ERICA'S CAFE Citrus Heights Reviews
I don't usually do reviews. But this place deserves a five star. Customer service like the old days. Little things top off your coffee, but not intrusive. Breakfast was wonderful food great service fabulous. I would highly recommend this place
First time in but the burgers were great and our service was amazing. Will definitely be back when we come into town.
I ordered the Eggs Benedict (with bacon instead of ham) and my friend ordered a Cobb Salad. The food was excellent, our server was very attentive, checking with us often, and the atmosphere was fine. I will definitely be going back to Erica's Cafe! It was a great find!
Amazing service and the food was so good ! Try it you'll leave with a full tummy and a smile!
What a gem! Went there for breakfast and were warmly greeted when we walked in. The menu was extensive for breakfast and lunch and included a senior option for smaller portions. The service was excellent, the food tasty and the atmosphere comfortable!
Delicious pancakes. They were huge and very tasty I had plotted to bring home for later. I think I got about three meals out of it. The bacon was a bit unevenly cooked, some of it was very crispy some of it was kind of rubbery. This is a very popular local place always busy.
Wonderful staff, yummy food. We had the corned beef hash, and the biscuits and gravy. We'll be back to try more things from their menu next time I'm in town.
The staff is always so helpful. The food is delicious, and the environment is comfortable. Brenda, my server, was incredible! She saw that I was typing on my phone to communicate, and she prioritized visual communication. I’m super impressed with this restaurant and the service. Thank you Brenda for your kindness!
We stopped by Erica’s on a Sunday morning and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. The service was top-notch—our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The breakfast? Absolutely delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and incredibly mouthwatering. If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot, Erica’s is definitely worth the visit.
We found this lil gem off the beaten path. The food tastes homemade and comes out fast. The server was friendly and coffee refills were plentiful. I was really impressed with their pricing and portions. We were a party of four, all had drinks with our meals and the total was about $70 including tax. We are from out of town but would definitely return when we're in the area.
Quiet little diner with very good service. The three of us sat down and had someone take our drink order right away. The staff here takes care of all the tables not just their tables. During our meal we were asked for refills at least 4 times and if everything was ok another 4 times by random staff, not just our server. The food was great. We had a Bacon Burger, Fish Burger, and a Pastrami Sandwich all served with French fries. We had a little problem where it looked like almost all of the pastrami was missing from the sandwich but it was corrected with pipping hot pastrami within 3 minutes. This was a good meal. Thank you.
🍽️✨ My family and I visited Erica’s Café for brunch, and we found it to be a cute and cozy little spot with a homely feel 🏠. The service was generally good 👍, though some of the younger servers seemed to need a bit more training 📝. For example, we had to remind them To bring out our drinks and when they did, they placed them on the corner of the table instead of passing them out to the correct person. We ended up doing that ourselves which was new for us. I was really looking forward to the chile relleno , but unfortunately, they ran out. I opted for the menudo instead, and the small size was just right for me — if you’re a big eater, the large portion is a better choice 🍲. The hot chocolate was rich and delicious ☕, and the chilaquiles were satisfying 😋. My sister, however, wasn’t a fan of the ham And cheese omelet 🍳. We think it would be better if the veggies were mixed into the eggs rather than placed in the middle 🥒🥚. Despite that, we appreciated the variety on the menu 📋 and the overall experience. We recommend checking out Erica’s Café for a warm, family-friendly brunch! 🥰
I’ve been wanting to try this place for breakfast for a while. It’s always packed on the weekends which is a good sign. Although it took about 20 minutes for a server to come to our table, the rest was a great experience. The pancakes were perfect and the sausage skillet was super tasty! Parking is limited, you may need to park behind the building like I did.
When I visited my Auntie from San Bernardino, I stopped at this little place while she was at work. I found it by using google maps, and this was on my way to her place which was up the street. The reviews seemed good enough and I walked in and I felt at home and warm. The staff greeted me with a smile and there were early birds already here. The table and bathrooms were nice and clean. Coffee is served in random mugs, which adds a homey vibe you can't duplicate too often. I ordered a scrambler with toast and hash browns. The meal was hot and very tasty. I recommend this place to anyone that's visiting or lives in the area.
Erica’s Cafe has become one of my favorite breakfast restaurant. Everything we have tried is great, and they have amazing customer service. Is a small family business that thrives to make a difference and they do show it. The Chilaquiles with T-bone steak is by far the best, well for me. My kids have enjoyed everything they order, and they are picky, lol. And to only think I almost didn’t come here because of some Yelp reviews, lol. It has been a great experience so far. They are always busy, and that’s for a good reason. They keep the coffee coming!!
Nice family atmosphere. Treated my parents to breakfast and they suggested the spot. I orderer the veggie skillet which was delicious the side of bacon not so much, needless to say I did eat it all.
I am always open to finding new restaurants and cafes and this is a match with one of my favorite genres, a diner vibe. So, I was glad when a friend of mine from the area brought me here. The place had quite a few patrons when we got there mid-morning, but the service was still attentive and the food came quickly, sooner than I expected. I ordered their corned beef hash and their servings were generous, nothing extraordinary, but certainly competent. I usually take a photo of my order, but somehow on this visit, I had a brain lapse. :-) The place was clean, it had good spirit and I've no complaints. I am always glad to support mom-n-pops and small businesses and this fits right in center what I endorse and encourage others to support. Happy eats to all of you.
1st time #Shelby.Da.Pooch and I were here. Only had to wait less than 5 minutes for a table. Seating was ok. Super noisey place. Had multiple TV with sports games on. Hard to hear waiter when he finally came over. Ordered my food and it was less than 10 minutes until I got it. This showed in the food quality. You could tell the food had been sitting around for a bit, pre-made. Wasn't horrible, just not the freshest ive ever had. Shelby enjoyed the sausage patties. ☆☆☆
Food was good, but service is poor. Was given dirty cups & dirty silverware. Atmosphere is very loud with screaming kids and impossible to maintain a conversation. Service was inattentive. No drink refills and waited over 20mins for a box and the check. I'm surprised the service was so bad considering there were at least five servers + support staff for such a small restaurant. Good for takeout I guess, but wouldn't eat inside again. Two stars coz the food is decent.
Ordered door dash. Got a biscuits and gravy which my 1 year old son loves. My son, who eats anything.. spit out everything we had him try. The gravy tasted like a pre-made packet and was the runniest gravy I've ever encountered. Sausage tasted frozen.. no flavor at all. Bacon was even hard to eat. I took a few bites myself and threw the rest away. My wife got a breakfast burrito that was salted so much she only had a few bites of that as well. Lesson learned.. if you already have a good breakfast spot.. don't try another. I hate to write negative reviews but this was about the worse breakfast experience I've had in over 10 years.
