Brown caffeine lab Ciudad De México Reviews
They really care about the quality of the coffee served and all of the options we tried were delicious. It was the favorite stop on the last trip to CDMX and it is definitely worth the trip.
Amazing spot to get authentic pour over coffee! They even roast the beans in house.
Great coffee, great service. Some of the best coffee I’ve had and the staff was really helpful in helping me decide what to get.
Low-key gem in Roma Sur where the coffee isn’t rushed, and you shouldn't be either. This place is for people who care—about beans, brews, and the ritual of it all. If you're just after a lifeless cup you could get at any airport terminal, hit the Starbucks down the block and keep it moving. There’s WiFi and a few tables, but don’t expect a co-working vibe. This joint is more for sipping, chatting, and soaking up a moment of analog peace. Bring a friend, ditch the screens, and let the coffee do the heavy lifting.
Amazing coffee! All coffee comes from small batch roasting. Came back for seconds and taking some whole bean coffee back home.
Nice little coffee shop. Good baristas that really care about coffee.
Excellent coffee, friendly baristas. One of the few places in the area I found to get a coffee that wasn't an espresso based drink (got a pour over and it was delicious).
Excellent pour-over and espresso! This place is really excellent if you are a coffee nerd, and the atmosphere is super chill. The coffee roasted on-site is tasty and an excellent value!
Great coffee roasters and specialty Cafe. They sometimes host other roasters' beans. Friendly owners and patrons. They pointed me towards other good shops too. They run clean milk pitchers and steam wands unlike other shops I the city.
If I had found this shop earlier, I would have stopped by every day. Brown Caffeine Lab is a great place to have tasty coffee, and an even better place to talk and learn about coffee. They had five coffees on the bar when I went and we made an impromptu flight by getting one of each. The quality of the coffee was immediately obvious, even to my friends who are newer to coffee tasting, and they had a good time comparing all the different options. Miguel roasts and runs the bar and he knows all the coffees thoroughly: which farm grew them, how they were processed, how they were roasted, and how to brew them. The cups he's producing on the Origami are spectacular and show off the coffee's full potential in the way only a roaster/barista/coffee-nerd can. This cafe is so clearly a center for the coffee community. While we were there, so many regulars, roasters, and competitive baristas came through. It was a treat getting to be a part of that temporarily!
If you know about coffee and care about quality this is your spot ! Many coffee places think they can get away with mediocre quality and sloppy preparation. It’s rare to find a gem like this! . The best coffee I’ve tried in many years. Fresh roasted!!! well prepared, attention to detail, good service, and good vibes. Highly recommend!
Really delicious coffee and reasonable prices. The owner, Miguel, is really sweet and super passionate about coffee. We had a nice conversation and he gave me some lunch recommendations, too. He’s a coffee expert! Highly recommend. Also a nice place to work.
