Sacred Beast Diner Cincinnati Reviews
Went in to get out of the cold before an appointment. Coffee was amazing and fresh, the Maza ball soup was full of flavor and hot! Topped off with an almond butter cake which was light and delicious, sweet, but not too sweet and the raspberry puree was a nice touch. Everything was simple and perfect 👌 The atmosphere was nice old school jams, and the service was spot on. It was an unexpected yet nice self-date 😌 I look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu!
Price matches portion, I came here for the first time today and the flavor was perfect. I got cheesy eggs, white toast and hash browns and normally I don’t go for cheese let alone soft cooked eggs but they did this perfectly. Not everyone times eggs correctly but it was served at the perfect temperature with no unmelted chunks of cheese. To my surprise and delight the toast was served fried so if you pair the two it’s like a blissful grilled cheese with a bit extra protein. At first glance I thought they forgot to hash my browns but it was actually cubes of hashbrowns. I didn’t even need to salt them it was perfectly seasoned and tasted so good with their mild but tangy kimchi ketchup. The portion was bigger than I expected but I can’t complain about being full on 21.04. I couldn’t even finish my eggs but I should have come hungrier
The most flavorful food Ive had in a while! We split the truffle risotto balls. I had an Irish coffee. My friends had a machiato and an espresso martini. Then we each ordered the grilled mortadella, spicy nuggets, and burger, separately and were not disappointed. There wasn't a bite left on all our plates.
Everything about my first time here exceeded expectation. The absolutely sweet young women (sisters) who greeted us when we came in made us feel so welcome. The two guys behind the bar were fun, friendly, and helpful. The food was delicious. As a non-meat-eater I jumped at the idea of a blackened Mahi Reuben, and it did not disappoint. It was messy and glorious at the same time. Not a fan of the French fry dipping sauce, but just didn't eat it. If this picture of the two guys behind the bar doesn't give you the perfect idea of the vibe here, I don't know what would. We absolutely loved the entire experience and I will definitely add Sacred Beast to my regular rotation. I'm an idiot for not doing it before now!
We came bc I had outpatient surgery & the nurses at St E suggested we go for the lemon ricotta pancakes, and that did not disappoint! I took a to-go menu to share with friends because we loved it so much! Definitely a spot to frequent if you like an original & absolutely delicious meal! Service was also amazing.
Best brunch we have had in a long time! The deviled eggs are remarkable and the Bloody Mary was probably the best I ever had. You've got to try the goetta sausage as well. Excellent quality all around. They have ample seating outside if the weather is nice.
I've been here tons of times over the years. It's always consistent and delicious! It's one of my favorite places to have breakfast/brunch. I would highly recommend trying the bread pudding French toast and cheesy eggs when visiting!
Who doesn’t love breakfast for dinner? If breakfast isn’t your thing, don’t worry—our appetizers are just as irresistible. Whatever you choose, it’s comfort on a plate. You’ll leave happier than when you walked in. Pro tip: Going to music hall? Stop here first.
Great place to eat in Cincinnati. Parking is close and the area has an upbeat feel (at least the day we visited). The food is fantastic, we didn't try the drinks but they looked good. The matzah ball soup was the best I have ever had (yes, better than a delicatessen in New York City). The appetizers were great along with sandwiches and salad. Everything we had I would easily order again.
Great restaurant! From the atmosphere to the great service and great food! Kaitlin was an especially terrific service. Friendly, attentive, and professional. See pics for food recommendations. The only dish that was not great was the beef tartare. Everything else was outstanding! The deviled eggs and duck breast salad were especially good.
Update December 2025: went again for the Wife's birthday with some of her family and the experience was just as awesome as in the past. We haven't gotten anything that wasn't delicious. Had the fries with Lobster Gravy (GF), Fried Truffle Risotto Balls (GF), and the Dirty French on the Hashbrown Patty with an egg on top. The Dirty French is so decadent and delicious! Get it! Service is always great. It's quickly becoming one of our favorite spots in OTR. Food is delicious, service is great, and it's gluten free friendly.
Stopped by Sacred Beast for Sunday brunch without a reservation and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they were able to seat us. We started with mimosas, which were perfectly refreshing, and then ordered the Neckbone Gravy Hashbrown dish. The serving size was just right, and the flavors were spot on. Our server was thoughtful and recommended adding a side of toast to soak up the rich gravy—a great suggestion that elevated the dish. Service was friendly and efficient, making for an overall enjoyable experience. However, one drawback was the 3% processing fee for credit cards, which felt a bit off-putting. In an era where cashless payments are the norm (and often encouraged for efficiency and safety), it seemed unnecessary. That aside, the food and service were excellent, and I’d gladly return—just with a heads-up about the fee.
