Babes, Bagels, & Beans Corning Reviews
Atmosphere is super welcoming and cozy. The staff was helpful to help us with any questions we had on the menu and helped us customize our orders to our taste easily. I got the California club and Carmel frappe. My fiance got a bagel and a salted caramel latte. Food was really good. Drinks were balanced and sweet, but everyone's taste is different. Sorry I don't have more pictures, I ate the rest before I started the review 😅. Price is a bit high, but it's good food and I got a 16" sub. Support local businesses and healthier food was worth the price.
The most delicious hand crafted beverages and delicious bites! We had a wonderful time stopping here for a light breakfast before we stopped at a few museums and it was the perfect place to stretch our legs. Adorable interior and the staff was super friendly! Prices were a little pricey but worth it!
the lox bagel is the best. also love their coffee roast. more italian less french. service is good.
Babes BAGELS & Beans gives credit for providing superior service on its web site and exactly what is provided! My partner and I visited this shop on a busy Saturday afternoon and picked a day on which Corning NY was having a event. The restaurant was extremely busy and we decided to order bagels to take home. Not only was the service fast but it was superior. Orders are taken at the front counter bar and menu boards are large enough to see. Marble rye as well as a gluten free bagle are options for those who have dietary needs. Our order consisted of a half dozen of bagels. Blueberry onion marble rye and gluten free made up the order. Bagels are wrapped in separate bags and are placed into a larger one. The packager considerably checked to see if the marble rye and gluten free would be packaged separately or together. Wait time was minimal. Bagels are large delicious and cooked with a golden soft top. The gluten free as well as the marble rye were simply delicious and put in the toaster for added flavor. Blueberry as well as the onion were scrumptious. Babes Bagels & Beans knocks the socks off of NYC bagels. My only request is could you please open up a Babes bagels & Beans in Wyoming NY? I know I will get some serious cravings for the best of best bagels along with your superior service. Thank you bagels & beans and next time Im in Corning NY I will be back!
I wish I lived closer.. if I did this would definitely become my go to breakfast spot. Food was delicious and staff very friendly.

The bagels are the real deal—authentic NYC-style with the perfect balance of chewy and crisp—and the menu goes far beyond just bagels, offering a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Had a lovely coffee this morning at a local business I had never been to. The wait staff were friendly and generous to customers with their time and service.
Excellent bagels and drinks with a surprising number of vegan options! Can get extremely busy during weekends and during peak hours, but is much quieter at other times of day. Well worth trying!
Labour day weekend, Everything is shut around. But this place dint disappoint. The bourbon caramel latte was perfect for a cold morning, and the babe special bagel was just a hit
Came here for breakfast during the Corning marathon. It was super busy. Lots of bagel and spread options. Delicious
Had great bagels and coffee at Babe’s! Beware of the long queue on Sundays.

Caramel Frappe with Oatmilk, DELICIOUS As far as the bagel; Not exactly what I asked for, but still ok Babe's special on an onion bagel, open faced, add Swiss.. 1st, there is 0 cream cheese on this bagel, which is fine, I'd prefer some honeycup mustard anyways 2nd, regardless if there were cream cheese on it or not. It's open faced. Why wouldn't you put the toppings underneath the Swiss cheese to hold it together better instead of dumping it, trying to eat. Plus, it'll make the bagel less dry with no cream cheese or mustard- food for thought REPLY ***Edit... I'm not complaining, I shouldn't assume with the NYC bagels but just saying you have Ithaca bakery style potential & it'd be a money maker around here

Great bagels and coffee. Good gluten free options.
We went to Babes twice when we were in town for a conference. The menu is great…lots of food and drink choices. Cute decor and SUPER fast service. We loved that there were plant-based milk options. Seasonal specials. Highly recommend this place and wish there was a Babes in my town.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Love the atmosphere along with the pleasant staff. I walk in and get greeted by one of them every time! My favorite is the 2 breakfast wraps for 5 bucks👌 The iced coffees are excellent and they make them EXACTLY how I like them! (I am very picky with my coffee) I recommend this establishment 100% with an A+ on all categories to go with it! 🙂 Thank you for being awesome! Joe Brois
I got an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and the bananas foster shaken espresso. Coffee was great! Good color and coffee was smooth. The bagel itself was also very good, however there was almost no cream cheese. Definitely would request more next time.

I stopped here for breakfast recently while visiting the area for a long weekend. My husband and I each ordered a latte, mine was a hot lavender and honey with oat milk and his was an iced local maple cream latte with skim milk. Both drinks came out iced, not a huge deal, but not what we ordered. My honey lavender latte was VERY heavy on the lavender syrup, to the point that I couldn't taste any other flavor. It was just way too strong. The local maple cream latte was very good, though. For food, I ordered a classic breakfast sandwich on a spinach bagel and my husband had the marble rye special breakfast sandwich - both were very good, the bagels were spectacular. We also got a donut to split, we ordered it thinking it was maple glazed (they weren't labeled and when we asked for it, the person at the counter didn't correct us) so we were surprised when it was peanut butter. Totally fine for us (better, actually), but definitely would have been an issue if one of us had a peanut allergy. So, just a word of caution if you're ordering donuts to double check the flavors. The staff was friendly and our drinks and food were out in a very reasonable amount of time. We would go back for the bagels the local maple cream latte for sure!
Bagels were solid. Had one for breakfast and went back for a late lunch bagel the same day. Pretty extensive menu. Something for everyone honestly. The coffee was OK. I got excited about the specialty drinks but I dont enjoy the monin syrups. They have a kind of chemical taste.
Generally a frustrating experience , we have been before without issues but this was rather off the wall. We ordered drinks and bagels , on GF and sat down. Got our drinks , these were great and came out fast. We then waited for 40 minutes for our breakfast sandwiches , and after watching folks who came in after us leave , we decided to ask about our food. Unfortunately the order was never placed and they would only just be making the food now. And in the time we were waiting , the sold the last GF bagel. They offered regular toast instead and offered a refund for the experience. This was frustrating but we agreed and got our food and left. It's not until I only received a partial refund that I decided to write a review. This is extremely poor customer service , and poor management and I hope they are able to do better in the future when there are issues. I really appreciate the staff reaching out to resolve the issue and listen to the feedback. Ultimately we know stuff comes up and only posted due to not receiving the full refund that was offered.

