D.P. Dough Cortland Reviews
They always deliver fast no matter what kind of insane calzone I'm craving. The food is always good.
One of the most amazing freshes Mac daddy calzones I’ve ever had in my life last and the the CBR was also amazing I would get them again no matter what
We normally love to eat here but with college in town it's impossible. But the food is amazing
Where else can you get a delicious dinner for two for $15!! The staff are very police and attentive. My order was ready when they said it would be. I would recommend eating at DP Dough.
We are from Cortland/Auburn NY born and raised but we have lived in Nashville TN for the past 5 years. Every time we come home to visit (this time for Christmas) we have to get DP Dough! The guys are so friendly there and the orders are always made correctly! The food is always hot and so delicious!! I would highly recommend trying them if you have not and if you have you should already know!!
Delicious! Walked in to order and they honored the quad deal as we had trouble placing an order through the mobile app. Helpful and friendly staff that explained the deal and was patient with us. The food is great! A great value for what you pay for and get. The calzones are big with plentiful filling and comes with a sauce. I ordered an extra and that is totally OK since I could only finish one half, so I'll have sauce for the other half. Yummy, cheese sticks and cinnamon sticks. Super happy with my experience.
Excellent food here!! Great service here & very friendly helpful staff!!! We stopped for lunch had 3 different types of calzones to try them. We don't have these where from. Everyone we sampled were fresh ingredients & very tasty! The chicken salad was very good also. Fresh crisp romaine lettuce, not wilted or brown. Would definitely recommend .🤗 We will return return when in the area !!💞
First off.. they have a bathroom, but it's out of order .. that's a problem if you bring your kids. The tables looked as if they needed a major cleaning. Food is ok. Not everything on the menu is available. The online ordering needs to be more user friendly.
Good food. Very tasty! Prices are very reasonable especially using their coupon codes. The staff is generally friendly and the restaurant pretty clean. We've gotten DP Dough since it first came to Cortland many years ago. Just a comment....not a complaint. I prefer the original DP Dough crust better. Go there. You won't be disappointed!!!
The definition of hit or miss. And when it's a miss it's food left in the cold with no attempt at contact or getting it almost 2 hours later & finding out from the driver it went to someone random with no confirmation AFTER getting a generic "it's on the road" when calling, meaning whoever answers is just saying whatever without checking so they can hang up fast as possible.
They'd get less stars if they weren't so cheap. If you want pockets of cheese and bread delivered at the lowest price possible, this is the game in town. The food is nothing to write home about though. Merely okay. There are probably 10 different places serving better calzones in Cortland/Homer.
I love this place just wish they would stuff calzones when you ask and get charged for it. My husband's calzone was flat and had no extra toppings
The calzone was affordable. The staff were friendly. I didn't tip when I ordered. When I got home, my calzone was a nice golden brown on the outside, and cold on the inside. The cheese inside was still in its shredded form. I'm waiting right now for my oven to heat up, so that I can cook the calzone that D.P Dough already cooked for me! (Turn the oven temp down 25F boys, increase the cooking time by 10 minutes, AND pay attention to what you are doing). It was the first time in 15 years, or longer, that I even entered the store. Maybe this is just an unlucky one-off, but MAYBE you should turn your oven on before you call in your order. Also, this is why I did NOT tip. Taking my order, cooking the food, and handing it to me isn't a tip worthy event. It is the absolute bare minimum requirement of your continued employment. Tips are gratuities for jobs done above and beyond. NOT an incentive for you to even try at all. And you FAILED to perform the bare minimum threshold of your job satisfactorily.
I used to love this place and it was really good. The first time I got a buffalo chicken salad, it was awesome it was large and lasted for two meals. I ordered one last week and it was much much smaller. I did blame it on myself for ordering at almost closing time, but the staff were very pleasant. Sunday, I ordered for delivery. It was a relatively simple order. The bag has the right ticket but the inside had different food. I happen to open a box of Oreos. At first I did not know what it was so I accidentally took one out. When I called, they told me not to touch anymore of the food because they wanted to deliver it to the respective person. Lol I thought if something is open, and the person keeps it because it is not sanitary. I could not believe my ears. Then the staff member had attitude like it was my fault.. Maybe they should double check the ticket and the order before sending it out. Technically, I should have kept the food but they got it back and then delivered mine. Almost an hour later. It is almost 2 hours to get my correct order. The DP dunkers were very dry. And the tater tot’s were just slopped together. I ended up throwing half of it out. Never again.
Terrible calzone, didn't have anything in it.. all crust. Spent 20$ on crust
My son, 14 years old, ordered dp dough sticks with his friend last night, 3/30/2025, and has been severely sick since. Will not be going here ever again.
I love D.P. always order from here but last few times I have ordered the frosting for the Oreos and or any sweets been foam. The delivery guy just left it at my door with out knocking or calling to let me it was here so it was sitting out there for god knows how long so when I got it my food was cold Again I’m always ordering here but theses problems just started kinda disappointed
I do not recommend this business at all, unless you like aluminum foil in your chicken wings. I have tried to contact the business various ways with no response. I ate the wings at the Cortland location but did not notice the foil as they were covered in wing sauce. This was seen when I went to reheat them the next day. Foil is literally embedded in every wing!!
