We stopped by Coffee Waves and honestly, the inside was such a pleasant surprise—it looks way better than the outside! The vibe was calm and cozy, with a good number of people quietly doing their own thing. The cashier was super nice and didn’t make me feel weird for not knowing drink names (love that). Both staff members were polite and welcoming. The drinks were spot on! I got a matcha with sugar-free vanilla and swapped out the honey they usually add. I also added strawberry cold foam, so good! My boyfriend got something that totally gave caramel Frappuccino vibes (I forgot the name, sorry!). I tried checking their website for a menu but couldn’t find one, so that was a little tricky. Overall, this place is a hidden gem. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

I always swing by here on the way to class if I am wanting a coffee or something to eat. The coffee is always good here, haven’t had anything I was disappointed with. I usually get the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Croissant and it’s always great. The service is always very friendly, asking about my day and how I’m doing. LOVE this place!

This was a good coffee shop. I got an iced pistachio oat milk latte and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Both were really good. There is plenty of seating and it is quiet in the mornings. The staff was super friendly.

We used to frequent coffee waves when we lived in Corpus and it’s always one of our first stops when we visit now. They have the very best coffee. The grasshopper is our fave - can’t be beat!!

Big train is one of their best sellers and I like their caramel flavor so much. The ambiance in this coffee shop is pretty cozy when you want to study but it has its busy hours of course usually in the morning.

Always appreciate the coffee and service at this shop. Definitely one of the best in town. The service is great too and usually fast. Parking can be difficult during peak times but nothing major. I highly recommend.

I was recommended by a friend about this coffee place and let me tell you, thank god I found this place. The building itself if really pretty! My go to drink is “Christmas in a cup”, like it’s soooo good! It taste exactly like it sounds it’s just simply amazing. I highly recommend that drink!! Drive thru goes by fast! Friendly staff as well!

Calm, relaxing atmosphere with delicious coffee... What a combination! Definitely worth a visit. Students it's got a lot of outlets so if you want to crunch out that assignment just pop in and put on your finishing touches with a side of their seasonal coffee.

The bald dude has really bad customer service. He seemed like working a job that he chose was so bad that he had to project it onto the group I was with. No smile, terrible tone of voice, and bad attitude. Other than that, food and drinks were great.

The coffee frozen blended drinks were made very well, the scoop of coffee gelato tasted amazing, and the service was just as good. They had some nice looking pastries and sammys on the menu....we'll try some of those on our next trip. This visit had mixed results. My one scoop of cookies and cream gelato was good but they've dialed the assortment back to six flavors and coffee wasn't one of them. My wife had a frozen blended drink that turned out well. Our friend got an iced americano......they forgot her order at first, then what they brought her was weak and bitter, she mentioned it and they brought her another stronger but bitterer version....she thought it tasted like it was made from instant. We did a lot of bragging about this place....her order wasn't up to their usual high bar.

I met the most unpleasant barista at the coffee waves on alameda. I was deciding on which sandwich to choose and at this time the barista was placing wrapped pastries and sandwiches in the container. I wanted to further inspect the sandwich and she snapped at me so disgustingly. She seems like she doesn’t like her job and hates interactions with customers. Food was good but the experience left me questioning if I’ll ever return to that specific location.
