Oren's Hummus Cupertino Reviews
Tiramisu latte is just amazing. The place is on the noisy side I would say compared to other coffee shops I have been to. Service was quick and staff is very nice. Its popular spot so finding indoor seating can be a challenge. Overall good experience. Will definitely come again.
The Philz team absolutely made my day. The coffee was fantastic, but the friendly service and welcoming vibe stood out even more. I’m already looking forward to coming back and finding my next cup here.
Centrally located Philz in Cupertino. While this is part of a chain, it still felt more like a specialty coffee store and not just a generic Starbucks experience. Ample indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor area is very large and dog-friendly. Turkish coffee was tasty! Plenty of parking within a 5-minute walk. It can get pretty busy, so wait time can vary. Best to order online ahead.
Really liked the Carmel and banana brew. The outdoor seating was nice as well. Free self serve water and was very clean.
I enjoyed sitting at the tables and relaxing the other day. They have free wifi service. It was a wonderful day!
Cool place for coffee. There are plenty of good house blended beans. This is my second visit and it is not disappointing. It is also a good place for students to collaborate the discussion and study. Best part, it comes with a good green grass field in front of the shop.
Good amount of seating inside and outside. Nice employees (although didn’t care for the impromptu, off-pitch concert one of them was giving…) Love the care each order gets! Quality is worth the wait!!
Very good coffee and place to chill. I’ve got the iced minted mojito, it’s a bit sweeter than I remembered. But the overall surrounding is great. It might take 10mins plus for your drinks tho. 來矽谷不能錯過的咖啡
Really cozy and cute area to work at. Vegan friendly, they have fully plant based “breakfast” sandwich with beyond meat, “just” eggs and vegan cheese. Very interesting coffee drinks, lots of searing area outside from both sides (front and the back of the building), outlets to charge your device inside, I really enjoyed it! Also this area has a lot of bakeries and places to eat!
This Philz is a hallmark of Main Street Cupertino. You can count on them to get your order right, efficient service, and a variety of seating to choose from (indoor/outdoor). A good amount of rotating seasonal drinks and customizations like any other Philz. I’ve also tried a few of their bakery items which are pretty solid as well.
We came in tonight and were looking for something light, the hummus was delicious and the pita came out hot. Ashley was our server and she was attentive, but never interrupted our conversation and was a joy. Even if the food wasn’t good (which it was) she would’ve made the experience itself more enjoyable.
We had such a wonderful experience at Oren’s! The space is absolutely beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service was just as impressive. I completely forgot to take photos until it was too late — I only managed to grab a quick shot of one dish! I was especially impressed by the waitstaff. There was a large table nearby (about ten or twelve people) who were being quite difficult, and the waitress handled them with incredible patience and professionalism. Even as we were leaving, we ended up having a really friendly conversation with another staff member — the kind of genuine interaction that makes you want to come back. My only small complaint was that our appetizer arrived with the entrées, which I don’t prefer, but given how much attention the staff had to devote to the challenging table next to us, I completely understand. Overall, a fantastic dining experience — can’t wait to return!
We had an amazing experience at this Mediterranean restaurant! The pita bread was the softest we've ever had—fresh, warm, and perfect with every bite. The falafel was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was excellent, well-balanced, and incredibly tasty. Highly recommend this place for Mediterranean flavors and a satisfying meal.
Absolutely enjoyed our meal at Oren's hummus. They have many different types of eggplant dishes which we loved. Chicken was very tender and we absolutely loved the spicy sauces. The staff was very friendly and attentive to your needs. We liked other dishes over Romanian eggplants and Toboleh. Highly recommend if you're at Cupertino Main Square.
This is easily one of my favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is so beautiful and clean. Our server Nicole was so warm and welcoming, she was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. We had the garlic feta fries which were AMAZING, along with the Pita Chicken Falafel (which is my personal favorite) and for desert had the chocolate mousse which was a perfect combination of sweet but not over powering sweet. The manager Paloma (I believe her name was) came and checked in on us and was so kind! It was overall an amazing experience and tasty meal. I’m from Washington state here visiting family and every time I come down I always make sure to stop here. 10/10 recommend.
