Princi Italia Dallas Reviews
Had such a great experience at Princi Italia. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was spot on! beautiful interiors, a lively patio, and just an overall inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Our server was amazing: attentive, friendly, and made the whole evening feel effortless. The drinks were on point, the wine selection was impressive, and the appetizers definitely delivered. We ordered the calamari and it was perfectly cooked… light, crispy, and super flavorful. If you’re looking for a place in Dallas with great energy, solid Italian bites, and a patio worth lingering on, this one’s a win. ✨🍷
Great place for a date or a single night out. Fresh pasta made daily is the best I've had thus far. Ambiance is low-key but still very nice. Great selection of wines if you're a vino conniesuer! Great service and friendly staff.
Good Afternoon! It was a great day. The service from Aidan was amazing. I had the fast lunch which was $17 for a tomato soup and spaghetti bolognese, which is what I came for. My bolognese was super good. The noodles were chewier, which I quite enjoyed. I rate the food 4 stars because I wish there was a deeper flavor to the bolognese. However, the overall flavor was awesome. There was also a military discount, in which I am super honored that they do. 9/10 experience.
Love the pizza! 🍕 wood fire 🔥 pizzas have a nice crisp and charred under carriage, with a pillowy soft dough. 😋 delicious. The ceasar salad 🥗 was a bit too bland, but the pizza made up for it.
Came here to lunch with some colleagues and absolutely loved it! I tried their truffle pizza and it was amazing. Service was also very good. Mona, our server, was so friendly and welcoming. She recommended us several stuff off the menu and we all enjoyed it. Definitely will tell others about this place.
I’m so lucky to work right next to this place. The food is always so good, they staff is very sweet and knowledgeable and they’re very good listeners when it comes to taking requests and wanting to customize your pizza or dish when possible. This place also gets really busy yet every time I go I manage to get seated super fast… but maybe it’s because I always go alone which is kinda sad, I’ll try next time with a friend. The pastas are also incredible, I just never get full with the ravioli so I have to get much more 🫣 I always get a margarita mixed with something else and this time I got the figs pizza which was amazing. It is a touch sweet and savory so you definitely have to like that. I did!
Ate here today and I only have wonderful things to say about this restaurant. My friend and I had the caprese salad and the fig and gorgonzola pizza. The food was out of this world—the pizza dough was light and fluffy with the best flavor and the caprese was a wonderful combination of different flavors. Our waitress was Mona and she was so attentive, personable all while being quick and helpful. 100% recommend this restaurant. Go eat there—you won’t regret it whatsoever.
Took my wife to this restaurant, food was flavorful and palatable. I had a three course dinner and everything was appetizing. The atmosphere of this restaurant complements the food, the lighting decor cleanliness and service were fenomenal. We were able to have a conversation at a normal tone of voice without been disruptive. It is a restaurant that I will recommend and definitely will come back!
Tortellini appetizer is amazing. Portion is very small (only 4 pieces) but most definelty the best truffle tortellini i've ever had. Hands down. Salmon and Chicken Piccata entrees are awesome. I got extra brocollini. Great staff. You'll get your meal within the first 40 mins of being there. The desserts are also absolutely delicious. Melt in your mouth tiramisu. You have to get it. Another visit: Tried their pizza for the first time! Delicious. Their tiramisu was (as always) amazing and I also tried their beef gnocchi. Fantastic food and fast service! Left very happy :)
Good food at reasonable prices. I had the spaghetti marinara with a meatball. The pasta we was great. The sauce ok. And the meatball was dry and kinda tasteless. The pizza however was the star. The margarita pizza was vey thin crust and tasty. Slow and disjointed service. Restaurant is kinda old looking.
Dinner with friends. We had the lobster fra diavolo, spaghetti bolognese, fig and Gorgonzola pizza, and the special. All delicious. Great atmosphere and good food. Good recommendation!
This is a popular, local Italian eatery with a very loyal following. The food is really good and it gets quite busy during the rush. In my honest opinion, they're really pushing the limits with regards to how extensive the menu is, considering different lunch and dinner daily specials, not to mention extra specials on top of that on occasion! I personally think they'd do well with trimming the fat and focusing on center of the plate! In any case, I highly recommend Princi Italia for a lovely dinning experience. Of note, they're soon to open Centralé Italia soon. Stay tuned for more quality Italian fare to come... Ciao
I know that Princi Italia has been here for quite sometime and never been here. My Lady Boss decided that we both go there since her Family is one of the regular customers. I love their Calamari. However, their Pasta didn’t trigger my taste buds. I ordered Spaghetti Pomodoro and my Boss ordered Capalini Marinara. To me, they just have a unique name for the Restaurant that goes along with their foods. Presentation is good. I may be wrong with my review but my taste buds say so. I also cook and I know what is a good Pasta.
Came by for a late lunch. Our server was great and we started with the garlic flatbread and Italian wedding soup. Enjoyed both, they were very light. We waited quite a while for our entrees, the Orecchiette and the penne arrabbiata. Both looked very good but to my surprise the orecchiette had absolutely no seasoning, not a pinch of salt. Tasted like boiled noddles and olive oil. Unfortunately I didn’t send it back because we didn’t have time to wait any further. I decided to take it home and try to season/eat it later. My husbands penne was very over cooked but had seasoning and flavor. Very disappointing birthday lunch.
We got there early today. Appetite was meat balls and bread. Meatball was very undercooked, still pink in the middle. The rest of the meal was fine. Our server was great.
We went here for lunch on a Saturday. The food was not bad but service was horrible. Our server did not seem interested at all in talking to us. When we arrived, we were waiting by the host stand for someone to guide us to our table. The server just came and looked at us without saying anything. We were seated quickly when we told him we had a reservation. Throughout lunch, he barely ever checked in on us and seemed more interested in chatting with his colleagues in the kitchen. He only asked us two questions during the whole meal - would you like a drink and would you like to order appetizers. He never offered us any recommendations, did not ask us for our preferences, did not ask if we had ant questions. Some of the dishes were good but if the service is this poor at lunch when the restaurant is not even half full, I don't want to be here at a crowded time. I don't think I would ever go back here.
The server was not very attentive. He didn’t offer cheese with my pasta as he did with other tables. After we received our food he never checked back with us. It was only after we had finished that he returned to our table. When we asked to pack our leftovers he placed a to go box and a pizza box on the table for us to pack it ourselves. Our last experience at Princi the service was just as bad. We gave it another try today but never again.
Really surprised at what was experienced last night. Salad was forgotten until we were welll into our main course. One main course was cold, pasta sauce had became sticky and was bad. A real surprise to the times we had been there before.
My girlfriend and I went here for a date yesterday and I would like to know why we were placed outside to eat when they had many tables available inside the restaurant. We felt left out eating outside alone in the rain while all the other people were eating perfectly fine inside the restaurant.
Appetizer three meatballs and two slices of bread $18. 🤦🏾 Chicken spaghetti $25. 🤦🏾. I just don't like spending money like that. I was invited so I just got something on the appetizer the cheapest. I think it's ludicrous. Next time I will be saying no thank you to the invitation if we're going here.
