Community Beer Works Taproom Buffalo Reviews
True Buffalo gem. It's a bit tucked away but the building itself is phenomenal with so much history. Brewery has an indoor and outdoor area that has ample seating. I tried one of their IPAs (Crusher) and their Mexican Lager, both were amazing. They also appear to have a beer and food deal with a food truck ($15 for chicken sandwich, side and a pint). Beers are actually priced lower than a lot of other breweries I have gone to as well. To top it off, they are dog friendly as long as your dog is behaved! Will be back again soon.
After checking out BriarBrothers there is no doubt i will be back. To start the section of brewed beers are on point. Good selection for everyone and not one i didn’t like. Also heard they change their rotation frequently so can always try something new. good vibes good crowd. And food from hen house is delicious if your looking for a bite to eat. great place highly recommend !!
We held our baby shower at Briar Brothers & everything was better than we could have imagined! We had the side area reserved & they were very accommodating with any tables/chairs etc we needed! They went above and beyond to make the event perfect. I’d recommend using them for your event, but even separate from that they are a great brewery with great beer and owned by really great people! (:
The beers here are really good! They have a food truck on site. Great atmosphere too!
Absolute blast for F1 races! Staff goes above and beyond to make it an enjoyable time!!! Add this to an awesome selection of great beers every day, just a great brewery to visit, and must regular stop to our area!
First time there for a party. It was a lot of fun. Great atmosphere. Loved all the old history and pictures. Would definitely go there again!
Great bar, good beer. Always have a great time here. Joel, Dylan, and the bartenders are always friendly and inviting. Love coming to Briar
First time here, and will be back every time we brewery hop in Buffalo. Great staff, and awesome history museum area. Overall great feel. If you love sours, they’re the best in Buffalo. My top 3 use to be Burley Oak, Heavy Reel, and Imprint. I’d put them above Imprint to be honest.
BriarBrothers is awesome. I'm from outta town and stopped by looking to try some local breweries while I was in BUF for work. I stopped by on a Monday when they should have been closed. I ran into one of the owners and he stopped what he was doing to chat me up and explain their story. He gave a me a few cans to try and I bought a bunch of gear in appreciation. Besides the great hospitality and treatment. The beer is fantastic. The Brown Ale, NE IPA, and Pils are all great! If I lived in BUF it would be the top spot for me.
My gf and I stopped in this place after visiting Niagara falls . The beer was amazing, thanks to the lovely bartender we got to have dinner that night (was only cash) and I have to say the pizza was also so good. She also recommended a few beers, we really spend a great time in the brewery and I wanted to recommend this place even if you are local or not. Greetings from Spain, love ❤️
The vibe at BriarBrothers is out of this world. It’s the coolest mix of the past and today. The beer was tasty! The bartender offered us samples first which really helped. Love the patio. This is a prime example of repurposing an old building. I so appreciate that they left little nuggets all over that honor the building’s history. Five big stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Lovely place. A lot of indoor seating and a bit of outdoor. Very reasonably priced and a mix of traditional beers, unique beers, and seltzers. They also had wine offerings from Chateau Lafayette Reneau which is an elite choice for a winery partnership. Only constructive feedback is minimal hearty vegetarian food choices on their chicken centered menu
A wonderful nugget of restoration with a brewing future. They seem to always have an interesting selection of flavors in brew. The grounds are well kept. It seems to be a bright spot in the community. The very interesting and fun 716 EggFest is held there every year. It was the 3rd time I’ve been there. Highly recommended.
The space is exceptional and truly unique in the Buffalo brewery scene. I’m not a craft beer drinker but every one of their house brewed seltzers I’ve tried has been delicious (there are usually 2 on tap at a time in my experience). The sandwich and fries deal from the partnered Hen House food truck was excellent. Service is always great and even our 3 month old puppy enjoys his complimentary dog treat and water (and playing with the other canine customers). Highly recommend!
Great beer, food and venue! Briar Brothers Brewing has it all. You will not be disappointed. First and foremost is the beer. There is a style for everyone, from a very drinkable table beer to IPA’s. Next is the food, definitely delicious and prepared to your liking and delivered to your table. Lastly is the historic venue. This is a amazing example of reclaiming and repurposing the old structures of the past into useable spaces.
Great repurposing of one of Buffalo's many historic silos. The name Briar Brothers is projected on the Elk Street silos as you enter the space. Nice selection of craft brews (brewed on site). Cool, comfortable lighting (Not too bright so more of a laidback feel). Restroom are outside of the space down the hall. There is also a barber shop on premise. Definitely worth a stop! This is one of the locations that you can purchase a physical WNY Beer Pass.
I have been to BBBC a few times now and I really like the layout and vibe of the place, I found the beer to be hit or miss but that'sjust a personal thing and on me. My girlfriend really enjoyed the punch bowl so I was happy about that. Most of bartenders we encountered were helpful and moved everything quickly so I'd say give em a try if you're in the area.