Had a lovely weekend lunch. The mimosa and strawberry lemonade were very tasty and refreshing. Beef lamb kebabs were delicious but a bit overcooked and firm. Falafel were crispy and well seasoned but were tiny. Roasted cauliflower was lightly seasoned and still crunchy. Shushuka was hot and spicy with lots of tomato sauce. But, The garlic feta fries were the best dish, to be honest, still crispy and moist topped with garlic and feta. Service was excellent and the ambience was relaxing and well appointed.
Beautiful space, tall ceilings and huge dining areas (indoors and semi-outdoor). Largest of all of Oren's Hummus locations. My mom who lives nearby says she never has trouble getting a seat here, which makes this a great place to go with a large party and/or kids on short notice. The plates may not look impressive when they show up on the table (e.g. this small plate for $25?!), but they're surprisingly filling, delicious, and taste like they're made with high quality ingredients. Our favorites are the chicken thigh skewers, cauliflower hummus, and the chicken rice bowl. Rice bowl should be shared with the table because you only get rice and chicken in it.
My husband and I came here for dinner recently, I had a reservation but didn’t need one as there were people there but open tables as well. We were so hungry, we ordered the Muhamarra as it was gluten free to share then my husband got the Schnitzel de Noir and I got the gluten free pita beef kabob. We both agreed our food was delicious! Wish we lived closer or I would be coming back all the time. They had a lot of gluten free options and the pita bread was amazing!!
Perhaps the best place to eat middle eastern food in California. Highly recommend the house-made hummus entree and the pargiot chicken sandwich.

This coffee shop was spacious, fast, and very clean, making it a comfortable place to relax or grab a quick drink. The coffee was delicious, especially since they grind the beans right in front of you, which really brings out the fresh flavors. There’s also a wide variety of toppings and add-ons, so you can customize your drink exactly how you like it. Overall, it’s a great spot for anyone who enjoys high-quality coffee in a bright and welcoming environment.
Nice coffee shop that does pour over coffee for all of their coffees. I couldn’t see the brewer they use but it was a flat bottom paper filter into a metal canister looking thing. They grind the beans fresh. The choice of beans is fairly limited to various house blends with more options towards the medium to dark roast. They have a dark roast decaf blend as well. Their lightest roast is the “New Manhattan” which was brewed to a coffee with a sweeter, medium body profile. I added a little water which helped the red fruit flavors become more discernible. The cafe space itself is nice—high ceilings, lots of windows for light, seating space both inside and outside. The barista was also friendly and helpful.
I visited a Mediterranean-style restaurant in Cupertino with a group of more than eight people, and it was a fantastic experience. The space was very spacious, and the staff were incredibly bright, friendly, and attentive. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food — both the pizza-like flatbreads and the pasta dishes were delicious. From what I gathered, this place is known for its signature hummus varieties and authentic Israeli flavors, offering a warm, welcoming dining atmosphere. The atmosphere felt lively yet relaxed, making it ideal for a group visit.
Good experience overall, with room to improve.:-) Service was excellent, and so was the ambiance — we sat outdoors with nice breeze full of fragrant Jasmine. Liked their revised menu, but the execution can be improved. We (3) ordered Ala carte Skewers and the Sampler. Beef kababs were dry and salty. Chicken was tasty but also salty. Lamb was the best among them all, but the pieces were not trimmed properly before being grilled. Now the best part— Sampler with Pita. Their Pitta bread is absolutely fantastic. Three eggplant dishes in the sampler were delicious (…and we are meat lovers😊).
I’m not typically a huge hummus fan. I like it as an appetizer but never had it as a meal. But I very much enjoyed my hummus chicken bowl for lunch. It’s much more filling than I thought it would be. And the hummus was rich and creamy while the chicken was tasty and textured. Great combination. I paired it with the wheat bread and it was fabulous. I love both their outdoor and bright indoor seating. High ceilings and lots of natural light. I think this place would also be good just for a snack as well.
