Wow Wow Wow! I stumbled upon a true gem! This French cafe and coffee shop is just lovely! The staff is friendly and attentive and have charming French accents! 😍 I had the breakfast sandwich with turkey and tomatoes no cheese and added mayo. I wasn’t expecting such flavor and freshness from what I thought was a simple breakfast sandwich!! The photo shows it’s as beautiful as it tastes! Even the fruits and berries were fresh and sweet! The chocolate croissant is soft and delicious too!

Laurent’s “Le” Coffee Shop is a French bakery cafe right right on Washington Blvd. The owner Jamel is from France and they do everything French style. La Vie En Rose is playing as I’m writing this, and it’s such a peaceful start to my day. It’s amazing, it’s a typical French place. The people inside are amazing and the hospitality is top notch. I went with the coffee with almond milk, and the egg scramble with goat cheese and tomatoes, served with a side salad with their house-made vinaigrette. There’s street parking in the neighborhood, just read the signs, and there are meters right out front. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and it’s casual where you order at the counter and your food gets brought to you.

Magnifique! Excellent vanilla Oatmilk latte, fresh croissant, and simple, yet elegant atmosphere makes this shop my new favorite on the west side. Genuine friendly , down to earth service too. Plenty of parking too. Came here on a Friday morning and will come back daily ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My go to is the Complete Omelette. It's very tasty and great with an Americano for brunch. I also really enjoy their pastries such as the Almond Croissant and the Blueberry Almond tart. Armando, the owner is always very pleasant and makes sure that every dish served is perfection. Highly recommend stopping by!

The croissants have beautiful lamination and are so so tasty and flaky! The first time I came I got a breakfast sandwich on the croissant with eggs and tomato, very delicious. The second time I got a chocolate one. There’s tables and chairs inside and out. The guys at the counter as super kind.

Wonderful little neighborhood coffee shop! Had the omelette of the day (salmon) and it was beautifully presented with fruit. The best part is they always greet you with a smile.

Any Egg dish here is amazing! They add cream in their omelettes that make any egg dish to die for. The french toast is also very unique with apples and cranberries. Must try: breakfast croissant sandwich and french toast. In photo is the spanish omelette on left and french toast on right. Staff is also really friendly and kind! We got a lot of great recommendations on local sites to visit.

A small place, but I got the French Toast and it was fantastic! Covered with berries and decorated with whipped cream. Different than any other French toast I have had ( something to do with the bread? It's like the bread was torn up before getting soaked in the egg stuff, and then reassembled? ) Whatever the reason, it was delicious. I.. ate it before I could take a picture. Sorry.

Not a lot in the way of true French atmosphere or decor but solid croissants that are moist and airy, good coffee. We’d return for sure! I like that they also have sparkling apple juice, something I remember fondly from prior trips to France.

This place had nice vibes. I loved the plating and serving. Bonus points for the pretty le creuset coffee mugs. And the coffee was good. Excellent foam on the cappuccino. The fresh fruit was really nice and I would say the avocado toast was good but not great. The bread was very difficult to cut. The danish was also good. My main concern is that the service was ok, but the counter person was not very friendly at all and also forgot part of our order. It also took quite a while for the food to come out so be prepared to wait if you do order off of the food menu.

I was a little excited to try this place. I ordered an iced latte, canele, and an avocado toast. For some reason the avocado toast took 28 minutes to arrive at my table. I'd have excused that if things were delicious but.... The eggs were IMO undercooked. I like runny yolks but half the whites were uncooked too. Maybe they rushed itnokce they realized they'd forgotten to make it. I tried it anyway but the whole thing was rather flavorless. A couple of slices of avocado on a piece of french baguette with a fried egg and ground pepper. The canele tasted ok but texture wise it was mushy on the outside instead of crisp. I'm not sure I'd go back for a 2nd chance

What a disappointment. The place, food, atmosphere look nothing like the photos posted online. The green matcha latte was way too sweet. It’s not common to sweeten the drinks without telling the customers. The iced coffee was not good either. The patries was soggy. And the quiches didn’t look so appetizing. Honestly, we wasted our money as we took a few sips/bites and left. We headed to Superba where you can find quality food/drinks.
