Palmieri Cafe Dallas Reviews
Humbling story. Near the counter there is a small sign that narrates the origins of this location. This cafe was founded by an Italian immigrant back in 2014 with the goal of serving authentic Italian flavors. After my visit here recently, I say he succeeded. Italian coffee, gelato ice cream and pastries were flavorful and delicious. They also sell beans for you to make coffee at home. Pass by here and make sure to support a local business with heart, dedication, and authenticity.
Fantastic affogato and cortado. I have been to their Bishop Arts and Dallas Farmers Market locations and have had pleasant experiences both times. Friendly staff and consistent, delicious coffee makes it a location I can revisit.
I got a coffee from here as well as a savory pastry & a sweet pastry & nothing disappointed! I’m from Jersey so it’s a little harder to impress me on coffee & pastries, but everything was delicious & I was totally impressed. The friendliest man with a very thick Italian accent was working the counter and explained what everything was.
Stopped by here on the way to the Parade. The service was great. The coffee was darn good! I had the Dark Chocolate mocha ☕️, and that thang was bussin’ - No cap 🧢 👀 My gf had the Maple Caramel butter 🧈 latte, and that was downright delicious 🤤 as well. Mine was better, don’t tell her I said that though, ☕️👀 I would definitely return!
One of my favorite cafe's in the Dallas area. Drinks and food were great! I ordered the matcha latte and probably one of the best i had in Texas. My wife ordered the gingerbread latte and that did not disappoint as well. The service and the vibe of the cafe was great as well! Definitely will be coming back
There are many places that claim they have great coffee and coffee beans but most only deliver burnt offerings with a catchy name or a cause attached. That is so not the case with Palmieri Cafe. If you are looking for truly great tasting coffee and coffee beans then look no further. The owner of Palmieri Cafe is Corrado Palmieri, a friendly unassuming soul dedicated to his customers and his passion for coffee. He roasts his own beans as well as makes his divine Italian pastries from scratch. He is truly an artistian when it comes to both. He has several locations, but I visited his cafe at the indoor Farmers Market in Downtown Dallas. Fun day trip with lots of other shops too! I purchased whole beans, Guatamalen dark roast, Ethiopian light roast, Espresso dark roast. I tried all at home and all insanely delicious!!! We also tried the cannoncino pastry filled with milk chocolate cream, pasticciotto filled with pistachio and vanilla cream. Light, flaky, not too sweet and heavenly delicious! 10 out of 10 I highly recommend you check out his wonderful cafe. He does sell his coffee beans at Eataly and Amazon as well. Plus he ships free anywhere in the USA.
I don’t think I can ever get espresso anywhere else from now on. This has been the best espresso of my life. I am not exaggerating. I have had great espresso and even in unexpected places. Nothing else compares. I am ruined. Having something so delicious ruins all future espresso purchases. I think only being in Italy drinking espresso could top this. The pastries are all made from scratch and prepared in the most perfect way. I chose the seasonal pumpkin pastry. I usually don’t jump on the pumpkin spice bandwagon but this one takes the cake or should I say pastry cake. My fall break is now complete and I can return fully happy. Earlier I tried the pistachio and the espresso gelatos. Goodness with every bite. Chef’s kiss 🤌🤌 Best coffee shop in Dallas. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
today was a cold icy day in Dallas and I took upon the opportunity to treat myself to the Dallas Farmers Market, sadly most of the stores and establishments were closed due to the weather (I’m from up north so culture shock, where as everything would have been open) However, I was strolling inside and seen that Palmieri Cafe was open! I was in the mood for something sweet so I treated myself to this artisanal Sea Salt Caramel gelato, which was PHENOMENAL. I also got a 4oz cup of the Mocchacino, which kept me warm and sweet! Thank you to the lovely owner and staff for keeping this gem open on the colder days. Check this place out if you love gelato and coffee. They have so many different other flavors, as well as pastries and types of coffee. On to my next adventure!
Every time I go to the Dallas farmers market I make sure to stop by the Palmieri Cafe and get my coffee fix. After the coffee I’m ready to stroll the many booths at the farmers market. This place is always busy, and for good reason, they have a large selection of coffee drinks, along with sandwiches, and pastries to have with your coffee. This time I had an Americano coffee black with no sugar. The coffee they serve is very strong, and smooth at the same time. I highly recommend Palmieri cafe, so if you’re at the farmers market give them a try!
The coffee was excellent—rich and full of flavor, with just the right amount of boldness. I tried their cappuccino, and it was perfectly balanced, with a creamy texture and smooth finish. The pastries were fresh, with the croissant being light and buttery, just the way I like it
Totally okay. The lavender latte was a little too milky and the lavender flavor was mostly absent. My friend got the matcha and couldn't finish it. I would definitely try it again because the other reviews were so great. It's likely we came in on an off day.
So we live in FM like 500 ft from this cafe. The last time we went a few mos ago got iced coffees with that nasty orangey watered-down color. We gave them a few months to get their ish together and returned today after TX/OU weekend. He prefaced they were out of whipped cream bc I was w my dog. Forgivable. However, ordered a cappuccino and gave it to me. Clearly they were also out of real milk but the barista proceeded to serve me my drink without letting me know they were out of what you would receive if ordering a standard drink. It had some dairy free milk. Why wouldn’t you lmk it was dairy free before serving? Tasted disgusting, cost $8, and now solidified our resolve to never get coffee here again even tho we live right next to it!
