Food was great and workers were very kind.
This Dairy Queen is the world’s best restaurant i know it not only famous for quality food but also for its great customer service and cleanliness. Special thanks and special love to the cleaning crew . Who work very hard at nights to clean the restaurant so we can have a fresh morning start with the dairy queen . Special love to them .. 💙💙
I ordered a sheet cake for my daughter’s 6th birthday! When I called I had no clue what was possible for this cake! I requested blue and purple border the young lady I spoke to asked me what it was for I told her and she asked what else I wanted on the cake, I responded I don’t know what all is available I am just trying to make it as mermaid as I can for my little girls birthday! So the conversation ended with blue border on top purple border on bottom and pink writing of my daughter’s name! Birthday party day arrives, when I tell you this cake surpassed anything I could have ever imagined! I mean it was so beautiful, of course it taste great but my goodness the time and detail that was put into made the entire day so much more special! To whomever made this cake I thank you for exceeding my greatest expectation of what it would be, you truly have no clue the amount of happy she was to see this beautiful cake and all the other parents that were in ah of this cake, God bless you!
I have not been to a more professional or more caring facility in a very long while. They go way out of their way to assure that the service while visiting is nothing less than A+ quality. Food is always piping hot, ice cream machine always works, lol, and everyone is smiling. Great job to whoever is managing this business.
Blizzard was fine... I did ask for a Fluffernutter but didn't check my receipt prior to receiving it nor did I care to correct it and wait. I'm not mad... it was still good... just an excuse to go back till diabetes makes me stop.
I eat at this restaurant a few times a week. Most of the time everything is good . Only had a couple issues over time. But today half my fries were still cold inside and the other half were stale like they were from yesterday. And the meat in my burger was firm not sure why.
This was a busy Friday night, I get it. Everyone was doing fine until I came along and order something strange (plain vanilla ice cream in a bowl). The lady that took over my unusual request didn’t understand so I repeated it: “plain vanilla ice cream in a bowl”. She adds: “with chocolate! So you want a sundae”. No. No toppings. Just ice cream. Then she looked confused “no toppings”? Right! (More confusion and now with irritation on her part… like, what have I done wrong?! It took a while but I received my order as requested. Strange situation.
Photo speaks for itself. Every time I get a cone it’s all flat, not the 3 puffy bumps that is the normal signature Dairy Queen cone. It takes a special type of incompetence to mess up something that simple. They also rush you through the drive through and I’m still not sure why their dining room is closed. Like I understand you’re understaffed but it doesn’t take 5+ people to watch and clean the dining room :/
The sign on the highway said Christmas Eve open until 5:00 pm. We stopped by at 4:00pm and they told us at the door they were closed because they ran out of ice cream. It’s an ice cream place so I highly doubt they were completely out of ice cream. The lady at the door was kinda rude about it too.
Ofng came in to order food Lady was very disrespectful. Manager did nothing about it. unprofessional. I asked to talk to her manager boss she said she was out of town.
This Dairy Queen used to be really good.\n But now it sucks.
The Dairy Queen location in Carrollton GA has really gone down hill. The last couple of times I went there the workers all seem annoyed and unhappy to be there. No one smiles, no one is friendly. I ordered a burger with no ketchup and apparently to them it translated to "dump an entire bottle of mustard on it instead". It was inedible. Come on Dairy Queen - do better!
Employees are so rude and rush you. The older lady at the register in the evening with a long ponytail has the personality of a broken brick. I’ve never felt so rushed at a restaurant before.
Did not make salted Carmel Truffle blizzard correct. Seems like the staff doesn't know which ingredients go into their blizzards. Mine came with everything but the toffee bits. I am 9 month pregnant, so I sent my husband in to correct this and have them add toffee into it. They stated it already had it in it. Got an attitude. Went and got a cup to full of "toffee". Handed it to him. It was just more Carmel chocolate bits. Staff didn't even know what ingredients are what. My blizzard was melted at this point so we just sucked it up and left rather than arguing with the person at the counter.
Ordered 4 blizzards from the drive thru. Waited 10 mins after ordering. Ended up getting 4 minis, should have been mediums. And all of them were melted. Like it was a drink. What happened to flipping the cups upside down?
Don't go through the drive thru. We ordered our sundaes and didn't catch that they only had charged us for one, when we got to the window we realized it and just asked the to add the other one to the order and we're told can't do that you have to go back around and get in line again. We'll I wasn't going to do that so they called a Mgr over who again informed me they couldn't just add another sundae to the order and charge me we would have to get back in line so I cancelled the order and had them refund me. Now here is the thing the time it took them to do all of this, they could have just made another sundae and handed it to us. Really poor customer service at this location here lately used to be a friendly place where they always said hello and thank you. Not so much anymore.
Get anything but a blizzard. I have been here numerous times. I rarely get a blizzard because I’m convinced they don’t teach them how to do them properly anymore. I worked at DQ a while back when I was younger. We were taught the way to mix the blizzard so you can turn them over, and they’re thick enough to not spill everywhere. Sometimes customers would want it even thicker which meant not mixing as much and having the proper topping to ice cream ratio or not as thick which I would add either melted ice cream or a little milk. There’s a technique to it that I feel has been lost. I did ask for my blizzard to be thicker which I was informed was beyond their control(not true; they just don’t know how to do it.) I responded with, “Oh, you don’t know how to? Because I do. I used to work at DQ.” Which I think came off wrong because once I got to the window, I was questioned on the process. Then I was complimented on how they liked my shirt and it says be kind on it. Petty, but I digress because I wasn’t trying to be rude. I only stated an observation; it wasn’t an attack. I didn’t mean it any type of way. I did say it without a filter though, so I can see how blunt honesty comes off rude. I’ve included pictures of the blizzards right after we got them. We can’t even eat them. They are a melted mess. We put them in the freezer when we got home hoping we salvage some of our moneys worth. It was a cotton candy and picnic peach cobbler. Sigh~ I wouldn’t waste my money on a blizzard unless you like melted ice cream. I blame Covid, honestly. Seems like the quality of everything has declined.
