Excellent Time with all of our friends at Gepetto Restaurant last night. The food was awesome, service was very professional and accommodating and the ambiance was perfect. Samantha our server did a phenomenal job with our table of nine. The food was delicious. Perfectly cooked rib eye steak, delicious lobster and spaghetti, calamari, ceaser salad. The three course special was well worth it!! Street and garage parking was easy Chuck ace Denise

I love this spot! One of my fav places in Boston for Italian food. We tried (amongst many things) the ravioli and the garlic bread and it was phenomenal.

What a wonderful meal! My husband and I came here for my birthday dinner and we loved every bite of it. The braided garlic bread has a mix of wonderful textures and flavors - just the right amount of garlic too! We probably wouldn’t order the fried eggplant again (partially because we want to try so many other things!). It was heavy on garlic but still a good dish. The amatriciana and agnolotti pastas were both so good. We’ll definitely be back!

Had an outstanding experience here! Our server was extremely friendly. He had great recommendations and did not steer us wrong once. The Antipasto Platter was great to share, as was the Tuna Carpaccio. It had such bright flavors and was truly amazing. For me the star of the show was the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni with vodka sauce. It had a subtle spice that complemented the flavor and I liked the dish more and more as I ate it and haven't stopped thinking about it. Other favorites at the table were the Porcini Lasagna and the Scallops Picatta. I highly highly recommend Geppetto!!

We stopped in for dessert one night and wound up getting some carrots too. Everything was delicious! The apple pie would be even better warmed up with vanilla ice cream on the side but I truly can’t complain about it either way. The space was beautiful with high ceilings and pretty decor. Our server was very friendly and helpful.

This place is a hidden gem in Boston! Love the area, very clean and modernized as compared to other parts of Boston. Now the restaursnt itself is very nice too! The food is absolutely delicious, staff is friendly, quantity is good, and atmosphere is up scale relaxed. All in all a top tier place to go eat with your significant other or with friends. 10/10 would recommend!

Geppetto is a fantastic restaurant that somehow seems to be flying a little too much under the radar, for the quality of the food that they prepare. Everything - from their breads and crudos, through their appetizers and pastas and all to way to their desserts - was absolutely delicious. The quality of the food is very high, without the pretense - just a very solid and honest cooking. They certainly know their flavors, which are classic, comforting and relatable, and most people should be able to find lots of things to love on the menu. Definitely a restaurant that should be on your list!

We have been frequenting Cafe Beatrice downstairs for several months, so I’ve been super excited for The Lexington to open seating again. And wow what a wonderful meal! The bread and date butter was amazing, scallops perfectly balanced with the tart snap peas and soubise, fabulous duck. We tried the London fog milk punch cocktail and a kiwi coconut one that were both excellent on the roof deck in the sun. And of course the desserts! Amazing. Our delightful waitress (Sarah I believe), and all covid safety protocols could not have been better. Haven’t been to a sit down restaurant all winter and this was a wonderful wonderful way to welcome the spring.

This was a fun place to try. Solo chair in the back, and took a sampling of a few dishes. The coconut shrimp toast was by far my favorite and was definitely something different to try. Service was great, atmosphere was nice. Prices were just right for what you get.

Cute spot for date night Italian food. We went on Memorial Day weekend so it was a bit slow, but we started with drinks at the Lexington upstairs on the deck then went downstairs to Geppetos for dinner. A great spot, the focaccia with bean dip was amazing. Awesome selection of wines and a good choice of entrees and apps.

Our server was super kind and attentive. Food was delicious and very filling. Great music played throughout dinner, and overall volume is not loud at all. Would 100% come here again!

