Always good service and personal staff! It seemed like they were a little short handed today, but they made our drinks quickly and to order without an issue!

Sometimes there's a line and long wait, but the quality of the food and drinks is always top notch so I have no complaints. Staff is always very friendly and working very hard.

Starbucks is definitely comfort food it's always clean the service is always friendly and the atmosphere is always relaxing I love getting my cup of coffee there enjoying checking my emails and getting on with the day Starbucks is definitely the place to meet up with friends and family and start your morning with a fresh cup of dark roast from Starbucks

They remember my order every time. Have great attitudes always smiling. They are amazing.

Our server was great, she even took the time to write a personal message on my cup in celebration of my 1yr smoke free.

I love starbucks delish coffee,great service, i still love their classic original flavors of frapps like my favorite two carmel macchiato and java chip but i also love the pepperment mocha,pumpkin spice coffee,green tea frapp, strawberry,and french vanilla.

The location is always clean and offers quick service. I go more in the fall when they offer the apple crisp macchiato.

Honestly, the best Starbucks ever. They never get my order wrong and I love going there. Today 11/27/23 the guy who made my matcha frapp with oat milk did amazing! He even put a little sprinkle of matcha powder on top. When I say that I love Starbucks, I really just love the one in Canandaigua. Thank you guys for making my drink right every time and making my day every time I'm there <3

Update. Previous low review was based on the manager who was not a people person and believe she affected the store overall. Many times I went in and I was the only person who said thank you or have a good day. As a former longtime employee of the company it was very disappointing. Today, I went in and the vibe is different. I asked a barista about a new product and when she wasn't sure, I spoke with the new manager. I then understood the new vibe. She embodies the culture.

Great service and staff. I had the breakfast bacon sausage wrap. Was hot and tasty. Great location to stop quickly has a light on both entrances to the plaza, makes for easy access.

I love this Starbucks!! Every staff member is so sweet and helpful. Even when the line of cars is wrapped around the building they work efficiently and I have never had to wait for more than 10 minutes. Keep it up!!

The crew was very "Starbucksy" ... everyone was upbeat and seemed to truly enjoy serving the customers. Plenty of college/high school kids in the joint made me feel smart. The are a good number of outlets so you can bring your laptop and stay for a while!

Tucked away in a cozy but convenient location off the highway. Parking is adequate even when the dining room is at capacity. The staff is where this place really shines. The baristas are competent and friendly-definitely adds some extra pick-me-up to the caffeine fix

Passion tea latte was delicious! Staff was friendly i was very grateful they offer a natural sugar-free sweetener, monk fruit! I carry my own packets because I can't have the other sweeteners but ran out of mine at an all day fund raiser.

My daughter was very excited the young lady spelled her name right. Lol Friendly service. She was helpful. It was our first time there. They even gave us a extra cake pop. Very thankful. P.s the kids did not like the cake pops. They said it tasted like raw dough. My two oldest kids had the Carmel crunch. My youngest had a vanilla bean drink. (Milkshake) . I had a peach green tea lemonade. I LOVE IT! Very refreshing

Just went through the drive thru. Not only was my coffee delicious and the raccoon cake pop absolutely adorable (for my toddler) , but the girl at the window , named Sarah S , was the sweetest girl. Spread her positivity and kindness and made the rest of my morning as cheery as she was. I will always choose this Starbucks

My first time at Starbucks lol. I bought the ham and cheese on a baguette. It was pretty good! The eating area was clean. I’ll probably get the sandwich when I’m in the area working that not huge and a good portion.

I came through the drive through 12/11 around 940am ish. I was having a rough morning. Late to work. Family emergencies. The whole 9. I fell of script when I was asked "how are you?" Usually no matter what its "alive" today was "could be so much better." I didnt realize at the window, but I eventually notice i got a extra food item. I didnt think I got 2 treats.. but I was having a hectic morning. I definitely did not order 2 treats. On the bag was written "have a good day!". Its something small to some. But it was much needed in the moment. Im not gonna name drop because I dont want her in trouble. But to the nice pretty girl running drive through, or was at the window.. thank you. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

20250520 There's no Starbucks in Penn Yan. 😩 Since Im in the area, so happy to find this one, 22 miles away. The baristas were helpful. The Chai Latta with Coconut Milk tasted perfect! Not as creamy as Soymilk, but much heavier than soy. While waiting for my drink, I spotted the Ginger Shots, and Tumeric Shots. I tried the Ginger Shot, $3.65 tax included, and it was real good. A bit spicy, as expected from Ginger, but not over powering. I would get it again, amd want to try the turmeric shot one day. I wonder if this is sold at all Starbucks 🤔. They also have the New York discovery series mugs. I like the Been There Mugs so much better.

