We ate here several times on our 5 day trip! That’s how you know it was good! The food was very fresh and the service was amazing. Rima took great care of us and was so kind. She brought us water for our dog and gave us great recommendations! We will definitely be back!

This was our first visit to the restaurant, the atmosphere was very pleasant, a very good vibe was felt. I would like to thank Alejandro for the delicious dessert he provided us 💝 If you want to enjoy a good atmosphere and good food this is the right place.

Definitely worthy of the title "Local Favorite." I just moved over from Monterey and I will probably be here every weekend; my grandmother every day haha. I ordered the "San Francisco Joe" and it bettered my expectation. The potatoes were simple but everything about being there was great. Another wonderful face: No mutts inside!

Despite the busy Sunday morning, Rima was able to seat us almost immediately! We had a great experience dining with our dog on the patio, enjoying yummy food, attentive service, and beautiful ambiance. As we got ready to leave, Rima kindly gave our dog a treat, and when we accidentally left an item on our table, Rima quickly found us on the sidewalk and returned it to us. Thank you, Rima! We'll definitely be back!

Village Corner Bistro in Carmel has such a wonderful staff. Everyone was attentive and welcoming, our two male servers, the manager, and Rima in particular provided excellent service. They were all friendly, professional, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit!

Service was great! Food was delicious and portions were more than enough. I had the eggs Benedict with ham and my partner had a vegetarian omelet. The side potatoes were a bit flavorless but otherwise highly recommend. The outside seating is lovely.

My wife loved her bologenaise. She said, "hands down the best spaghetti bologenaise i have ever had. No wonder this restaurant was a favorite of Clint Eastwood!" My salmon was perfect. The service was better than anywhere I have ever eaten. Don't make the mistake of not eating here.

We went here during lunch time, the restaurant was busy. The staff were kind and friendly. We ordered fish tacos, burger and chicken quesadillas. All tasted very nice. I love the setting, it was so cozy and welcoming.

We came during a weekday, and there was no wait. We sat on the outside and it was beautiful. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food was super delicious! They have this hot sauce that is so flavorful you have to try it. I will be trying to see if I can order this online. The hash is super delicious and I got the artichoke omelette. If you are in town, would recommend to stop by.

Village Corner gets extra points for being so helpful and kind. Another nearby restaurant gave me grief for bringing in a 12 week old baby in a stroller, but Village Corner happily accommodated me! The omelette was massive and tasty. Bottomless coffee is always a win! Everyone who works here is very friendly. Solid spot for a good breakfast in town!

Great tasting dish. Very well prepared and the service was good, too. I ordered the halibut fish tacos. My wife had the seafood pasta, and the rest of the group had halibut and chicken quesadillas. The place was moderately busy. There was, however, only one bathroom so there’s a bit of a wait to wash up. Otherwise, this place is highly recommended. We will definitely be back in the near future. Thank you to the staff and also the cook!

They’re not cutting corners here!Delicious sandwiches. Superb vibes. Retractable roof, nice plants, nice staff! I really liked the blackened chicken sandwich. Halibut tacos were also good (reportedly). And the mimosa… 😋🤠 Best part was the check coming inside a beach read book

Today, I treated my colleague to lunch at the Village Corner in Carmel, a charming restaurant nestled just around the corner. As soon as we stepped onto the patio adorned with vibrant flowers, we immediately felt a sense of relaxation and joy. The tall gentleman warmly welcomed us, setting the tone for our delightful experience. Throughout our meal, our waiter's kindness and professionalism were evident as he checked on us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the restaurant serves breakfast during lunch hours. I decided to indulge in the eggs Benedict and the gluten-free pancake, both of which left a lasting impression with their unforgettable flavors. Overall, the Village Corner surpassed our expectations with its excellent service and delectable food. It's truly an exceptional dining destination that I highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable culinary experience.

We went here for a light lunch and were pleased with the selection. We ordered 2 clam chowder bowls and a Tuscan chicken-pesto pizza. The pizza was delicious, and my only complaint about the clam chowder was that it was a bit runny. Our servers were friendly, and it was nice enough weather that we enjoyed sitting outside in the heated patio.

The service was great, the waiters were very attentive. The atmosphere is nice, we sat outside. Food was good. We had the brioche French toast, and huevos rancheros, and chicken fried chicken and it came with toast, 2 eggs and I got breakfast potatoes. The portions were good.

Stopped by Village Corner for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by their gluten-free options. My wife went with the veggie scramble, and I went with the two eggs any style, poached, with thick-cut bacon and rye toast. The rye toast wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but it was still tasty. She also enjoyed a mocha, which she said was just right. The atmosphere was cozy, an ambiance that made for a bright morning. Even though it was a busy Sunday, we were seated quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it was a solid breakfast experience, and we'd definitely return next time we're in Carmel.

The food overall wasn’t great, the spaghetti and pizza were pretty bland. But the veggie burger was actually on point! Service was really good, and we loved the vibe and music

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Food: American breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner Carmel is a very pretty, affluent well kept town and this corner ‘bistro’ for want of a better description seems to be a local favourite. It’s easy to see why. This was a breakfast visit and serves all your favourite diner classics along with some upgraded eggs Benedict selections. I look forward to trying the lunch and dinner here one day but will definitely recommend it for breakfast. What I liked: • Very friendly service • Good, well cooked breakfast order • Reasonable price point • The owner is a pro and very nice man who knows how to work the room engaging with his guests. 5⭐️ for him! • Nice courtyard dining area with fire pit What I didn’t like: • Thought the two eggs and hash browns portion size was very small and poor value compared to the Eggs Benedict options. Despite tasting very good I should add. Do I recommend going? YES Will I go again? YES Was it good value? YES (overall) Price Point: $$

I went for lunch and had the turkey club. The sandwich was really good. There were 3 slices of bread on the sandwich though which was a bit of a surprise. I also had a hot chocolate which was quite nice since it was cold outside the day I went and I was on the outdoor patio. They do have a fire but only a few tables sit directly next to it. I was next to it and very comfortable the whole time. The service was fine. The server was a little absent but there were plenty of people floating around to help if needed. It was a good lunch spot and I would go again.

This place came highly recommended, but honestly was not too impressed. The hostess was very friendly, but once we were seated, we waited at least 15 minutes just for even waters. Our food took even longer and while it was nice that they did have a gluten-free option for bread, they didn’t mention that there was a five dollar up charge for it and a basic BLT sandwich came out to almost $27!!!! The atmosphere is nice and location is great, but overall very overpriced and for average food .

The wait and service was really slow unfortunately and the food was disappointing. My partner got the halibut fish tacos which were dry and I got the cheeseburger which was stale. The atmosphere is cute, lots of dogs but the service and food were below average. We were lured in by the high rating so had to review!
