Loved it!!
This place is phenomenal. I wanted authentic Mexican food. And it did not disappoint. We had the shrimp nachos. Steak tacos . Everything was chock full of flavor. I hope to go back. I hope I he food is consistent
OK I took a chance on this place. Went there last night for takeout. Excellent service waitress was helpful and nice. Went home open the food. The first was Cuban sandwich. It was huge and very delicious. Especially the chicken 🐓Especially the chicken cutlet was very fresh. Rice and beans I had also very good. And then I had the shrimp tostadas. Probably the best I’ve ever had. And nachos with guacamole tomatoes and onions was also excellent. So yes I would definitely recommend this place!! And I will be going back soon!!!
It is one of the best places to eat. My wife and I come there all the time. We usually get a pitcher to ourselves and try to get something new every time. They are authentic, and the foooooodddddddd is amazing.
Me and my boyfriend went here to try the food we ordered and took it home their chicken tacos were delicious best I have ever had. My boyfriend got chorizo tacos and nachos and he said both were delicious he wants to go back to try their rice. Only thing is they don't really speak English so glad my boyfriend was there to order for us he speaks Spanish
My Wife is a gourmet cook, born and raised in Mexico. I know Mexican food, it’s definitely a 4 1/2 - 5 Star restaurant
I have been here two times and the food is delicious, the decorations inside are beautiful it makes you feel like you’re in a rancho out in Mexico. They have delicious natural juices. The orange juice is made fresh on the spot using fresh oranges. The Birria tacos are so delicious! The guacamole that comes with the fresh made chips is so addictive. You’re going to want to ask for seconds. If you’re in Central Islip or a town nearby, I recommend you go to Viva Mexico to try some authentic Mexican food.
Allen our host was amazing. Food was exceptional. If you have a chance to eat here, I highly recommend it.
Yes, there is a cash only policy. It is on a hand written sign as you walk in. The food is authentic Mexican! Not Chipotle or Chili's or whatever you are served at Applebee's. The food was excellent! Don't be put off by the $20 platters. It is more than enough food for two people. My wife decided to order one of those. It came out on two plates. So, spit one. We had the shrimp tostada for $2.50. It is excellent! Be sure to order one. Unless you're allergic to shell fish. In that case, don't be stupid. I had a 9.95 steak burrito. Also excellent! It was also very big. I am glad we stumbled across this little quaint restaurant in the heart of Islandia.
The food was delicious and friendly staff. I will go again!
Only been open 2 months ...very friendly..owner meets you at the door...Guacamole life changing..great food...will be back

The servers are great. The quesadillas that my guest had looked dry. The mexican was chewy. They changed it for me, but it was still bad and tested bloody. The guacamole was fine and needed more lemon and a pinch of salt. The salsa was bad, no flavor. The only thing i enjoyed was the beer.
The mango juice was weak with no flavors everything else was good

We went here for the first time because the decor and cleanliness were attractive. However the salsa that came with the free chips tasted like cold paste from a jar, and the chips tasted stale and as though from a bag. We ordered red beef enchiladas. What we got were 4 beef tacos in a red sauce. As a native Mexican American, I can attest that the food served is not at all Mexican. Also the prices were very high.
Terrible experience, spent about 40 dollars on takeout to get one little green and red sauce after we had to ask, there's a better food truck down the road.
Terrible service, I remember having amazing micheladas here before but after my most recent experience I paid $9 each for two modelo micheladas for my friend and I which ended up being opened modelo 12 Oz beer with tajin around the brim....
I went to to this place, expecting decent food. However, what I found was bland Mexican like food, very expensive and honestly, nothing to write home about. Waiting time long, and service mediocre. Taco trucks are better!! Do not recommend.
Waitress so rude. They don’t have manners with the costumers. And way to expensive food. Never coming back!