This is the closest Starbucks to my employer. If I'm running an errand on lunch, I generally treat myself with a drink. I'm obsessed with their Lavender Matcha Lattes 💚💜 You know what you're getting at a Starbucks. They always greet people upon entering. I've never had a bad experience here.

First time ever ordering from this location even though I've lived in the area all my life. I did a mobile order and it was perfect. The staff was so friendly. This is definitely a popular place with a constant line around the building.

Pretty standard Starbucks. Drinks made well and quick. Drive through get you through fairly quickly. But the way snow is piled makes it dangerous to get out of.

I just left Cdga Starbucks a few seconds ago. I'm unsure of what barista is responsible for my cinnamon latte, but they deserve a raise. This is exquisite! So whoever you are, thank you!!

I always get the strawberry acai lemonade, it's a must for me and this time I got the egg, pesto and mozzarella sandwich and it was delicious 😋. Service was delightful as well.

Not bad. The baristas were everything one would hope: kind, relaxed, and personable; the wait is never too bad, and it is in a convenient spot. My only complaint is that the inside could use a little bit more decorating and TLC, as sometimes it feels a bit dreary inside.

Service was not to good today. One register gpimg and the cashier waa quite slow. There were plenty of other people there that the other register could have been opened. It's bad enough it was busy but when the cashier also has to complete some of the orders it slows it down even more. I like Starbucks and I love the Canadaigua store, but a little more emphasis needs to be given to customer service.

Love to treat myself. But hate when my order sits on the counter because employees didn't didn't alert the customer when the drink was ready. Letting all the cold foam I pay extra for, melt into the drink before I get a sip

The food tasted good, the drinks were okay. For the price of a drink in this place the flavors should be more than just okay. I also had wanted to get a breakfast burrito, but I couldn't alter it in anyway. They explained that they were prepackaged and then cooked. Which is gross and for such a pricey coffee shop, I would think they wouldn't offer frozen burritos. Even McDonald's makes their breakfast burros fresh. So, I got an egg white, cheese and turkey sausage English muffin. It tasted great.

The wait times are insane but all else good. Last few times I have been. I've waited easily 15 minutes past my pickup time

Very slow today. The drive thru was faster. I placed my order on the app to pick up and I still had to wait a half an hour.

Customer Service could use an upgrade, Items aren't always available and when that's the case they have no timeframe when it will be available, Such as Raspberry Flavor for ice coffee. I wound up leaving without ordering. This happened twice

Check your order before you leave. They get it right about half the time. Also, I've been coming to this location regularly since it opened many years ago and they have yet to indicate any recognition that I'm a regular customer.

I come here multiple times a week and I have had mostly good experiences. Most of the time service is great. However, I have had my drink size messed up quite a few times now. Today I ordered a venti strawberry cream frap with extra strawberry and matcha. I am assuming they heard me wrong through the drive thru, so they tried to give me a grande instead, so the girl at the window took my drink back and I believe they just threw it back in the blender with more ice because there is ice chunks so big they won’t fit through my straw and it’s all brown. The other time my frap size was incorrect they made a new one and let me keep both.

Was my first time ever having Starbucks. The drink I had was a mocha cookie crunch Frappuccino it was delightful but rate it 8 out of 10 sorry but dunkin will always be my go to

Normally great service and product. Today, however, I ordered dark roast coffee and got hot water instead, like the coffee wasn’t made yet and nobody checked. It was pretty disappointing.

I had an iced venti green tea matcha latte. It was pretty good, because I really like those, because I really love matcha, but it wasn't the best one I've ever had by a long shot. There was a nice outside sitting area. The inside was clean and not too busy, esp.for a weekday.lunch.hour. conveniently located in town but not exactly a convenient walk to the shore.

