Tre Scalini Cavaglià Reviews
A cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. We booked to try the Piedmontese fritto misto, which was delicious. Very friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Free parking in front of the restaurant.
A delicious trattoria in the town center where you can savor traditional Piedmontese cuisine. A welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff complement the excellent, varied menu and excellent value.
The food is delicious and the owners are very kind. It's also great for takeout. The quality/price ratio is excellent. 5 full stars
We dined here on Saturday evening, drawn by the positive reviews, which I can only confirm. The service was very fast, friendly, and courteous. The quality was excellent; they even brought us seconds. We didn't have anything left over; everything was delicious. They were also very kind to our child, letting him taste the dish before serving it. The bill was also a surprise. We'll be back!
A small restaurant in the town center... best to book. We were lucky enough to get a table and enjoyed mushroom and buffalo mozzarella ravioli. Excellent appetizers with local cured meats. Main courses included meat and lake fish. A variety of desserts and impeccable service. Reasonable prices. Ample parking right in the town center. Definitely worth a visit.
We had a lovely evening, the food and staff were excellent. The selections are excellent and change daily based on the availability of ingredients, so the dishes are always fresh and cooked to order. Despite this, the wait isn't long. Prices are average and the portions are generous, making them excellent value. Satispay and electronic payments are accepted. Parking is free in front, and the restaurant is easy to find.
Traditional cuisine. We stopped for lunch on Sunday. The menu, all mushroom-based, included: tartare, Angus carpaccio, potato flan as an appetizer, tagliatelle and agnolotti as a first course, and finally stew and fried mushrooms! All served with house Barbera and raspberry cheesecake! Everything was delicious! Generous portions, and a special mention for the carpaccio, agnolotti, and cheesecake!!! Friendliness and helpfulness are a plus, with special attention paid to our children, who were served quickly (agnolotti and Milanese with fries). Not to be missed if you're in the area! You come to enjoy good traditional cuisine in a quiet atmosphere with friendly staff. Unbeatable value considering the quality and price! The rest is something you may or may not notice, but we've already decided: we're going to try the panissa!!!
ok
I had the opportunity to have lunch one Sunday at Trattoria Tre Scalini and I must say I was very satisfied: the restaurant isn't very large, divided into two rooms, but it's simple and rustic, yet charming and clean. The cuisine offers a variety of choices, generally traditional Piedmontese dishes, some with a modern twist: I found the cheese risotto, the freshly made Piedmontese fritto misto, and the dessert to be amazing. The service was excellent: fast, competent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was excellent. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants good food without too many frills, in a simple, homely style.
We were passing through Cavaglia and stopped in for lunch for the first time at Trattoria Tre Scalini. The waitress, Giorgia, was very kind, the food was quick, and the dishes were delicious. We had the agnolotti with meat sauce, the agnolotti with sheep's milk ricotta and pistachios, and the vegetable caponata—all delicious. The desserts were also delicious. They also accept large dogs, even though the restaurant isn't very big. We sat in a private room and had a great time. If we were to return to this area, we would definitely eat here again. 3 first courses, 1 vegetable dish, 3 desserts, 1 water, and 3 coffees for €50, excellent prices. Thank you, Giorgia, for your kindness and helpfulness.
A small but very welcoming restaurant with a distinctive red brick vaulted ceiling. The staff is very kind and attentive. The dishes, despite their simplicity, are meticulously prepared and plentiful. The cured meats offered among the appetizers are homemade and of excellent quality. The quality/price ratio is absolutely excellent. I highly recommend stopping by for lunch if you're in the area, but reservations may be recommended due to limited space. Ample parking is available in front of the restaurant.
A small trattoria in Cavaglià, perhaps a little hidden but not to be missed. Traditional Piedmontese cuisine with a few clever twists. The atmosphere is simple, family-friendly, and the staff are courteous and attentive; the tables are small and well-spaced. Impeccable service, more like a restaurant than a trattoria, features fabric tablecloths and excellent presentation (the eye counts, too). In any case, our "judgement" goes beyond the eyes, and above all, to the palate: the broccoli flans in bagna cauda sauce and the Castelmagno risotto are excellent. We'll be back to try the panissa, which we're told is superb. However, I'd like to add a piece of advice: the visible "utility room" leading to the restroom could be better managed and tidied up, so as not to detract from the rest of the restaurant. The space is small, and everything is noticeable, especially if left in plain sight. The restroom is basic but clean, as it should be.
Tried on September 31, 2022. Lovely location in the heart of Cavaglià. Dinner focused on porcini mushrooms. Delicious tartare on a bed of burrata with bresaola and julienned porcini mushrooms, excellent tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and a delicious roast with breaded porcini mushrooms. Excellent pistachio parfait and a delicious apple pie. Decent house wine. Competitive price. Recommended.
The atmosphere is typical of a trattoria, simple and clean, and the young lady serving was very kind and helpful. The food served, except for the raw beef tartare, was disappointing: it was obviously defrosted and reheated.
Trattoria tipica. Il servizio al tavolo troppo lungo. È passata un ora solo per l' ordinazione e quasi altrettanto per il resto. Piatti buoni (nella norma) e cameriera gentile. Prezzo troppo alto per i piatti servito senza un menù al tavolo.