A chain known for healthy, delicious Mediterranean food on Castro St in downtown Mountain View. We had the mega sampler that included six appetizer dips, the chicken hummus bowl, the eggplant hummus bowl, shakshoka, falafels, pita bread, and mint tea, all very good, especially with their green and red hot sauces and coleslaw. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very nice dining experience that everyone enjoyed.

Can’t beat the coffee and I’m a long long time fan of Philz. However, the service and the overall atmosphere is abysmal. Understaffed on the service. Can’t even clean up outside from the day before. Ugh!! The owners seem to be milking the brand for all they can get. 🙄
The wait was a little long on a Sunday morning. I got an iced rose latte, light sweetness and light creaminess. I thought those were perfect, but was thrown off a little by the taste — I think it was spiced? Didn’t really taste a particular rose flavor. It was an okay drink overall but it was totally not what I was expecting. I’d probably want to come back and try some other items to see what is my speed and what is not.
It takes 10-15 minutes to get coffee here. Taking laid-back too seriously . My 3 experiences are pretty consistent with this time range( all in the afternoon/late afternoon) . I could see variety of work commitments in the people working there. The one with 'work kills' t shirt truly believed in it
Bro i’ve never had mediterranean food before so i have absolutely no idea what I should get so i asked the server and she was quite rude with the way she answered and when I told her I don’t know because I’ve never had this food before she got really irritated. Not only that but when we were paying we wanted to split the bill and our cards kept on declining when we used apple pay and she blamed us for that, we later figured out that it was an issue with her device.
Food is great and the people is awesome. But today is the second time in a row that they forget something in my order and I’m honestly so disappointed. First time they forgot my falafels and the manager was amazing when I called to let them know about the missing food they were amazing and were caring about the ge situation, today I called a thousand times and couldnt get someone on the phone. I’m pretty disappointed about such great food having such problems. If you do takeout please CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE

I asked for light ice, but the cup was almost completely filled with ice. It honestly felt a bit like a scam. I was surprised by how little tea was actually inside.
I’ve been a loyal Philz customer for many years. This spot at Main St. has been our go to place after a morning jog during weekends. We love their coffee, love the vivid and friendly ambiance. But the service has been going down-spiral. And this morning, I ordered a coffee at Philz, but it never seemed to be ready. I went to check twice and didn’t see my order. The two baristas were chatting the whole time and making drinks very slowly. The third time I asked another staff member, one of the girls pointed to a cup on the side and said, “That’s yours.” I asked why the cup didn’t have a label, since they normally do, and she said she had already called my name. Honestly, in a busy store split into two sides, just shouting a name once and calling it done doesn’t really work. Plus, since we had already come by twice looking for our drinks, she could have simply asked for our names to confirm. From start to finish, there was no sense that they cared to do their job a little better. I am so disappointed and sad to see this at Philz.
This is what $8.50 gets you when you buy their falafel. One picture is their picture and one is what you actually get

I’m not exactly sure why so many people love this coffee and think it is so delicious. The beans themselves are pretty poor quality and the only way the drinks will likely taste great is adding a ton of heavy cream and sugar, which will make pretty much any coffee taste decent. I even bought whole beans to see if I could brew a black cup of coffee better myself, and it came out tasting the same as I also used a pour over method. I would not recommend buying this coffee and it is only drinkable if you add a lot of cream and sugar, which is not how I drink my coffee.
Great coffee doesn’t excuse poor customer service. The coffee itself might be good, but the experience was frustrating. Their menu is unnecessarily complicated, and when I asked for simple help understanding what to order, the staff member launched into long, pretentious explanations about tasting notes and wine like descriptions instead of just giving a straightforward recommendation. As a tourist, I was hoping for friendly guidance, not a lecture that made things more confusing. Good service means adapting to the customer , not expecting them to decode an overcomplicated menu using imagination.
They don't wear hairnets, hats, or gloves. Never seen anybody wash their hands. DISGUSTING. Overpriced coffee, quality was mid, also didn't even taste good for the price. Do NOT go here, there are better options around here, I promise. Overall, very disappointed with Cupertino and Philz coffee, do better.