Food wasn’t bad, but waited 10 minutes standing at the counter for this. Generally in line with most Starbucks nowadays.

Honestly, this is the worst starbucks I have been to. I recommend NEVER ordering in store, always choose drive-through or mobile order. I once waited 30 minutes to get a shaken espresso when I ordered it in store. However, when you go through the drive-through, you will get your drink quickly. It's not always the best tasting, but at least the service is faster. My most recent visits have been a little faster so maybe the management is getting better but I haven't had great experiences in the past.

I've been going to this Starbucks since it opened. Sometimes my drinks are perfect when I order light ice. Sometimes they pack as much ice that will possibly fit in the cup and then add more I swear 🤦‍♀️ The employees are all very nice. I've never had any problems with any of them. I can honestly say, they are extremely unorganized on Red cup Day. Last year I ordered 4 holiday drinks in drive thru and thought they used the red cup for our drinks. When we realized we had all paper ones, I returned and went inside to get our 4 cups. This year we ordered 2 holiday drinks and I was given 1 red cup. Of all the other Starbucks around me, this is the only one that can't get the red cup day right. Maybe next year. 🤷‍♀️

Stopped at Starbucks while I was visiting Canadaigua. As soon as I walked in I could tell that something was off. The music was very very loud, the tables were dirty and chairs were not pushed in. I waited 15 minutes for an ice tea and a piece of pumpkin loaf. They warmed the pumkin loaf up eventhough I didn't ask. After eating it I realized they warmed it because it was old and dry. Also, a guy before me ordered a vanila latte. He sent it back because there was no vanilla in it. Sadly, this is the first time I've ever had an unpleasant experience. Will not stop at this Starbucks again.

First time reviewing a SB. Probably have been there 5 times this summer and although the staff work very hard the wait is really slow and sometimes they forget my drink order. Not enough staff! Plus every year is the FL Tri and they never have enough staff on duty. Lots of spectators walk out because the line up is too long. Shouldn't be a surprise that race day will be busy...try DD across the street on race day.

the line was long in the drive thru so my mom decided it would be faster to go inside. well, she ordered me a caramel frappuccino. there were three people behind her and they all ordered 1+ drinks. took 15 minutes to get a caramel frapp and everyone else got their drink before us. when my mom asked where it was since the others in line behind her got their drink first, the gentleman at the cash register claimed that they were mobile orders. they were in fact NOT mobile orders because they all verbally ordered!! at least the drink was good but customer service could be better. i understand things like this happens but…🤦🏻‍♀️

Usually a good experience here, but not today. Placed a mobile order at 10:50am app said 8-11 min. I pulled up to the order spot at the drive thru at 11:05 and the woman gave me a long winded lecture on how it wasn’t ready yet and I should have gotten a notification there was 15 orders ahead of mine and it was behind. 1. Not my problem, 2. I’m not paying attention to the app while driving after placing my order, 3 I’m still in line at 11:10. Better customer service.

You place a mobile order. It tell you it will be ready at 12:00. You show up at 12:04. The barista huffs and puffs about how they have to push your order through because it isn’t ready and you should have placed it sooner if you were going to show up at that time. This is a CONSTANT.

The people are great & kind but they can never make My drink correctly. Even the base of the drink they messed up somehow. This is why I drive 15 the other direction to go to the one in Victor everyday. Truly one of the worst Starbucks I’ve been too & I’ve been to a lot.

The entire Venti drink was 90% ice. Took two sips and it was gone…. Very disappointed.

Well, the place was hopping. It took 45 minutes to just get our drink order. We did not have food, but that seemed to happen a lot quicker than the drinks.

Unfortunately a horrible experience... I've been here a few times hoping it would get better but it never has. Terrible employees, no customer service, and our drinks have always been wrong. Will not be waiting any more money... we're go to DD next time.

The baristas are always friendly and efficient but the place is always dirty. The tables are never clean, even at 6:30 in the am. New day same thing. Tables dirty at 7:00 am. One barista tells me they have fresh brewed decaf, the other says no. Fifteen minutes later I'm having my coffee. New day, now the service sucked. I'm beginning to understand why the drive thru is so popular. Inside is a different story.