Ordered a vegan cream cheese with tomatoes. Usually it's a thicker spread of vegan cream cheese and sliced tomatoes. But not sure what this is. There are so many cream cheese brands out there, maybe ought to change? Also bagel wasn't cut in half.... I would say a fail on all levels. I'll stick to the normal bagel and cream cheese. Great spot I'm sure. Just bad first impression
Food and coffee was good however service lacked significantly. I was not given my drip coffee cup after ordering I assumed it was cause we were waiting for our iced coffee order this was not the case. Our iced coffe order was set on the table a name was not said and it was not set with a ticket for us to check if it was ours we stared at it for 15 minutes before asking if it was ours the Barista’s did not know and only stated that “ well it’s the only one up there and we already sent that order out”! Service was so terrible that we might not go back
This was my second time dining at Bagel’s, Babes & Beans, and it felt like a special visit—I treated my former student and mentee to breakfast. We were both craving bagel sandwiches, and as far as breakfast bagels go in Corning, this is genuinely the best option on Market Street. Because of that, I do come in with fairly high expectations around both quality and service. Our total bill was $38.23, including a 20% tip. Staff The staff overall came across as very friendly, and it’s clear they enjoy working there and want customers to have a good experience. The person at the register was especially kind and personable. When I asked whether the turkey club (a lunch option) was available around 10 a.m., a staff member working the line chimed in and kindly offered to make one if I wanted. I didn’t end up choosing that option, but I really appreciated the flexibility and care in that moment. Service & Timing & Ingredient Quality This is where I felt the most challenged. For the second time now, I went to pour coffee and found one canister empty (this time the medium roast), while the other options were lukewarm. I didn’t say anything because it was clear the barista and kitchen staff were busy and working hard to catch up. I’ve lived in NYC at various times throughout my life. If you are going for a trueblue bodega-style NYC bagel experience, your drip coffee needs to be hot and pouring! Paying close attention to your drip coffee bay is critical. Especially since the coffee is good, it just needs to be hot. It was also a little awkward to have to ask for half-and-half; having it available at the coffee station, in a climate controlled canister, would help things flow more smoothly and reduce interruptions for staff. Also - please.keep.wooden.stir sticks. stocked. and. easily. available! When our sandwiches were ready, they were placed on the counter and likely sat there for a bit. By the time we noticed and brought them to the table, they were cold. I am hard of hearing, so it’s possible I missed my name being called, but the person with me also didn’t hear it. Projecting voices a bit more when orders are ready could help. Again, I didn’t bring this up in the moment because staff were clearly hustling, and I didn’t want to add stress. I also ordered lettuce and tomato on my bacon, egg, and cheese and that was skipped despite paying for it. Lastly, I’ve read the responses to some of your reviews, and I acknowledge that you claim and aspire for quality ingredients. But I’ve got to be honest, you need to up the standard a bit. Your bacon is paper thin and reminds me of what we used for bacon sandwiches when I worked at McDonald’s in the 00’s. Get the quality bacon—we will pay for it. Seating & Atmosphere Seating is limited, which can make it difficult during busy times. I also noticed that the table directly in front of the register is off-balance; when I stepped near it, the table tipped forward and my (already lukewarm) coffee spilled slightly onto my lap. Additionally, I know it’s February but your space was a bit chilly. Heating costs are high. Are there creative solutions? Perhaps a cozy couch to replace some of the tables. Overall I genuinely want to support this business, and I want it to be one of my go-to spots. The food and coffee are solid, but both really need to be served hot, and small service and quality control adjustments would make a big difference. With a nearly $40 bill for two people, consistency and quality feel especially important.

Not sure where all these great reviews come from. We have visited this place on Sunday, since most of other places were closed. Bagels and bread are pulled from the plastic bags, similar to what you get at the supermarket. Bagels should be freshly baked at least if you have word "bagel" in your name. Coffee is terrible, tastes like in cheap deli store, even though the place uses an actual espresso machine to make coffe drinks. The only positive thing about this place is a crew, which is very accommodating and apologetic for the wait time.

I ordered a lox bagel and mixed frozen drink. The bagel came with barely any cream cheese and they omitted the fresh dill. I added more cream cheese at home, but I might as well have just prepped the whole thing at home. The mixed drink did not stay mixed and I had to re-bottle and shake it at home. Despite this, it didn't taste like much of anything other than ice. Definitely a huge disappointment, I won't be back. It's not acceptable to order ready made food and then have to add to/ alter it at home. The prices are too high to have to deal with this.
