The food was amazing; everything we ate was delicious. The management is family-run and very welcoming. Definitely an experience worth repeating and one I recommend to everyone.

Excellent dinner, traditional dishes with a touch of modernity, and high-quality ingredients. This is our second time dining here, and the impressions from the first night were confirmed yesterday. The prices aren't exactly those of a tavern, but they're adequate for the quality, but the portions are generous! So, as a couple, you can easily share a few dishes to sample multiple courses: they even served us half portions of gnocchi already divided between two plates, a courtesy not many offer! The owners are kind and helpful, and the restaurant is rustic and quaint. Excellent dinner with excellent dishes; we'll definitely be back.

A wonderful dinner. The food was delicious. Alessandra was very attentive, helped us choose a wine to accompany our dishes. She also told us the story of the Eremita. The ambiance felt like a dinner at Grand'ma's house, comfortable, cosy and friendly. We will certainly return.

Authentic Italian food as it should be. A gem you'd probably miss if you didn't get a tip from a local.

We visited this restaurant on November 3, 2020. It was undoubtedly a wonderful experience. We appreciated the fact that, despite the time (1 PM) and day (Sunday), they made an effort to get us a table at 2 PM. The dishes we ordered were: a cheese-filled filo pastry appetizer, Gorgonzola gnocchi, rabbit plin, fillet with onions, and hazelnut cake with zabaglione. We were very pleased with the quality and flavors. The service was quick and friendly; we were greeted with many smiles and a small appetizer, always welcome. I highly recommend it, especially for those returning to Turin after a weekend in the Langhe and Monferrato regions.

I had lunch at this family-run restaurant. I arrived late and without a reservation, but the very kind owners let me stay. Even though I'm vegetarian, and the cuisine is typical regional, I found some excellent meat alternatives. I absolutely must mention the gnocchi stuffed with taleggio cheese and porcini mushrooms. The dishes are all freshly prepared and very tasty. The service isn't the fastest, but it's worth the wait. The staff is very friendly. The prices aren't those of a typical restaurant, but they're reasonable for the quality of the dishes we tried.

Great quality Piemontese dishes made with love in a casual charming rustic atmosphere. Very friendly service and a huge selection of local wines at reasonable prices.

Osteria dell'Eremita is one of a kind. Once you enter, you feel as if time has stood still. You can sense the history of the inn through the objects you find in the dining rooms. We were fortunate enough to dine in the Eremita room and learn about its history. Here, you'll find great hospitality from Mr. Gianni and his daughter Alessandra, two truly special people who make you feel at home. The cuisine offered is extraordinarily home-made and exceptionally delicious. I could tell you more, but I won't... I'll leave you with the curiosity of meeting wonderful people, with extraordinary hospitality, and a magical story to tell while you sit at a table, enjoying excellent food and sipping excellent wine. The choice is yours...

A beautiful family-run osteria, about an hour's drive from Turin, nestled in the Asti countryside. Upon entry, you'll be greeted by the father, cashier and candlelight; his cheerful and lively daughter manages the tables. Once seated at the table, strictly with a red-checkered tablecloth, you'll be immersed in books, maps, parchments, and memories of travels and experiences, like in a beautiful antique shop. The two of us chose an appetizer and two first courses, spending just under €50. For our appetizer, we were extremely satisfied with the Fassona tartare in a Grana Padano basket, from which you could perfectly taste both the freshness of the meat and the crunchiness of the Grana Padano basket. For our first course, we were inspired by the Plin with rustic ragù, whose pasta was incredibly soft and the filling incredibly tasty. For our second course, we chose the Rigati potato gnocchi with sausage sauce—there's nothing left to say except: excellent! Great value for money, generous and juicy portions. You will leave with a full stomach and satisfied with your meal.

We've been coming here during our holidays since 2016. The food is always amazing, the crostini always surprising(ly good), the service nice informal and friendly. Moreover a great selection of the best local wines.

Found this place almost by accident looking for a morning coffee. Asked if they did evening meals and made a booking. The food, wine and service were all perfect - made our Piedmont visit complete - highly recommend a visit.

What a delightful and delicious surprise. Excellent food, a real treat for the palate. A family run restaurant with interesting variations on many traditional piedmontese dishes. We can't wait to go back...

This place is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in Piemonte (and I go there every year). You might not expect it when you look at it from the outside, but regarding the quality of food and the wines they offer, this restaurant can easily compete with the expensive and fancy restaurants in the area. And the service is simply charming.

While searching for a new place, we stumbled upon this oateria run by a gentleman no longer young but incredibly kind. His wife was in the kitchen, showcasing all her extensive experience and knowledge in the dishes. The prices aren't quite those of a tavern, but those of a "renowned restaurant," but you leave the table feeling satisfied and contented.

A small, family-run restaurant in the historic center: the daughter serves, mother cooks, and father oversees the cash register and cellar. A cozy, intimate room filled with bottles, paintings, and beautiful objects. Attentive, courteous, and friendly service. A regional menu, with some interesting, creative twists. We chose the donkey agnolotti, rabbit with honey and thyme, and a zabaglione in a glass with crostatina: everything was perfect, both in quantity and quality. The wine list is extensive. The bill isn't exactly a bargain, on the contrary. However, our palate was more than satisfied.

Tidy place, well-prepared, quality food. Very polite waitress. You can sense the passion for this profession and the pride in your establishment... However, I would like to point out, with all due respect, that your prices are a bit too high, because if we assume a full menu, it would cost €80-90... I'd say way overpriced!!! Even considering that your competitors, just a few steps away, have more normal prices, in line with the Asti area. Perhaps this explains why there were only four people in your restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime. It's a shame, because your cuisine certainly deserves many more customers. Best wishes for your business. Reply to the owner's comment: Thank you for your kind reply. I didn't mean to be judgmental; I simply pointed out that a full menu would cost €80-90. The price you quoted for a quality full menu of €100-150 is not exactly fair. 40/50 is roughly what I paid for a very limited menu... Thank you again for your kindness in the dining room and for your response to the review, a sign of customer care.
