La Cadencia Lonchería Tonala Reviews
Very quick service and the steak was amazing!
Very good food here.
Tasty steak and chimichirri. I'm so glad I visited this restaurant, it's my first time at an Argentinian steakhouse and definitely not my last! My thanks to the kind staff.
Very delicious! The arrachera was very tender. The fajitas also very tender. Cocktails were super. Everything was great.
I could dine here every day for a month. The food is excellent, the service impeccable and they pay great attention to detail. Small bar, but they'll make any drink you can think of and it will be done to your absolute satisfaction. Everything here is done to your satisfaction.
The quality of food and service at El Corte 7 is unrivaled in Roma Norte. Set aside some time to sit down and enjoy an amazing meal. Ask for Edgar, he's a great server and tell him Rich from Chicago says hello!
Good service and good food. There is some surprise on the bill though: the billed amount is about 10% up from the menu, and the Kirkland bottle water was charged 2.5 USD / bottle (only 0.25$ / bottle at Costco vender machine in the US, let alone if you buy a box). Overall a good restaurant with minor discomforts.
This Argentine Steakhouse in the Roma Area of CDMX has a simple yet accommodating atmosphere, tranquil and tame surroundings. This is a no frills set up until you are surprised by the staff’s pleasantness and courteousness and the food’s presentation and quality. This nondescript little place on a corner surprises! The aromas wafting through it entice your palate towards more than you think you can eat. I do agree with a Reviewer stating it was an irritation to have the looping videos on their TVs showing the preparation of the foods they serve, over and over! Albeit an annoyance, they offer do offer good eats, including an excellent and refreshing Sangria Preparada which all at the table enjoyed, the Pasta Bolognesa, el Pollo a la Parilla with Papas al Horno, as well as their fresh Ensalada Griega. A very good place for lunch.
It was a nice evening out celebrating my sister's birthday and we had a good experience at this restaurant (which she and her family visit frequently). Although almost empty on a Friday night, the service was a bit slow or laid back and we kept getting people asking for money right at our table, which a maître dit could have sorted out for us. The food was great, the ambiance and service did not impress me.
Great service and decent meats in the Roma Sur 'hood. 1 star off for the "I'm sorry we don't have those three wines" routine. Entertaining people watching if you get a sidewalk table.
If you're looking for a great steak, this is not it. If you're craving it and want to get it out of the way, maybe, but even then, I wouldn't go again. Prices are mid-range, but you can get better steak somewhere else for the same price. The steak had a very pleasant taste, but you could tell the grill master is still learning how to properly cook a decent steak - it was extremely dry and chewy. Pros? Place is clean, lights are dim (if you're in that mood), service is good and they serve a nice cucumber gin!
Very unfortunate that we got food poisson from the meat. Very kind service and good location
We came here to watch Spain vs. Portugal around 1pm. The place was completely empty, but the staff told us they wouldn't be showing the game. About an hour later we walked past it again, and lo and behold - they were showing the game on every screen that they had. Way to lose local clientele guys, keep it up! Will happily avoid this place and recommend you do the same. It's a shame because their ribs are actually pretty good.
Horrible experience with waiters very rude, poor food and staff no education. I was waiting for 45 min to be served, my food coming cold and no taste, I found hair on my food, not good experience, I don’t recommend this restaurant. Management and staff absolutely no polite. This restaurant is scammed they ove charge my bill, I ll never come back.