Sacred Beast is legit! The location is great because who doesn't like OTR? I mean come on! The interior is cool and modern with a nice back room that has a vibey style! The service was sweet and attentive and the drinks were nice and tasty 😋. The food came out piping hot and it was very flavourful! This place is solid! 5/5. I'd def recommend!
I absolutely adore this restaurant! I grew up with the owner’s children and remember when they first opened. The food has always been amazing, and of course the service is absolutely fantastic. My family and I love going whenever we can. Everyone here works so hard, and I can’t recommend Sacred Beast enough. Now that I’m an adult, I’ll be bringing my own friends and future family to enjoy the experience!
First time in Cincinatti, I walked into this place as a passer by. Just liked the interior from outside. Place turned out to have great food. I had "Dirty French burger" which had onion soup legacy in it and I had to eat it with a knife and fork. Very juicy and authentic taste, highly recommend! The whole place just has a nice touch to it, kitchen is open to see the process. Enjoyed it and would definitely return if I am in the city.
From the bar, the Sazerac and Hemingway daiquiri were well mixed. My server, Abigail was attentive, very friendly and had timing perfect for each interaction. Thanks Abigail! I loved the deviled eggs unique preparation, the salad fresh as expected and tossed with a nice vinaigrette dressing, the matzah ball soup is a real treat, very rich bone broth seasoned perfectly and served with a generous amount of chicken and vegetables and a wonderful matzah ball. The salmon is well seasoned, was actually cooked more medium well than medium rare and a smaller portion than I expected but still delicious with the brown butter and green beans. Dessert of chocolate pudding was totally accentuated with the crunchy, salty pistachio pieces on top.
We had a great experience at Sacred Beast Diner in OTR! The ambience was fantastic, with a modern vibe that made it a comfortable place to dine and relax. We tried the Parisian gnocchi, which was decent, though not a standout. However, the omelette was absolutely delicious, and the bread pudding French toast was a delightful treat – definitely recommend it! The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the enjoyable experience. I hope they add more vegetarian options.Overall, a solid spot for brunch or a casual meal, and we’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!
Food good, not great. Pancakes had wonderful texture but too much lemon. Scrambled eggs were excellent. Potatoes we interesting and tasty. 40oz Miller High Life!! Kimchi Ketchup worked!
I had really high expectations based on other reviews and I walked away really disappointed in both the service and the food. I made reservations two months prior and ended up with the table by the door that kept getting buffeted with winter gales every 90 seconds. This squeaky door constantly opening combined with incredibly loud music (loved the music choice) made it very hard to have a conversation. Our waitress just laughed off the complaint when asking her if she thought it was a comfortable way to eat. After waiting an hour to get our entrees, we were greeted with a dry mahi mahi on soggy bread and greasy fryer basket rice plus chicken chunks. Once again, our waitress did not offer a solution to the problems presented. As mentioned, I was very excited to go and ended up with one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time.
Where to even start? On Sunday 09/28/25 I made a reservation for Saturday 10/04/25 @ 7pm. We are regulars at OTR restaurants and have visited most of them in that “cluster” but had not tried Sacred Beast. We live in SE Indiana and it takes us about 35 min to drive in and we know we have to find parking in OTR so we give ourselves plenty of time. Well we arrived ahead of schedule because the drive in and parking were a breeze so we are there about 20 min early. The hostesses told us our table wasn’t ready and it would probably be ready hopefully by 7. They told us we could have a seat and then pointed to 2 chairs that were separated by a coat rack or we could sit at the bar. We chose the bar. We were greeted immediately but then completely ignored for the next almost 15 minutes. Finally got our drinks and our table was ready. We were seated at a two top table (which was great) right next to the patio door. My back is now right where everyone going in and out to the patio has to pass by. This is not relaxing or enjoyable. We made reservations, waited all week, arrived on time and waited patiently to find out that Sacred Beast wasn’t going to give us the same level of attention that we had given them. We went down the street and ate at Kruger’s Tavern where we were greeted and treated like they truly appreciated us. The attached photo is our food at Krueger’s. It was delicious
