Bill Miller BBQ Corpus Christi Reviews
I just ate there tonight and had a three meat plate, it was great: ribs, brisket, and sausage. 😋 👌 🙌 Juicy and smokey goodness. Everyone was nice and helpful. I liked everything, though the rice tasted good it was over cooked to me. The only issue I has was the cold dinner rolls. Rolls should be warm at least but otherwise great food.
Ordered #7 2 chopped beef with fries and tea. Everything was hot and delicious
I was unsure about this location due to neighborhood and the fact that the front entrance was blocked off with a large piece of plywood ( obviously a car drove through at one point) but 1) the place was very clean 2) customer service is a top priority there 3) the food was absolutely fresh and the bar they have the condiments on are fresh and clean 4) another thing the workers come to the table to see if everything is good In a city where there are several Bill Millers in various locations I think this is my favorite!!
We just moved here to Corpus and this was our first time here and IT WILL NOT BE OUR LAST ‼️ We was greeted by a friendly employee soon as we walked in because we're didn't know where to order. He was very observant when taking our order. You can clearly see their work station behind the counter and I instantly noticed how clean everything was!!! Including the dining room. And not to mention we really must have screamed that it was our first time there, so right before we left the same employee who took our order came to out table and said, " We have extra pumpkin pie would you two like a piece"? Over the top nice, great service, food was great and FREE PIE 🥧😋🥰 I would recommend this place to anyone!!!
Pros: breakfasts here are fresh with real ingredients nothing tastes like it's been frozen in a box for a year and brought out a day before expiration. No one seems to know they serve breakfast here so rarely is there a wait. The staff here is friendly and hard working. The tea is almost always good. Cons: restrooms are small. Although Silverado smoke house has them beat on quality, for the money this place is the best in corpus. I eat at this restaurant several times a week and will continue to.
Great service. Order was put together quickly Casher, young woman, was helpful and courteous. 3:50 on Monday the 12th. She deserves a pat on the back.
they could greet w a smile more and not look like they dnt wanna be there thats why i gave service 2 stars
Greeted with a friendly smile. Fast service. A handful of dirty. Quiet eater. That means food is good. Flavorful brisket and sausage with double green beans and Pinot beans. Onions and pickles are on a separate bar for your selection. I only wish a tea container was available to customers to avoid waiting for a refill.
Has great tea as always. Love there sandwiches. Giving two stars off, for there pies are great, but their so called cherry cobbler is a joke! Full of broken pieces of crust with a tidbit of cherry if your lucky. All packed in a gravy two ounce container is plain wrong. Very disappointed as their normally not small portions of pie. What other short cuts are next??
Great good. Fresh and homemade. I was greeted upon arrival. I tried one Carnie Guasada & one Lean Brisket Taco. Ms. Delgado states her business is successful because of her dedicated staff. Lots of seating is available inside. You can order out or they offer catering. I would recommend their location.
Order the regular plate and the 3rd side that are beans was placed in with the brisket and BBQ sauce. Why wasn't it put in a separate container?
I ordered extra brisket at the last minute ( when I got to the window) and I paid the new price and I was told it would be on the side. I saw my salad delight but no extra brisket. I still have the two tickets. Lesson learned, DO NOT DRIVE OFF without checking your order. First time I had this happen at this location. I was a little disappointed.
Took them 3 tries to get my order correct and my tortillas were stale and hard. Ordered a half dozen brownies to go. I went to grab them from the display and they said they would get them from the back. They gave me old stale dry terrible brownies. I enjoy Bill Millers but this location has been bad over and over
The brisket and sausage tasted great! Even more so with the barbecue sauce. The staff was friendly and even gave us a friendly farewell. There were two issues that stopped me from giving five stars. First the red salsa had a weird pungent smell that we hispanics know comes from it being spoiled, luckily I smell my food before I eat it or I know that would have hurt me later. The second was the bread rolls, they were a little stale and tough, not soft like I've had at the one on Everhart. It is a good place for barbecue but be weary of the bread and salsa.
I usually order here all the time, today was not so great. Did y'all change your recipes?? Sweet tea was not sweat , fries were not wedged like normal... And how do you forget my onions and pickles with my number one?? Chicken strips were good though, very tender. I'm more upset about my pickles, onions, and sweet tea.
We ³ordered One Poorboy Brisket Plus with beans. We also ordered a regular poor boy .We did not get the beans, they gave fries instead! Also. the plus had less meat than the regular, neither much at all!! Very Disappointed in amount and quality of the meat! This was on Padre Island drive in Corpus Christi!
Brisket and sausage plate..... what a joke. Do not eat here.
They completely forgot our brisket, most sides were wrong. When I went to get a refund employees thought it was funny that the order was wrong. I drove 15 minutes there and 15 minutes home to go go back. So A hour of my priceless time wasted. They think it's funny I should have gone to Rudy's!
The worst BBQ I’ve ever had in my life. The brisket was slimy, like it had been sitting in a puddle of grease for days, and so salty it could’ve cured meat twice over. The beans were flavorless mush, the coleslaw looked like it had been chewed, spit out, and scraped off the floor. The roll had a visible finger poke, and the pickled onions were just tossed in the bag like trash. This wasn’t a meal it was an insult on a plate.
I’m sorry to say that this easily the worst BBQ I’ve ever had in Texas. From the ordering experience (sadly the guy didnt' listen or assumed I said things that I did not) to the food which was a big let down, it’s a hard pass and I won’t be back again. The brisket portion was small, mostly fat and just soggy meat with grease and no real flavour (like a soggy fat stew). The rice was also bland and tasteless, and the fries were like soggy, greasy re-heated leftovers. Just disappointing.