This used to be my favorite location to go to. Unfortunately the past three or four times I have gone at least one of the drinks I have ordered has been wrong and has had to be remade. Service at this location has rapidly gone downhill. At least the Victor location isn't too far away.

Unbelievable wait if you order inside…. I highly recommend you use drive through and then park and go inside to enjoy your drink at a table. Clearly they prioritize drive through and when time allows they work in inside orders. 18 minutes to make a latte? Hmmmm….

It takes forever and they never get our order right. I ordered 3 hot lattes this morning. They tried to hand me 2 iced coffees and a hot coffee. I repeated what I ordered. As we pulled away I took a sip and realized we had 3 black coffees.

40 minutes for two drinks and staff couldn’t care less.

I have been going to this Starbucks for the last year and a half and am constantly disappointed by the drinks and service that I receive. I stop several times a month and am a fairly regular customer. I’d say that half the time the drink I receive is incorrect. I am usually able to say something and get the correct drink but most of the time that requires me turning around the car or going to park and heading inside from the drive thru. Most of the time the quality is a step above ok, on a rare occasion it’s really good. Tonight was the last straw for me. I pulled into the drive through at 5:25 and waited 5 minutes to order. I noticed that they rang up one of my drinks incorrectly so I corrected them and they said they’d fix it. I pulled forward and waited an additional 10 minutes. When I finally got my drink I drove away with the drink they’d originally ran up and never changed. Unfortunately in the process of waiting so long I was now running way behind and had to rush to get to my destination. I worked at Starbucks for 5 years and local coffee shops for another two. I’ve visited Starbucks all over the country because I love their coffee. I know good service. Waiting 15 minutes for the wrong drink, and one that I won’t even drink, is unacceptable. The unfortunate part is that this is a common occurrence for me at this location.

I walked in one day and it took 10 minutes for two iced lattes because they only focused on drive thru. A more recent time I walked in 5 minutes before close but they said they were already closed. Yes the hours on Google were wrong originally but that doesn't mean that they couldn't make a refresher fast that doesn't use the espresso machine.

I don’t know what’s going on there, but I go through the drive through several times a week. Usually my drink is perfect, but the last 3 times I have ordered my drink was awful and the egg bites were frozen inside and service sucked. Not happy at these prices. Maybe it’s time to kick my Starbucks habit.

ordered thru uber eats, starbucks never confirmed my order was ready for pickup, by the time my order arrived it was clear my frappe had been sitting out for a while. no fault to the driver i was watching the tracking the whole time he went to check on the order despite it not being “wrapped up” yet and quickly arrived after that. disappointing to get a melty frappe after 50 minutes of waiting

Horrible!!! I decided to take my daughter to the Canandaigua location for an early morning treat before school as it was cold outside. The cocoa/hot chocolate my daughter received caused her stomach to hurt. She only drank a third of the cocoa/hot chocolate and the next day the remaining cocoa/hot chocolate had bubbled up. Something was definitely wrong with that cocoa/hot chocolate. Would never visit this location again. If I could give no stars I would have done so.

I normally go to this Starbucks but lately each time I go to get the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken expresso it has been horrible. I have had my daughter bring them back in to have them remade and the Barista was very nice BUT the drink was made just the same. Seems to be an issue at this store. Please train them as this is an expensive drink. I just ordered 5 through the drive thru and all were horrible.

my boyfriend went in to get me a sandwich and himself something to drink and when he came back out and gave me my sandwich, it was COLD and hard. still frozen. so i went back in and they seemed Shocked that it was uncooked, yet it was not busy at ALL (two people seated eating, drive through was empty) and there were at least three people working there with only us at the counter. they did NOT remake my sandwich just reheated it and shoved it in the bag missing half the cheese and they were not super polite about it. will not ever be coming to at least this location again. do better.

Without a doubt, the worst Starbucks Cafe I've ever been in, and I've traveled the world. Way too loud background music blaring out from all four corners of the room, overlayed with whirring grinders and ice crunching blenders makes it impossible to have a pleasant conversation over a coffee with friends. We found ourselves shouting at each other in order to have a conversation...ridiculous in the extreme. The food display is a joke, 5 or 6 items on an otherwise empty display cabinet that looked completely inedible...what has happened to Starbucks it was just plain awful...never ever again!