Geppetto is tucked away in the center of the Lechmere shopping area. We had a reservation for 6 but were 30 min late due to MBTA struggles; thankfully they were super nice about it. We were seated at an elegant circular table booth. The food came out very quickly (as it was made), so we had a table full of food in no time. A lot of things on the menu looked really good so we just dove in. Overall a lot of the dishes we ordered were quite cheesy/rich, so I much preferred the lighter dishes. Delicious, would get again - Cod cioppino ($38) - The broth for this dish is perfect -- light, savory, and very seafood forward. The cod was also great - flaky and somehow had a crispy crust. I also really enjoyed the bay scallops in the broth. The other seafood (shrimp, mussel, clam) didn't stand out as much, and may have been a bit overcooked. This was a super tasty dish. - Grilled focaccia ($2) - We got one piece of focaccia which came with a small bowl of white truffle bean dip. Wow this was great! The bean dip was delicious -- smooth but not heavy, lovely truffle flavor. The bread was just a vehicle for the bean dip deliciousness. - Beef carpaccio ($20) - I had no idea what to expect, but wow this was delicious! The smoked wagyu beef was very thinly sliced and tasted like a cross between smoked salmon and prosciutto. The toppings were delicious as well, with interesting textural contrast. It's pricey, but worth it. Good, might get again - Porcini lasagna ($26) - I'm a sucker for porcini mushrooms, and they definitely did them justice with this lasagna. There were crispy parts on the top and bottom and delicious compacted layers of mushroom. There was also a lot of cheese surrounding it which I avoided. - Seared brussels sprouts ($10) - Hot and tasty brussels sprouts, who can complain! I appreciated that there was no sweetness in these, as I have come to expect of restaurant brussels sprouts. Meh, wouldn't get again - Pull apart garlic bread ($10) - I was enticed by the concept, but was disappointed by the result. The bread wasn't as fresh/soft as we would've wanted. It was also sitting a pool of cheese, and that was a lot. - Lobster fra diavolo ($32) - I didn't like the seasoning for this pasta. It was overly acidic. The lobster had good flavor but was a bit overcooked. It comes with half of a lobster tail (in the shell) and some cut up claw meat in the pasta sauce. I've definitely had better lobster pastas. We also got the Cosmopolitan ($15), which was fine, nothing special, and the pineapple orange guava sorbetto ($9), which was pretty good (though I wasn't a fan of the candied orange pieces). We also didn't realize that the gelato toppings costed extra ($1 each), because the menu didn't clearly indicate that. Overall, I tried some tasty things here. I think their textures and flavors are generally very good, though many of the things we got were a bit too rich for me. Some of the seafood was also a bit overcooked. I would say the restaurant felt pretty similar to Moeca in terms of price point and types of dishes, but Geppetto food felt heavier on average, and the seafood wasn't as on point. The restaurant has great ambience and service, and some fun dishes that I haven't had elsewhere.

We had a great time during the Boston restaurant week. It was a 3 course meal and we shared everything. Lots of good stuff, especially the steak.

Great place in North Cambridge! This entire neighborhood seems hidden away but is definitely an up and coming area. The Lexington has a modern chic vibe, and is not one to miss. Highlights include the cocktails, burgers, and fries. As our waitress stated, they are very accommodating with allergies, additions, and substitutions for items on the menu. I would see this as a place to attend in the summer, since they have outdoor and balcony seating. Very excited to have come here with friends for drinks, and hope to attend again soon !

First time meeting up some girlfriends after Covid. Great place to hang out and surrounding is really nice! There are still quite some construction going on and I can’t wait to see the whole area when it’s all done! The drinks are yummy, food are great and dessert is 👍👍! It is hard to find street parking. It took us a while to find the garage parking around the restaurant but once it’s parked, rest are great! Good place for dates or hangout with friends.

First time here (Sept 2023) Great service Delicious carpaccio (the sauce is pretty dominant and takes away the delicious taste of the beef) Delicious and very rich rigatoni They serve the tea in a teapot which is very nice however the first time there was not enough water to fill one cup. They did bring more hot water later I’m still not sure what to think of the napoleon dessert It’s nothing like the traditional recipe and a lot (a lot!) of crème with 3 thin layers of crisp Would not order that one again

Good food pricy though. The potatoes focaccia is good but too much expensive for $9 and a small piece (serves 2). Other appetizers are good but again small and expensive. Main course ribeye …. Good tender meat … cooked in the right way… intended to be shared but small for 2. Finished with affogato…. Bottom line: give it a try… nice new location (please keep the heat higher … it was too cold). Something new from the boston flatness food experience. Price vs quantity to improve. Guest host experience to improve…. Lot of potential if they are smart or could be a big failure.

The service was 5/5!! Superb. Sadly the food tasted old. The calamari and boar both didn’t taste fresh. The atmosphere was great!
