Eureka! Cupertino Reviews
I like happy hour. They have a decent selection of bites, a good selection of cocktails, and an awesome selection of beers. Sorry, they have wine too, but I didn't look at that. My fav bite is the artichoke dip with tortilla chips. The dips are creamy and cheesy. The mac n cheese balls are also tasty, but they are super filling. Probably cuz they're deep fried. Same for the sweet potato fries which are also delicious. The spicy cauliflower and spicy green beans were liked by others in the group but personally they're just ok. But the happy hour burger with fries is awesome. Patty is big and juicy with a nice bun. Honestly, even tastier was the fried chicken sandwich. It's on the regular menu though, not happy hour. This time I had the flight of beers... you may choose any four from the menu, with a few restrictions. Best for me was the coconut stout. The lost abbey was too weird tasting for me. Also, the margaritas are good. The servers are friendly. And the patio is dog friendly. April 2023 update: Great happy hour place! A very decent quantity of rotating beers, which you can get by the glass or a flight of 4. Spicy chicken sandwich is good. Highly recommended. Fish 'n chips are pretty good. Artichoke dip is tasty and creamy. Even the wings are nice. If you like veggies, try the Brussell sprouts. You can find a table, either inside or outside. A decent amount of parking at this location (they have a parking garage).
I loved my Bloody Mary and smash burger! Everything here is so good! For apps, we got pretzel bites, Mac n cheese balls and Caesar salad. All so fresh and delicious! Great service as well. The kid menu is awesome
Service (Riley) was phenomenal! Food was tasty and the drinks ... Oh my! Wild Child & Dragon fruit mojito are big winners! We had a wonderful time there meeting up with old friends.
Great service and cocktails! We love to come here for a date night. Jeopardy trivia on Saturdays was a nice surprise! This review was done in connection with a Toast promotion.
Great place for a Friday night! Lively atmosphere with great service from Rylie, she recommended the goat cheese salad which was delicious and now my favorite drink called the wild child. Definitely recommend and I’ll be coming back soon.
Best Eureka! location I've visited! Friendly staff, nice chill atmosphere, good food an drinks. I come weekly and I'm so glad this is in my neighborhood. My go-tos are whiskey old fashioned, brussel sprouts, and the fig burger. 🥃🥗🍔 They have happy, oops, "hoppy hours" and special deals every day. The regular price is a bit on the higher side but worth it for me.
The food is pricey, but they give you a lot and it's good. Many gluten free items, including gluten free buns. Their brussel sprouts are delicious, and that's hard to find. The truffle cheese fries are really good, you can taste the truffle in the rich cheese sauce served on the side.
Pretty good for chain food, though there's room for improvement. Bone marrow burger was not bad; they got the temp of the patty pretty close. Fries were a little too hard-fried (not just crispy - *hard*). The grilled cheese sandwich was truly GBD (golden brown and delicious), but the tomato soup was too sweet and not tangy or savory enough. Servers and hostess were all great. Shout out to Francisca(?) - give your Pomeranian a scritch and a treat for me when you get home, okay? The way the wall opens up onto the covered patio gives it a nice open feel, though if you want to sit inside it doesn't feel very "indoors." The biggest negative is how screechy those metal chairs are on the concrete. They're so heavy that most people pull them and don't even attempt to lift them, so every time a table got up to leave we were treated to the sound of a zillion loud, conversation-drowning scrapes. If you have a noise-reactive dog this may not be the dog-friendly restaurant of your dreams.
Loved the food- it’s not great for triglycerides though. Fried chicken sandwich is the new favorite. Crispy Brussels sprouts and chicken nachos were yummy. Cauliflower and veggie burger was okay. margarita was not up to my liking. My daughter likes mac and cheese balls! Note to self - don’t take truffle fries. And we love barrel cake with ice cream Chicken lettuces wrap is okay, pass on goat cheese salad.
