Spring Creek Barbecue Cypress Reviews
The 2 girls working the bread/desert/ice cream station today were so tolerant of our large party and requests. Their customer service was amazing. Guys taking our orders making our food the girls and guys giving out sides. Cashier. Everyone was amazing. Good job spring creek on hiring the best employees.
Free rolls! Great brisket that isn't overly salty, delicious mustard potato salad, yummy pinto beans, and my daughter got the baby back ribs and loved them. Way better food than Rudy's!
This was my first visit to Spring Creek BBQ and this place did not disappoint. I had the brisket with a side of beans and mac & cheese. The flavor and seasoning of the meat is amazing. The meal also came with a fresh baked bread roll that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This is definitely a place you will want to visit if you are in the area.
It is with great pleasure that I express my appreciation for the exceptional customer service I consistently receive at your establishment. From the moment I step through the door, I am greeted with genuine warmth and care, making each visit a truly memorable experience. In particular, I would like to commend Michael for his outstanding service during my most recent visit. His professionalism and attention to detail were truly remarkable. I will undoubtedly continue to patronize your restaurant and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting our town.
Spring Creek Barbecue is a throw back to the early 1990s when I was growing up and still delivers the goods today. Now the food isn’t as good as some of the best barbecue joints out there but it’s still a solid spot and especially for large parties. It’s not pretentious. You can get unlimited rolls which are delicious. Very good ribs, brisket and very kid friendly. We enjoyed ourselves.
Oh yes! Great food, comfortable place, kind and funny staff. After eye shopping at the premium outlets, we decided to drive down 10 minutes to this place. Easy access from 290. Me and my guest ordered the “Brisket & Sausage Combination”. The two cooks in the meat section sang back to us our order in a classic southern melody, very fun way to start your meal. Then we chose our sides from a not very big selection but just what you need, and you could fit as much as you could in your plate (that’s a lot). Then some toppings and finally the drinks and the cashier. Prices are reasonable, about $12-16 per plate and $2.45 drinks. Before I sat down I picked a Cajun Hot Sauce that really hit the spot. The Brisket was tasteful and very... Texan. The sausage was awesome; the sides and toppings tasty. Half way through, a lady was walking by with a basket of freshly baked bread, offering every table (for free). One more warm and fresh bun was great to finish up. She even came again after I was done! Throughout the dine, we could hear the cooks singing quick A Capelas of the orders, almost all different. Interviews for cooks must be weird here. Left with a full stomach, warm heart, and a Texas sized smile. Thanks you guys; will be back. Cheers! *Pictures: 2 combinations plates, the inside and outside, and the smoker which is right at the entrance.
Prices are alil high but not like other places the BBQ is juicy and tender and girls at register at to go area are really nice , another visit clarise really wowed me with good ole Texas Service and Joe the manager was very polite and friendly
I've been here many times over the years and usually enjoy it, but quality can vary depending on what time you come for dinner. Food: Overall the food is good and flavorful, but if you arrive around 5:30–6:00 pm, the brisket tends to be dry (it seems like it's been sitting under heat lamps too long after the lunch rush). Portions also feel a bit small for the price these days. The rolls: I absolutely love the hot rolls — they're one of the main reasons I keep coming back. They're supposed to be "endless," but on my last visit the waitress only brought them once and never came back with more, even though we were obviously finishing them. A little disappointing when that's a signature thing. Just sharing this as constructive feedback because I really want to keep coming. When the brisket is fresh and the rolls keep coming, this place is hard to beat. Hope the team tightens up the timing and service a bit — I'll definitely be back!
It's good food. The rolls are especially good. Didn't spend a lot of time in the restaurant. Had an emergency but they were nice enough to give me all the stuff I needed to box up and leave
Some items are really good and some respectfully need flavor modifications. The bay back ribs, chicken, and chopped brisket baked potato were good, I’d only but they chicken and ribs again tho. The sausage, macaroni and cheese was a no. They are what need modifying. The rue for the macaroni had no flavor it was like I was eating boiled noodles. The sausage tasted like hot dogs. The inside had a smooth texture instead of the rigid sausage usually comes with. The pulled pork had a nice flavor but half of the .5 lbs was so charred it was not edible. We ordered other things total came up to be around $95ish but those items listed were either really good or really bad.
Not a very nice experience last night, we came at 8:30 pm and in theory the restaurant is closing at 10:00 pm based on the sticker in the front door. Everything was cold, there was no more unsweetened tea and when we left at 9:00 pm, the door was already closed and the employees actively cleaning the room and putting the chairs on the table.
Ordered 3 sliced beef sandwiches to go with onions and pickles. We received 1 pickle, 1 broken up onion slice and 1 hot pepper, 3 sandwiches I should have got at 3 of each. Sandwiches had a lot of fat and burnt pieces Wish I would’ve taken pictures, very disappointed in the sandwiches and not enough onions and pickles to enjoy
Disappointed! This will be my Last visit. Yes, my plate is a mess! As I was cutting my sandwich in half there was an issue that I never had before. Never has there been an issue, but as I tried sawing into the bread the knife bounced off & sauce went everywhere. The bun it was Hard, when I requested for a New Bun there came an issue for "Me"(customer) she insists giving a cold bun out of a a Bag. As I bit into the sandwich "Yes" meat was hard & Chewy which explains the knife bouncing off, *For a brief moment I wondered which restaurant I was in *Didn't want this to be long but here's my "Black Bun vs Cold Bun"