This Starbucks is trash. They make the drinks taste like trash or forget ingredients and when trying to ask for a fix, they refuse to acknowledge you exist. It must be written in to the corporate policy to make drinks bad and then have terrible customer service. Stick to Dalai Java and Finger Lakes Coffee roasters, they better in every way.

The wait was outrageous for the amount of workers. Two girl were chatting up in the Connor as there was a 40 minute wait. There was max 2 people making drinks. I give those people credit for actually doing there job but if they are going to do there job have them do it right. The drinks were filled half way not one drink made in my hour of sitting there was fully filled. Not impressed.

I ordered two drinks today at 12:23pm and the wait time was 20 minutes which is fine, it’s a busy Saturday I get it. I waited over 40 minutes for my second drink and when I asked a barista was told this was made at a different station and the wait time was longer. People that arrived way after me were getting their drinks and leaving. If you want your drinks faster, I recommend going through the drive thru as they seem to prioritize them.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. The barista sounded extremely annoyed I ordered right before closing and come to find out they called the police and said I smelled like alcohol. Haven't had a drop in 10 years so the disgruntled employee decided to make my night terrible because I wanted a coffee. If you don't like your job then quit. If you can't offer customer right up until close then quit. Not to mention it is the slowest drive thru in the United States. 0/10 keep to making coffee and not accusations.

Went through the Starbucks drive thru, was met with a very rude sounding tone and attitude from their employee, Cody. When I got up to the window, he didn’t greet me and demanded the price. Then proceeded to hand me two drinks one of which being made wrong. Which I realized after I had pulled away. I went back through and said “this was supposed to be a Carmel Frappuccino” when it was a macchiato. Then Cody said “it was SUPPOSED to be?” In a very sarcastic and passive aggressive tone. Then he had someone else (woman with blonde hair) make our drink, and gave it to us without a “here you are” or anything, and when I told her to have a good day I was returned a very dirty look and no response. Also, not that it’s important, but none of the three cups were written on by either employee. I’m aware that this is a corporate policy, so I’m wondering why it wasn’t done. Usually employees here are very nice but I always seem to have trouble with this particular employee. edit: also after all the previous frustration, i realized i never received a cheese danish that i ordered.

Waited over 25 minutes to get my drink after placing my order inside the dining area. It was busy, but certainly unacceptable for a coffee order. They had plenty of staff but priority seems to be placed on drive thru and mobile orders. They should just close the dining area to any ordering if this continues to be the trend there.

I ordered my usual drink which seems to be made different every time I go. The last two times they filled it half way, the 1st time they did fix it but today I showed them my 8 dollar drink I ordered was half full when they handed it to me and I was greeted with eye rolls and attitude. Like I'm sorry I want my money's worth. Seems to be a headache to get the drink you went let alone made right here for some reason.

I went to canandaigua Starbucks today and I asked for my usual drink the one in the second picture. I wait 20 minutes for the drink so all my hot food was cold. The lady hands me a drink with little to no Carmel on the side and I asked kindly for it to be made like I showed them in the picture when I ordered it. The lady goes “I already lined it” and I’m already embarrassed because I hate asking for my stuff to be remade let alone ordering it but I said “well can you please line it like the picture I showed you.” She rolled her eyes and started making smart remarks while making it. She grabs a smaller cup and dumps a whole bottle of Carmel in the cup and handed me back the cup. I left crying because I didn’t want to cause a scene and I had my 6 year old son with me who didn’t need to hear her making anymore remarks. My husband brought the drink inside and had them remake it and she was making remarks to him about remaking it too. I’m paying $8 for a drink and I’ve asked nicely several times to have it made a specific way. I come here nearly every day and I don’t have an issue until today. I got my drink how I like it thanks to my husband going in and some cold sandwiches after waiting 30 minutes to eat them. 😭 And by the way I ran a restaurant so I know how frustrating it can be to remake something during a rush but If you messed up something a customer paid for you remake it and don’t bully them. I was a kind and waited patiently on the bench for my drink to be made. I wasn’t rude when I asked for it to be remade so I don’t know why she felt it necessary to act that way.