Eureka in Cupertino delivered the perfect cozy date night! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with ideal weather for their outdoor seating. The service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. We couldn’t get enough of their dragon fruit mojitos—we had six between us! It’s a specialty drink that’s sadly being phased out, so definitely try it while you can. The cocktails were fresh, fruity, and dangerously smooth. The 28-day aged bone marrow burger was absolutely to die for—packed with bold flavor and incredibly juicy. We also ordered the poke stack appetizer, which was light, fresh, and beautifully layered, and the bison burger, which was rich, satisfying, and perfectly cooked. From the food to the drinks to the ambiance, everything hit the mark. Can’t wait to come back!
Great food, good choice of drinks and brews, fabulous outdoorsy atmosphere, in an upscale yet comfortable setting. What is there not to love about Eureka? The staff was super friendly, and the place got quite packed with the afternoon happy-hour work crowd. But other than that, it was lively, fun, and again, we had a good time. Absolutely recommend for happy hours and casual business meals.
We love Eureka! We knew the one in MTV and loved it. And we found out this one, closer to our new place and it’s lovely! Very nice area. Friendly staff. And the food is always so yummy. We had dinner before coming last night and ended up being hungry after… so we came for a drink and some fries. So good. The floor is lava cocktail was good but strong smoked flavor (which is fun but strong!) 🌋 Highly recommend this place! Especially for a date (casual/not too fancy date) and to hangout with friends 👌
Came on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm, ambiance was a chill vibe with some TVs playing football games, heaters. Overall, very impressed with amicable staff and the fact you can order per their touchless menu makes the experience fantastic. The paltry food and drink selection was a bummer but quality of the items were great. Macaroni balls were spot on, crunchy and flavorful. BBQ burger wasn't anything special but was great as well as the side of fries it comes with. Turkey sandwich was delicious as well. The 'hoppy' hour of $5 beer and bloody Mary added value to the experience. FYI - a 16% service fee will be added to the bill during COVID.
We went for an early lunch. My first time and the experience was pleasant. Had smash burgers and garlic fries and a flight of beers . Friendly staff and nice lunch.
Double smash burger was very tasty and the fries were a bit over seasoned. Chicken nachos were good although a bit skimpy on the chicken. Skip the charcoal lemonade as I noticed nothing special about the bland $6 drink. Service was very accommodating as we had to change tables and they brought out the heat lamp for us. PS. Please fix the women's restroom stalls doors as they annoyingly slam shut loudly without any effort.
This place offers a modern and comfortable atmosphere with a diverse menu of American cuisine. The ambiance is casual and trendy, with dim lighting and a stylish decor that creates a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere. The menu at Eureka features a range of dishes, from classic burgers and sandwiches to salads and appetizers.
Solid choice to eat here during these COVID times with proper safety protocols in place from ordering the food on your mobile to payment. The only touch points with the servers were when they bring you the dishes. Great values on happy hours beer, wine and food. We especially enjoyed the truffle fries and the few craft IPAs. Will be back once the lockdown us over, hopefully soon early 2021.
A lot of hits with some misses. Ordered the burger medium, and it came out perfectly medium! The sweet potato fries that I paid $2 surcharge for were soggy though. Wings were expensive ($12) but you can tell they care about the quality of execution: Chicken wings were moist and done to order, the carrot and celery sticks were similarly moist and not dried up nor rubbery. I appreciate the attention to details when the menu is as simple as it is. There were 3 drink menus and only one food menu :) Happy Hour 2-6pm. Beer flight $9. Whiskey flight $22. Drink selection is all American but in case you want to bring something different, corkage is a reasonable $10. They have a patio that I assume is dog friendly as there is a doggie water bowl. Good music, good ambiance, large selection of beer on tap. I can imagine this to be a popular place for happy hour or for large groups.
Super bowl update: no happy hour for super bowl. I guess this is 1 star forever. Who owns this place? Overall summary: Same menu for years, limited food options, lack of dark beer. freezing metal chairs on patio No 20oz beer Some Dark beer in 13oz only
