Good small town fast food joint. Burgers, chicken and steak fingers are all tasty so are their fries. Kinda similar to a DQ only 50s style inside. Also has a drive thru.

Went hiking nearby and was starving afterwards and this definitely hit the spot! I tried the bacon burger and it was great! A nice Texas home style burger. The fried pickles were awesome too.

Didn't go inside, as it was a drive-thru order. Staff was friendly and professional. The food took a little time because it was made from scratch, a good thing. The wait time was reasonable and the sweet potato fries were very good.

We have been here twice so far! Picked up pizza the first time and it was delicious and I was greeted and helped by a sweet girl. Last visit a few days ago lol. We went in with my kids and mother in law and father in law we got burgers, grilled cheese, chicken strips and chicken crispitos. Everyone loved their food and the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great as well. A huge thank you to the young girls who tired so hard to help my kid overcome his fear of talking to people and asking for a refill. Going back today for a 3rd visit

This is a true 50's feel with food choices from hamburgers to pizza. Onion rings are awesome! Service and atmosphere, along with great food, keep this place hopping! The soft serve ice cream cones are very true to the time era. The food is made fresh to order. This is a very clean, lively environment. There is a drive thru available. Need it to go, not a problem. Call in order's are welcome as well.

Just visited The Hop and will continue dining here. Great service, good food (we got the Monday Special with French fries and vanilla milkshake), and very welcoming. Highly recommend if you live or driving through Coldspring!

Great old style cheeseburgers that are nothing like the fast food chains. Real bacon slices too that have good flavor. Service is quick and the personnel are always happy to help you and assist in anyway. I don't get by this way much but when I do, I make it a point to least stop by for a freshly made vanilla malt. They can make most any flavor as well. If you like old school burgers then you will not be disappointed here at The Hop!

Tried this place for supper tonight. I'm so glad we did. Mine was a huge chicken strip basket with gravy and fries, hubby had a double cheeseburger with bacon and jalapenos, and hand battered onion rings. Everything was on point, and the prices are great. If I lived close ,I'd eat here 2x a week or more. We wanted to get shakes, but we were so full afterward. Spent about 11.00-12.00 each person.

The food is always beyond amazing. Staff is friendly country folk. Atmosphere is great. Free refills. Wish they had fresh squeezed organic lemonade instead of fake pink lemonade. But that doesn't dimish anything about this business. Their onion rings are 5*****. Their chicken salad is delicious! The grilled chicken sandwich with extra picks is muy bueno!! Ice cream is great too!!

We LOVE this restaurant! Fantastic fried pickles and fries 😋 My daughter's and I had a lovely after school snack the other day. It was a great environment to relax & make special memories together. We've NEVER had our order wrong here before. Everything has been spot on. Ps the ranch dip here is some of THE BEST EVER.

Hubby and I stopped off here for lunch. I had a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and he had double bacon cheeseburger with tater tots. My burger was delicious! That bacon had really good flavor and the burger also comes with bread and butter pickles and shredded lettuce and onions on a potato? bun. Wow, sooo good! I don’t know what it would have tasted like without the bacon but it was definitely a plus. Sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly. We’d definitely come back again. In comparison, my favorite burger is at Becks Prime.

Not what i was expecting from a place taht attracts tourists or good old fashioned cooked food the restraunt is beautiful but the food didnt match up to what i though i was getting from a place like this. Fries are bland even with cheese i prefer them with the gravy it made it taste so much better, kids menu is pricy for the quantity, also again the price is to expensive for the quality to just suck, the food has no flavor and as far as what me and my family ordered, the burgers are good in size for the price mine was alright. It didnt really taste original or anything different from eating fast food. Im not sure what makes it so expensive. It wasnt a hit for me.
