Awesome restaurant, delicious but moderately priced dishes made for sharing. The interior is a bit small especially given its popularity, but it's open late and going early you can't go wrong either. to top it all off, byob.
Amazing food and excellent service. I went with a group of friends and we Wil definitely come back. My wife and I felt like we were in Europe eating great food with excellent presentation. Chef Andre, thank you for a wonderful experience
This is our new favorite place in the neighborhood. Great food at a reasonable price. BYOB is a plus too. We will be coming back!
Favorite restaurant in Chicago. Can't beat the Tu-Th $25 pre fix special. Never disappoints!
Likely the best restaurant in Lincoln Park. It's exceptional. Not typical for the area.
Wonderful service and savory food. Thank you for a delicious meal.
delicious brunch
We had brunch on Saturday here while waiting out a rain storm. We shared the BLT omelet and the Smoked Salmon Benedict with a side of hashbrowns. All of it was delicious. The salmon was perfect. The BLT had fresh ingredients that made it extra good. The service was also great. The wait staff was attentive and helpful in deciding what to get which was awesome. I looked over the dinner menu and it looks amazing. I will be stopping in for dinner in the near future.
Terrific Private Party experience. Outstanding food and atmosphere for an engagement party. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our son. The entrees were out of this world, and the desserts are the best in the city. Also an excellent wine selection.
This is a great place to go for a very good meal at a decent price. It is BYOB which is awesome, they have nice out door seating as well as a great indoor space. The menu changes all the time so this is a great place to go back to time and time again to experience something different. We came on the tail end of a private party but the staff was more than willing to accommodate us and make sure we didn't feel over looked. The food was great as well. I would definitely recommend Bistro Dre to anyone in the area.
Welcome pastries (really delicious banana bread bites!), Caramel Apple cider comes with a pastry and yes, entree's come with fruit and ... a pastry! How is a place this good not packed for brunch? It was pretty full but no line! Bistro Dre is super cute and cozy inside, the whole time I felt like I was in Paris! The menu changes a bit I believe but if they have the Smoked Salmon flat bread when you are there, get it! So delicious! They take flat bread to a new level, it is more like a super thin cracker but it paired nicely with the dill, salty capers, thick slices of smoked salmon and runny sunny side up egg! Smoked Salmon Benedict was really good, but the flat bread is where its at! I can not wait to go back and try dinner, but I will be back from brunch as well!
We've eaten here two times. The first time the service was sub-par but the second time they redeemed themselves. I think that's pretty common for most people who dine here. It is BYOB, which you have to love! I definitely think it's a Lincoln Park gem and recommend giving it a try.
The decor is very cute, but it's a French bistro with signs from Notting Hill in London on the wall. I came for dinner with a group of friends and we ordered lots of things to share - all of us agreed the starters were the strongest. Great fried green tomatoes, yummy Belgian fries with truffle cheese sauce, tasty eggplant flatbread, and a fantastic spinach salad with baked goat cheese and pomegranate seeds. For entrees we shared the fried chicken and waffles, which came with a side of beans. They were gross! The beans were cooked in root beer and had a rust-esque flavor. We ordered the steak frites which was so tough we sent it back and they didn't take it off the bill.
A unique French restaurant in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview area. Good food and good service. But cash only for brunch. Not exactly a great way to end a meal when you have to dash across the street to find an ATM
Horrible service sat 3 later reservations prior to us.
