothing was clean. I didnt even bother to look at the food after observing the environment. I wouldn't trust it, and after reading other reviews, I'm grateful. It was painful to see Riverworks across the water and know we could have made the better call. You're welcome.

This place could have so much potential but unfortunately so many things were wrong with it. The prices for the food is so overpriced for what they offer. $8.00 for one little tiny taco. Then we ordered the loaded fries they have and when we asked for a fork since it’s saucy and has a lot of toppings on there, we were told there’s no utensils at all. We literally had to eat these with our fingers like cavemen and it was very messy. There’s no actual bathrooms so couldn’t even wash our hands afterwards. I was really looking forward to this place and was pretty disappointed.

So the last time I was here the food was great, this time I ordered a quesadilla to go, I got no rice or anything on the side (I did last time?), no hot sauce, and a small quesadilla for $18. Not sure what has changed here in a month but I do not recommend getting food here ever. 1/10 for food and drinks were okay, frozen machine wasn’t working. Bartender was great but steer clear of ordering any food. Very disappointed here today.

I was excited about a new beach bar in Buffalo. Wow was I disappointed. What a joke. Cheap decor, gross food, and pre mixed expensive drinks. The tables were all dirty and all of them seemed to wobble. I loved Shuck Shack. They should have kept that there instead. This place is a joke and not fit to be called a "beach bar" Save your money and head elsewhere.
Stopped here after being out on the boat most of the day. We ordered drinks and some tacos and other apps with a waitress since we were starving. Waited about 45 minutes still nothing. My father in law went up to the waitress and asked where our food was. She laughed and said she forgot and not to tell her boss because he was already mad at her. My father in law said she was noticeably drunk and smelled like liquor. We ended up leaving with empty stomachs.
Awful atmosphere, food and service. Undercooked, rubbery chicken. Rude and inattentive staff. Management was rude to both us and the servers working for them. Dirty restrooms, can't imagine the kitchen is any cleaner. 0/10 would not recommend. Go to Deep South Taco instead
This was a really chill place in the past with sand, music, adirondack chairs to relax in…now they moved it and threw it in the middle of an asphalt parking lot. Very sad!
